Abstract

Abstract: Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on student learning outcomes in Social Science Class IV at SD N 07 Sintoga.The purpose of this research was to effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on student learning outcomes in Social Science Class IV at SD N 07 Sintoga, in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasy experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people, with a population of 50 people. Based on the research that has been done, obtained t count > t table, 3.8364 > 2.011 with α = 0.05 is means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, it meaning there is influence the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model of student learning outcomes in Social Science Class IV SD N 07 SintogaKeyword : Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, learning outcomes, IPS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of narrative writing skill by using experiental learning models at grade V student of Elementary School. The type of research is PTK by using qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri35 Parak Karakah, Padang city with a total of 22 students consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. The result of the narrative writing skill in the pre-writing at cycle I 57,8 (C) increases on cycle II 87,5 (SB). The writing phase in the first cycle 48,8 (K), increased in the second cycle 79,7 (B), the post-writing phase cycle I 58,3 (C) increases in cycle II 84,3 (B).  Keywords: Increased, narrative writing, experiental lerning model.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the improvement of narrative writing skills using Examples Non Examples models in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 04 Pisang, Padang city. The research subjects were as many as 26 teachers as observers, researchers, and fourth grade students consisting of 11 women and 15 men. The results of the pre-writing phase of the cycle I obtained an average score of 51.4% increased to 88.9% in the second cycle. The results of the research in the writing phase of cycle I obtained an average value of 49.4% increased to 80.57% in cycle II. The results of the research in the first cycle in the post-writing phase of cycle I obtained an average value of 54.4% increased to 87.18% in cycle II. It can be concluded that Examples Non Examples models can improve students' narrative writing skills in elementary school. Keywords: narrative writing,Examples Non Examples.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between fast reading skill with the ability to understanding the content of reading class students SDN Gugus II subdistrict Koto tangah Padang city. Type  of research is correlation with number of sample 52 student, implemented in class V SDN 17  Bungo Pasang  and SDN 45 Bungo Pasang. Test results prove between fast reading skill and understanding the contents of reading strong correlated. Correlation coefficient value of 0,721 and t count value 7.335 > t table 2.02 with a significance level of  0.05%, coefficient of determination 52%.  It can be concluded that fast reading skill has significant correlation with the ability to understanding the content of reading 52%.Keywords: fast Reading Skills, Understanding the Content of Reading
