Abstract

This article aims to (1) describe the characteristics of gender based auditory learning modalities, (2) to investigate the supporting aspects of the students’ listening abilities, and (3) to tell the students’ abilities to listen to gender-based texts. This research implements qualitative approach and study case methods. The subject includes fifth grade students of Cigugur state school V. The data was collected through literature studies, observation, interviews, documentation, and fieldnotes. The validity of the data is checked through the data credibility and dependability. The data were analyzed with a reduction of the data, data description, and conclusions. The characteristics of male students’ stereotype is showing an independent character, strong personality, and ambitious. The stereotype for female students includes cheerful, spoiled, and obedient. The supporting aspects for the listening abilities include physical aspect, psychological aspects, gender, and media. In addition, the listening ability of the female students are considered more advanced. Keywords: listening abilities, gender

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of gender-based auditory learning modality, supporting aspects of listening ability, and gender-based listening abilities. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects were the fifth grade students of Cigugur State Elementary School. Data was collected through literature studies, observations, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The validity of the data is checked by data credibility and data dependability. Data is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of the study show 85% students showed the characteristics of auditory learning modality. The characteristics of male students tend to be independent, strong, and ambitious while female students are more cheerful, spoiled and obey. The supporting aspects of listening ability are physical aspect, psychological aspect, sex, and learning media. The listening ability of female students is better than male.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the influence of the School Literacy Movement, through the use of reading corners, on the reading interests and reading abilities of class V students in that school. In the advancing information and technology age, reading skills have become a vital skill. Reading Corner is one of the implementations of the School Literacy Movement that provides easy access for students to acquire and read various kinds of reading materials. This type of research is conducted through a quantitative approach to descriptive methods with the design of research Ex-Post-Facto. The population used in this study is the entire student population in V grade, which is a total of 24 students. The research data was collected through questionnaire instruments and tests, then analyzed using appropriate statistical techniques. The result of this study is that there is an influence of the use of reading corners on student reading interests, but there is no influence on the ability of students to read and understand. The researchers found that there are other factors that can affect the interests of students in reading and understanding. The results are expected to give a deeper understanding of the impact of the utilization of read corners on reading interest and reading ability in V grade students in Elementary School 3 Pagerageung.

Abstract

This study explores using a guided note-taking strategy to address the issue of low listening skills among students. The primary aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of this strategy in strengthening listening skills. Conducted as qualitative research using a descriptive method, the study involved a school principal, classroom teachers, and three fourth-grade students as informants. Data collection techniques included interviews and document analysis. The study identifies several factors contributing to students' low listening skills, including limited concentration, insufficient understanding, weak memory retention, low motivation, and hearing impairments. Teachers sought to address these challenges by implementing the guided note-taking strategy. The findings suggest that this approach fosters improved listening skills through structured, easily applied steps.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran augmented reality terhadap hasil belajar IPAS, dikarenakan pendidik kurang memaksimalkan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi yang mana hal ini mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas V SDN Karanganyar, maka dari itu peneliti meneliti media augmented reality untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian Kuantitatif, dengan metode Pre Eksperimental Design, perencanaan yang digunakan “One Group Pretest-Posttest Design”. Adapun kelas yang dipilih adalah kelas VA. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, pemberian tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test). Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas tes tulis berbentuk soal pg untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS dan wawancara. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran augmented reality terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa, dibuktikan dengan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai df 25, thitung 13,182 > ttabel 1.708 dan signifikansinya 0,000 < 0,05 dengan keputusan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Selain itu, berdasarkan nilai hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai rerata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 32,5. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengeksplorasi penggunaan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran lainnya.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penggunaan media pembelajaran Baamboozle terhadap hasil belajar siswa padapembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan media pembelajaran Baamboozle. Untukmengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Baamboozle terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaranIPAS Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Sampelpenelitian ini terdiri dari 36 siswa diantaranya 16 siswa SD Negeri 1 Sakerta Timur dan 20 siswa SD Negeri 2 SakertaTimur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes sebanyak 10 soal berupa pilihan ganda (pg),dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Baamboozle dapat meningkatkan hasilbelajar siswa yang signifikan. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2. Tailed) hasil olah data dengan spss 25 forwindows sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat diambil Kesimpulan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapatPengaruh Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Baamboozle Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out what the mathematics learning outcomes of students in Class V of SDN 3 Purwawinangun are before and after using the Open Ended Learning Model. To find out whether there is an influence of using the Open Ended Learning Model on student learning outcomes in Class V SDN 3 Purwawinangun. The method in this research is Quantitative Experiment Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research population was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Purwawinangun, totaling 44 students. The sample was the VB class, totaling 23 students. The data collection technique uses ability tests on student learning outcomes in the form of a Pre-test and Post-test with 10 questions, observation and documentation. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it shows that learning using the Open Ended model has an influence on student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at SDN 3 Purwawinangun. This is proven by obtaining the Sig hypothesis results. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.005 then Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the application of the Open Ended learning model influences student learning outcomes at SDN 3 Purwawinangun

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh film animasi terhadap keterampilan menyimak siswa SD Negeri 1 Ciporang. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah media film animasi diterapkan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh film animasi terhadap pemahaman pendengaran siswa SD Negeri 1 Ciporang. Penelitian quasi eksperimen kuantitatif ini menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 62 siswa kelas II SD Negeri 1 Ciporang. Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 62 siswa kelas IIA dan B. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes awal dan akhir sebanyak enam soal, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media film animasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa jika diberikan cerita gajah dan semut. Uji statistik menunjukkan taraf signifikansi dua sisi sebesar 0,006, di bawah 0,05. Jika nilai signifikansi dua sisi lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media film animasi mempengaruhi keterampilan mendengar siswa.
