Abstract

This research discusses Islamic religious learning strategies for autistic class students at the Metro State Special School. This research focuses on how appropriate learning strategies can be delivered to autistic students, who have different ways of learning from children in general. This requires teachers to be given appropriate direction and strategies in delivering Islamic religious lessons, which is currently only done once a week by their respective homeroom teachers. Application of learning is an activity carried out by SLB teachers using appropriate methods and utilizing various media for students, with the aim of achieving learning objectives. Islamic religious lessons for autistic students require a special approach so that they can be well received. Emotional approach and demonstration method are some of the effective strategies. Apart from that, religious activities are held on religious holidays, such as daily prayer reading competitions and short letters between students. The aim of this research is to find out how effective Islamic learning strategies are for autistic students, so that the messages conveyed by teachers can be well received by them.

Abstract

In empowering the people's economy through providing inclusive and sharia-based financial access. Islamic microfinance institutions, namely credit cooperatives, which aim to provide financial services in accordance with sharia principles to their members. One of the theories underlying the regulation of Islamic microfinance institutions towards credit cooperatives based on Islamic principles is that Islamic finance must follow Islamic principles in every aspect of its operations, including the prohibition of usury, gharar, and maysir, as well as an emphasis on fairness, sustainability, and economic empowerment. The problem of different understanding and interpretation of sharia principles is a challenge in the implementation of this law. In addition, compliance with and supervision of sharia principles is also a problem because it requires deep understanding and effective oversight mechanisms. The purpose of the regulation of Islamic microfinance institutions for credit cooperatives based on sharia principles is to create financial institutions that can provide financial services in accordance with sharia principles to their members. This includes empowering the people's economy, creating a fair and sustainable financial system, and providing more inclusive financial alternatives for the community. Keywords: Economic empowerment, sharia principles, compliance, supervision, regulation

Abstract

This article aims to examine the transformation of fatwas of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI) regarding brokerage services in the perspective of living fatwa. The main issue raised is the weak binding power of religious fatwas in the realm of positive law, which often causes fatwas to be ignored in the public policy-making process. However, DSN-MUI fatwas related to brokerage services have proven to make a significant contribution in inspiring the formation of legal norms contained in legislation in the banking sector and financial transactions in Indonesia. Therefore, the focus of this article is directed at the study of fatwas on brokerage services as a representation of normative-religious norms in banking practices and financial transactions. Thus, it complements other studies on living fatwas. This article examines how fatwas on brokerage services have been transformed into a living norm in the Indonesian regulatory context, and identifies the main characteristics underlying this transformation. This research is a literature review with a living fatwa approach. The results show that the transformation of Islamic norms in the form of fatwas on brokerage services has a strategic role in influencing the birth of regulations that integrate sharia principles into the national legal system, especially in the field of transactions and finance. The laws and regulations governing brokerage services in Indonesia can be understood as a form of “institutionalization” of the norms previously formulated through the DSN-MUI fatwa. This article argues that these fatwas perform two main functions: first, as a reinforcement of state policy for the public good (ta'yidi); and second, as a normative source in the formulation and making of public policy (insya'i). Furthermore, DSN-MUI fatwas that have undergone transformation into the national legal system in a living perspective display characteristics that are implementative, visionary, scientific, and responsive to social dynamics (dynamic movement).

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Islamic banks in Indonesia implement digital transformation in mobile banking services while maintaining Shariah compliance, identify factors influencing the effectiveness of digital Shariah governance, and explore customers’ perceptions and experiences of these services. This research employs a qualitative method using a case study and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña framework. The findings reveal that Islamic banks have adopted technologies such as AI, blockchain, smart contracts, and automated Shariah notification features. However, digitalization still faces challenges, including limited technological competence among Sharia Supervisory Board members, insufficient development of digital Shariah governance frameworks, and the lack of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah integration into digital product design. Customer perceptions indicate generally positive experiences regarding convenience and security, although understanding of Shariah principles within mobile applications remains limited. This study highlights the importance of value-based digital transformation that prioritizes not only technological efficiency but also strengthens Shariah compliance and customer trust.
