Abstract

Early marriage is a marriage where the age of the spouse is under the stipulation of 19 years. Early marriage is caused by several factors, including education, customs, and culture. Early marriage has a very important negative impact on teenagers and parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of early marriage on pregnancy. This type of research is observational with a descriptive research design. The population of this study was 26 women who married early at the age of 15-19 years. The research sample is as many as 26 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. This research was conducted from August 20, 2021, to September 7, 2021. Data collection used a questionnaire and an MCH handbook. The results of univariate data analysis showed that most of the respondents experienced hyperemesis as many as 10 respondents (38.5%), 11 respondents (42.3%) experienced anemia, and as many as 5 respondents (19.2%) experienced abortions. This shows that women who marry at an early age are at risk of having a negative pregnancy.

Abstract

Female circumcision is the act of removing the tip of the clitoral hood or the labia minora and Majora. Female circumcision in Indonesia is generally based on community customs and beliefs. The study aimed to examine how mothers perceive the circumcision of girls in the village of Prigel in Lamongan Her Regency, Glagar District. The study design uses descriptive methods with qualitative data. The variable in this study was maternal perceptions of female circumcision. The study was conducted on 40 mothers with daughters aged 0-5 years and used a targeted sampling technique to obtain a sample of 36 respondents. The tool used in this study is a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed in percentage form. We found that 24 respondents (67%) had very high awareness and 12 respondents (33%) had high awareness. The number of mothers whose daughters were uncircumcised was 22 respondents (61%), and the number of mothers whose children had female circumcision was 14 respondents (39%). The practice of female circumcision is usually performed on children aged 0 days to 5 years and even older. It is still practiced because it is affected by religious and cultural factors so mothers cannot refuse and ask their children to practice female circumcision. is very dangerous to the reproductive health of girls, as it can cause infections and disease disorders and can cause sexual problems as adults.

Abstract

Stunting is a toddler who experiences malnutrition in the first 1000 days of life, especially in the first 1000 days of life. The causes of stunting are poor parenting practices, lack of access to food, clean water, sanitation, knowledge of nutritional status and low levels of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of education and knowledge of nutritional status with the incidence of stunting in Banjasrsari Wetan Village, Merchandise District, Madiun Regency.   This research uses analytic research design cross sectional. The variables of this study were education level and knowledge of nutritional status. The population of this study were all mothers who had toddlers as many as 210 respondents, using a sample of 136 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. data were processed using the chi-square statistical test. The time of the research was carried out July 09 - July 22, 2022 at the Posyandu, Banjasrsari Wetan Village, Dagangan District, Madiun Regency.  The results showed that most of the respondents (72.7%) who had elementary and junior high school education experienced stunting in their children, almost all of the respondents (90.6%) who had a low level of knowledge about nutritional status experienced stunting in their children, and a small portion of the respondents (25.0%) experienced stunting. The results of the analysis show a p value 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there is a relationship between the level of education and knowledge of nutritional status with the incidence of stunting in Banjasari Wetan Village,Dagangan District, Madiun Regency, with a strong correlation (correlation coefficient -0.665 and -0.691).

Abstract

In 2022, the K4 coverage of Bunga Merpati Clinic was 29.20%, a decrease of 25.3% compared to the K4 coverage in 2021 (54.5%). Total integrated ANC visits at Bunga Merpati clinic in 2022 decreased by 4.31% from 2021. This is due to an unfavorable perception that reduces the interest of pregnant women for repeat visits. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between pregnant women's perception of integrated ANC service quality with interest in repeat visits at Bunga Merpati Clinic in Palu. This research is quantitative research that uses a correlational research design with a cross sectional approach. The study population was 452 pregnant women. Sampling using probability simple random sampling technique. The sample number was 83 people. The research time is August 15 to 31, 2023. It consists of two variables, namely the independent variable (pregnant women's perception of the quality of integrated ANC services) and the dependent variable (interest in repeat visits). Data collection using questionnaires. Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test, with a meaning level of α = 5%. The results showed a relationship between pregnant women's perception of the quality of integrated ANC services with interest in repeat visits at Bunga Merpati Clinic in Palu city (p value = 0.001 or < 0.05). So based on the results of this study it can be concluded, that the better the perception of pregnant women will increase the interest of pregnant women for repeat visits.

Abstract

Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a multipurpose plant. Moringa can grow in lowlands and highlands up to 1,000 meters above sea level (m pl). The distribution of moringa spreads from Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, and West Nusa Tenggara. The fairly high iron content in moringa leaves makes it believed to help prevent anemia. It can help relieve infections caused by bacteria. It can help increase antioxidant levels in women who have gone through menopause. Good for children who are malnourished and stunted. This community service activity was carried out by holding a cooking class. Participants in this activity were 27 people consisting of 15 pregnant women and 12 mothers of toddlers. Activities include socialization, education, demonstrations, demonstrations, and distribution of moringa plant seeds. The activity was carried out on May 30, 2023. The location of the activity was at the Minggiran village hall, Papar district, Kediri district. The menu of dishes demonstrated were moringa vegetables, moringa jelly milk, and pudding. Based on the socialization carried out, it is known that moringa leaves are plants that are known in the Kediri area. Many moringa plants grow wild or are planted in the yard area of ​​the house. A total of 12 pregnant women and mothers of toddlers have moringa plants in their homes. However, they do not yet know that the nutritional content of moringa leaves is useful for preventing and treating stunting and anemia. They only know that moringa leaves are consumed in the form of vegetables. They have never tried to process moringa leaves in different ways to produce a variety of more varied food. Variations in the moringa leaf are needed so that toddlers and pregnant women have more appetite for consuming the moringa leaf. In this cooking class activity for mothers of toddlers and pregnant women, innovation and creativity in processing moringa leaves into various menus for food, drinks, and snacks are demonstrated. will make it easier for pregnant women and children to accept and consume moringa leaves. So that mothers can cook various moringa leaf menus that are beneficial for babies and pregnant women

Abstract

Sectio caesarea is the birth of a fetus through an incision made in the abdominal wall and uterus, after the delivery procedure, many mothers complain about their condition, ranging from post-operative pain, difficulty in mobilizing and fulfilling personal needs, and the demands of mothers in caring for their babies, therefore, it is hoped that there will be innovations that can help the recovery process of post-cesarean section patients so that they can recover faster, Currently, the CS method of delivery is known with the concept of ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Section) which is a more comfortable operation process because there is less pain and the recovery process after surgery is faster than conventional CS. This study aims to determine the effect of sectio caesarea eracs method on early mobilization in mothers giving birth at Hermina Hospital Balikpapan. The research method used is analytical observational using a cross-sectional approach, this study is a type of research that only measures observation data of research subjects once at one time, the type of sample used is Total Sampling, data collection using observation sheets, with analytical tests using the Wilcoxon Sigh Rank Test. The results of the study obtained are the effect of Sectio Caesaria ERACS Method on Early Mobilization in Women Giving Birth at Hermina Hospital Balikpapan, it can be seen that the results of the statistical test value Asym. Si.g (2-tailed) is 0.096 which means p <0.096 (p = 0.05), which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Sectio Caesaria ERACS Method on Early Mobilization in Women Giving Birth at Hermina Hospital. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the effect of Sectio Caesaria ERACS Method on Early Mobilization in Women Giving Birth at Hermina Hospital Balikpapan is effective in the speed of patients to carry out early mobilization and shorten the length of care.

Abstract

Toddlerhood is an important age in a child's physical growth and development. Therefore, this is a period where there is a very rapid growth and development process, so that toddlers need adequate nutritional intake. The condition of nutritional adequacy has a significant impact on sustainable health conditions in the future. Thus, the aim of this research is to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about balanced nutrition and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 2 4-60 months in PMB Sri Wahyuningsih, Karangwinongan Village, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency.This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. Independent variable: mother's knowledge about balanced nutrition, dependent variable: stunting. The population of all toddlers aged 24-60 months in Sri Wahyuningsih Private Midwifery Practice , Karangwinongan Village, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency is 270 toddlers, with the sampling technique: simple random sampling, a sample of 161 toddlers was obtained. The measuring instruments used were questionnaires and observations, the results of which were analyzed using the chi square statistical test with a significant standard (α=0.05. The research results showed that almost all respondents' maternal knowledge about balanced nutrition was in the good category (78.5%), and almost all of the respondents' incidence of stunting was in the normal category (70.8%). Based on the chi square statistical test, it was found that the p-value was (0.000) < (α = 0.05), so H1 was accepted, which means that there was a significant relationship between respondents' knowledge about balanced nutrition and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-60 months. Good knowledge about balanced nutrition has a high probability that there will be no risk of stunting in toddlers, and conversely, good knowledge about balanced nutrition has a high probability that there will be no risk of stunting in toddlers.
