Abstract

Klein-4 or Klein-V group is a group with four elements including identity. The binary operation on Klein-4 group will produce identitiy if operated to it self and produce another non-identity element if operated to another non-identity element. The focus of this paper is to explain the principle of Klein-4 group on Domino card and also find all complete possible elements. Domino card is a set of 28 cards which the surface of each card divided in two identic boxes contain combination of dots as pattern. The final part of this research is to find out all possible combination of cards which can be used as elements of a Klein-4 groups.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence of interpersonal intelligence on mathematics learning achievement. This research was conducted at Strada Mardi Utama 1 Middle School, Jakarta in 2015. The method used was a quantitative-survey method. The samples used were 84 grade VIII students of SMP Strada Mardi Utama 1 Jakarta taken by random sampling or simple random sampling from two classes. Data analysis was performed using the correlation test, regression test, and ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of interpersonal intelligence on the mathematics achievement of Grade VIII students of SMP Strada Mardi Utama 1 Jakarta.

Abstract

Sipituhuta Village is one of the villages in Pollung District which has commodities in the agricultural sector. In 2016 a farmer group called the Maduma Tani Group was established as a means for sustainable agriculture to increase income. This farmer group provides farming tools that can be borrowed by farmers. However, the lack of information about the availability of farming tools and education on agricultural processing causes the process of borrowing tools and seeking agricultural processing education is still manual. The use of the website is one of the solutions in the field of information technology that helps increase farmers' knowledge in solving agricultural problems they face and borrowing farming tools in Sipituhuta Village. The development of this website uses the prototyping method, where this method is very suitable for building small-scale and customized websites that are created based on certain requests and needs. Website development using the PHP programming language, Laravel framework, and MySQL Database Management System (DBMS). Some of the features that have been successfully developed include lending tools, viewing history of tool lending, viewing education, viewing farming projects, viewing notifications. The result of this activity is that farmers in Sipituhuta Village can easily find information about agriculture and borrow farming tools. Website testing is done using the black box method. The test results show that the website that was built has been successfully running according to its function.

Abstract

Difficulty learning mathematics is a problem that often occurs, and this condition is considered to give a stigma that mathematics is a difficult subject. Various learning theories and approaches have been used, including recognizing, and exploring students' potential to find out whether there is other potential that can support their ability to understand mathematics, such as the ability to understand and evaluate oneself, also known as intrapersonal intelligence. This research aims to measure the influence of students' intrapersonal intelligence on their mathematics learning achievement by distributing questionnaires to measure their intrapersonal intelligence, as well as students' report cards as a representation of their mathematics learning achievement. In this study, the researcher used quantitative methods and found a positive and significant influence between intrapersonal intelligence on mathematics learning achievement on a strong scale.

Abstract

Studi ini membandingkan kemampuan dari metode regresi logistik dan random forest dalam melakukan klasifikasi fitur mode. Fitur mode ini merupakan fitur yang terdapat di dalam data fitur audio. Secara keseluruhan, data ini berisikan data dari musik atau lagu yang dirilis di platform Spotify yang di dalamnya terdapat berbagai fitur dari masing-masing musik. Dalam melakukan studi ini, metode regresi logistik dan metode random forest ini diterapkan dalam bahasa pemrograman Python. Setelah dilakukannya studi ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode random forest dapat melakukan klasifikasi yang lebih baik walaupun dengan selisih yang cukup dekat. Karena kedua metode ini adalah metode yang baik dalam melakukan klasifikasi. Fitur penting yang ditampilkan oleh random forest juga memberikan hasil yang lebih memuaskan, karena fitur yang dihasilkan memang fitur yang berkaitan dengan fitur mode dan sesuai dengan teori musik.

Abstract

As a type of simple group in mathematics, the concept of the Klein-4 group finds applications in various fields such as biology, 2D materials, games, and more. This research combines the idea of the Klein-4 group with the rules of domino cards to create a binary operation. This binary operation serves as the encryption key, and its inverse serves as the decryption key. The comprehensive process in this study represents a novel application of the Klein-4 group in cryptography. By leveraging the structural properties of the Klein-4 group, this method introduces a unique approach to securing information. The combination of group theory and modular forms in this study enhances the complexity of the encryption and decryption processes, making it more difficult for unauthorized parties to access or interpret the data. As a result, the security of the data is significantly improved. The encryption algorithm is not only efficient but also resistant to common cryptographic attacks. This study demonstrates the potential of abstract algebraic concepts in developing practical solutions for modern-day cryptographic challenges. The research methods and proposed hypotheses in this study have been validated through the proof of the given theorems. However, this study limits the data to alphabet. Researchers interested in the field of cryptography can further develop this idea to apply cryptographic processes to other types of data.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian melalui kerjasama dan kolaborasi dibangun dan direalisasikan dalam bentuk kegiatan Olimpiade Biologi yang diselenggarakan oleh Institut Teknologi Del tahun 2022. Kegiatan olimpiade biologi untuk tingkat SMA/SMK ini difasilitasi oleh UPT Sains dan Matematika, Institut Teknologi Del, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sains khususnya bidang biologi melalui penumbuhkembangan budaya belajar, kreativitas, sikap disiplin, kerja keras untuk menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dan motivasi meraih prestasi terbaik melalui kompetisi yang sehat serta menjunjung nilai-nilai sportivitas. Selain itu juga untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan bangsa dan kesadaran ilmiah untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda dalam menghadapi masa yang akan datang. Pada pelaksanakan kegiatan ini peserta yang telah mendaftarkan diri untuk ikut dalam tahap awal olimpiade biologi sebanyak 65 siswa yang berasal dari 27 sekolah SMA/SMK dimana babak final diikuti oleh 38 siswa yang keseluruhan berasal dari 12 sekolah. Pada kegiatan ini piala bergilir diberikan kepada sekolah yang meraih gelar juara umum yaitu SMA Unggul Del.
