Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis dalam memecahkan masalah listrik magnet, mahasiswa akan mengungkapkan karakteristik listrik magnet. Topik listrik magnet tergolong konsep yang abstrak dan teoritis berupa matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematik mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah fisika pada perkuliahan listrik magnet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskripsi kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika UNNES. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan soal pada mahasiswa yang sebelumnya telah mendapatkan materi garis medan dan hukum Gauss pada mata kuliah listrik magnet. Hasil analisis data berdasarkan langkah-langkah hasil pekerjaan mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematik dalam memecahkan masalah fisika pada perkuliahan listrik magnet pada kategori tinggi dengan jumlah paling sedikit yaitu sebesar 9%, selanjutnya kategori sedang dengan jumlah mahasiswa paling banyak yaitu sebesar 75%, dan kategori rendah yaitu sebesar 16%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' multi-representation ability in solving physics evaluation questions carried out by the qualitative description method in class X MIA 1 SMA Katolik St. Gabriel Maumere for the 2019/2020 school year. The data were obtained from the matter of physics evaluation on Newton's law material about the force of gravity. Data analysis is based on student work steps in solving evaluation questions. Data analysis results show that the ability of multi-representation in solving physics problems on Newton's law material about the force of gravity in the high category. The number of mathematical representations of 100%, image representation of 10%, then in the medium type only uses a mathematical description of 100% and in the low category using a mathematical representation of 100% and a verbal representation of 40%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the students' multi representation abilities in solving descriptive questions on straight motion material. This was qualitative research with an analytic descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were three physics teachers and twenty-five students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Maumere. The data used in this study were evaluation questions, physical evaluation scores, student worksheets on evaluation questions and interview results. The data collection techniques used in this study were as follows: Documentation and in-depth interviews. For qualitative research data to be accounted for as scientific research, In this study, using triangulation techniques, checking data to the same source with different techniques, namely the results of observations, students' answers, and in-depth interviews. Data analysis techniques used in this study were grounded theory. The steps of grounded theory were: creating categories for the information obtained (open coding), selecting one of the categories and placing it in a theoretical model (axial coding), and then compiling a story of the relationship between these categories (selective coding). The results showed that students tend to use the same representation, such as verbal 12.5%, mathematical 87.5%, while graphics and pictures were 0%. For each category, students: (a) in the low category received a mathematical representation score of 73.81% and verbal representation was 83.3%, (b) in the moderate category received a verbal representation score of 85% and mathematically 83.06% (c) in the high category obtained a verbal representation score of 83.3% and mathematics 90.47%.

Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi inti pelajaran fisika adalah siswa diharapkan memiliki kemampuan memahami konsep fisika, menjelaskan keterkaitan antarkonsep dan mengaplikasikan konsep secara luwes, akurat, efisien, dan tepat, dalam memecahkan masalah. Terdapat banyak siswa yang setelah belajar fisika, tidak mampu memahami bahkan pada bagian yang paling sederhana sekalipun, banyak konsep yang dipahami secara keliru sehingga fisika dianggap sebagai ilmu yang sukar, ruwet, dan sulit. Pemahaman konsep merupakan bagian yang paling penting dalam pembelajaran fisika salah satunya pada materi hukum I Newton, peningkatan pemahaman konsep hukum I Newton perlu diupayakan demi keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan.untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep hukum I Newton. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah metode studi pustaka yang diperoleh dari literatur-literatur terkait seperti buku-buku pelajaran fisika, jurnal ilmiah, dan artikel-artikel di media internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep hukum I Newton mengalami miskonsepsi dalam menganalisis hubungan antara massa, gaya dan gerak benda. Untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa ini menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif dan pembelajaran bermakna yang dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam mencari hubungan antara pengetahuan yang ada sebelumnya dan pengetahuan baru, salah satunya menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan booklet dan penggunaan media pembelajaran pada materi hukum I Newton dalam kegiatan pembelajaran efektif mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep hokum I Newton.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the potential for landslides in the Ayudia housing location, Semarang. The data obtained in this study were apparent resistivity data using the geoelectric resistivity method of the Schlumberger configuration. Measurements were carried out on two tracks, namely the first track with a stretch length of 150 m and electrode spacing of 10 m and the second track with a stretch length of 75 m and electrode spacing of 5 m. Res2dinv software was used to display the resistivity value on each track so that a color image is seen that describes the change in resistivity in each rock layer. The results of the study indicated the identification of the location of the slip plane on the first track with a layer that is suspected to be the slip plane, namely limestone with resistivity values (307-939) Ωm and is at a depth of (19,9-26.9) m. This layer had a higher resistivity contrast than the top layer of the slip plane in the form of sandstone which can store water content. Thus, it could be concluded that the first track identified the potential for landslides to occur.

Abstract

Physics is a science that studies natural phenomena and their interactions, so that science skills are needed in its learning. These science skills can be developed using appropriate learning methods. This research was conducted to determine the application of the inquiry learning model with mind mapping to improve students' understanding of physics concepts. This research is an experimental research type of pre-experimental one group Pretest-Posttest. Data were taken using test and interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that learning using the inquiry method with mind mapping can improve students' understanding of physics concepts. Physical learning is not boring and fun because students are actively involved in the learning process.

Abstract

The main issues that were examined in this study is the modulus of elasticity bamboo betung with variable length. The purpose of this study was to measure the modulus of elasticity on bamboo betung with variable. Modulus of elasticity in bamboo shows the flexibility for using in a various fields. In this study the bamboo is made into small girders with a uniform thickness and width are respectively 0.8cm and 1.5cm. The length of the bamboo that is used in this study are the 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90 cm, 100cm. To determine the elasticity of the bamboo it is provided with a load in the middle position. From the research results obtained showing the longer bamboo the greater flexibility gained linearly elastic modulus is 1.0122E+10N/m2. Keywords: bamboo, girder, modulus of elasticity.

Abstract

One potential area that have encountered in Indonesian society is brown sugar. There are various types of sugar including coconout sugar, palm sugar, ants sugar and others. Another interesting thing is examined in this study relates to the mechanical properties of palm sugar that is the compressive strength of the palm sugar. Palm sugar is made from sugar palm sap heating on volume of 600ml with a variation of the time is 26 minutes, 27 minutes, 28 minutes, 29 minutes and 30 minutes. The mechanical properties studied were compressive strength of palm sugar. These parameters were measured to determine the maximum size of an acceptable burden the palm sugar. The compressive strength of the palm sugar palm juice on the heating time 30 minutes, namely: 0.115218MPa. From the research results obtained showing a variable effect on the mechanical properties of palm sugar because the longer the heating time, the greater compressive strength. Palm sugar compressive strength of the observed increasing with time is lengthened. Keywords: palm concentrate, palm sugar, compressive strength, the heating time.

Abstract

Teachers in Sikka Regency contributed to the Driving Teacher Education Program Batch 4 according to the mandate of the Minister of Education and Culture in the Freedom to Learn Policy Episode 5. As teachers at LPTK we capture ideas and opportunities in following the dynamics of efforts to develop teacher competency so that it becomes a reflection in the learning process that liberates for graduates can become driving teachers. This study aims to analyze the ability of the driving teacher in leading learning that liberates students. This research was conducted using a field survey which was supplemented by questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation as a method of data collection. Data analysis uses data reduction, data triangulation, and data synthesis to parse conclusions. The results of the study show that prospective teacher mobilizers are able to lead learning in the process of driving teachers edication program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Inquiry pada materi pengukuran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Talibura. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 2 Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pra siklus ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 71,42% kriteria cukup, pada siklus I mencapai 78,57% kriteria cukup dengan rata-rata nilai 68,57, dan pada siklus II mencapai 96,42% kriteria baik sekali dengan rata-rata nilai 84,82. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIA 2 telah melebihi indikator pencapaian persentase ketuntasan klasikal yang memenuhi nilai KKM sebesar 80%. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIA 2 pada materi pengukuran.Kata Kunci: Inquiry; Hasil Belajar; PengukuranImplementation of the Inquiry Learning Model on Measurement to Improve Students' Learning OutcomesABSTRACTThis study aimed to improve the learning outcomes of class X students by applying the inquiry learning model to measurement. The research method used was classroom action research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Talibura. The subjects of this study were 28 class X MIA 2 students for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and observation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative. The results showed that in the pre-cycle completeness of student learning outcomes reached 71.42% sufficient criteria, in cycle I, it reached 78.57% sufficient criteria with an average value of 68.57, and in cycle II, it reached 96.42% very good criteria with an average value of 84,82. This showed that the learning outcomes of class X MIA 2 students had exceeded the indicator of achieving the percentage of classical completeness that meets the KKM value of 80%. Thus, the implementation of the Inquiry learning model could improve the learning outcomes of class X MIA 2 students on measurement.
