Abstract

Flexing becomes a phenomenon that threatens the morality of the younger generation of Christians in this disruption era. The question that then arises is, this is just a common phenomenon, or is it the form of failure of Christian parents to shape the child's personality? In Christian education in the family sphere, learning is emphasized on developing the potential of spiritual intelli-gence (psychiatric or spiritual and inner). The family is the right place for the growth of awareness of the beginning of the purpose and existence of life. It is the responsibility of the family to ensure that a child develops and grows into a good adult human being and can take care of himself, and not depend on others. The formation of personality at an early age is something that must be fulfilled and cannot be delayed. It is said that approximately 85% of basic human personalities are formed at the age of 0-6 years, and the rest are just polishing. This study aims to prove how much influence character cultivation by parents has on the potential flexing in children. The approach used in this study is quantitative, with a sample of 100 children. The results of data collection are analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 23.0. The results of the study proved that the cultivation of personality by parents affected the flexing potential of children by 69%, while 31% was influenced by other factors. Further findings in this study, the formation of behavior in a planned, systematic, and targeted manner was shown to be able to reduce the potential for flexing by 73% in children. As a contribution to this study, it is recommended to parents instill humility, meek, patience, love, and peace in children from an early age. This has been shown to be able to ward off flexing which is a negative effect of the disruption era.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada msyarrakat sebagai bagian dari Tri dharma perguruan tinggi menjadi program tetap yang dilaksanakan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Penyuluh Agama. Dalam kesempatan ini sesuai dengan roadmap pengabdian kepada msyarakat yang dimiliki oleh prodi, memilih tema terkait teknik penyuluhan. Siswa SMK Swasta Parsaoran Huta Tinggi dipilih sebagai mitra prodi untuk bisa bersinergi dalam membangun insan cerdas dan bermoral. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan para siswa menjadi semakin dikuatkan untuk menjadi generasi masa depan bangsa yang bermoral baik, berkarakter baik dan menjalani kehidupan sebagai siswa Kristen yang menjawab tantangan zaman ini dengan cara yang benar. Bahkan prodi Pendidikan Penyuluh Agama hadir di masyarkat untuk memberikan sumbangsih berupa kegiatan PkM yang menyentuh bidang pendidikan di masayrakat. Pemaparan dan praktik pembuatan kolase yang bertema: Sekolahku tempat moralku dibentuk, menjadi langkah nyata prodi untuk berpartisipasi.

Abstract

Hal yang melatar belakangi riset ini adalah keperdulian penulis terhadap pelayanan lansia, dimana penulis berharap para penyuluh Agama Kristen dapat membangun komunikasi dan sinergi dengan gereja melalui beberapa program yang menjawab kebutuhan lansia. Siapakh lansia? Lansia adalah mereka yang sudah memasuki usia enam puluh tahun ke atas, dan telah mengalami berbagai perubahan secara fisik seperti menurunnya kekuatan fisik, menurunnya kesehatan, menurunnya kemampuan alat indera dan berbagai keterbatasan lainnya. Apakah yang menjadi pergumulan lansia dan bagaimana penyuluh bisa hadir dengan cara bersinergi dengan gereja untuk memberikan layanan terbaik bagi para lansia yang juga merupakan sasaran kasih Allah di tengah masyarakat. Penyuluh agama Kristen bisa hadir dan menjadi berkat bagi para lansia melalui program-program yang menjawab kebutuhan mereka. Berbagai persoalan yang dihadapi oleh lansia sehubungan dengan usia dan kondisi fisik mereka memerlukan layanan. Penyuluhan sebagai bagian dari pelayanan Kristen bisa dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi bagi para lansia bahwa mereka berharga dan masih bisa melakukan banyak hal di usia mereka yang renta. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustkaan penulis memperkaya kajian dengan berbagai sumber primer. Lansia sebagai bagian dari kelompok binaan dan bagian dari umat Allah masih bisa berkarya di usia tua mereka sekalipun dengan cara saling melayani sesama lansia dan mendorong mereka untuk menjadi teladan bagi orang-orang muda melalui kehidupan nyata.

Abstract

This research was conducted after observing current families who are facing many challenges and threats from various things that threaten family resilience. There is a negative trend that becomes the umrah hall in society where the family experiences separation, chaos, deviation, and damage so that they are no longer able to contribute positively to society. Families need strengthening, especially through Christian religious education. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze extension services through pedagogical services provided to the target community. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to provide an explanation of the first things to discover and explain the issue of sexual deviation as part of a Bible study. Second, to find and explain the factors that cause sexual deviation in society even though Allah only created men and women. This research is motivated by the author's concern with a phenomenon that exists in society, namely LGBT issues as something that is trending. Using qualitative methods in the form of interviews and literature studies, it was found that the family is the main person responsible for anticipating deviant sexual behavior in children. Parents are role models in spirituality who must instill the fear of God in their children, so that children find the correct self-image as God's creation, namely boys and girls. Families also need to provide proper education and encourage children to become future generations who make achievements and are proud of being children. The Bible must be the basic reference for spiritual education in the family. Keywords: family education, sexual deviation.

Abstract

Alkitab menjadi acuan dalam kehidupan Kristiani. Hamba Tuhan yang menjadi pemimpin jemaat maupun jemaat itu sendiri semestinya menyelaraskan kehidupan mereka dengan kebenaran Alkitan. Umat Allah baik di masa Perjanjian Lama maupun di masa Perjanjian Baru sudah sewajarnya mempercayai Allah yang memberi firman-Nya. Ezra sebagai hamba Allah sudah menunjukkan kualitas dirinya sebagai hamba Tuhan yang memimpin jemaat dan mendidik jemaat untuk hidup seperti yang seharusnya. Kekayaan firman Allah tidak pernah habis untuk digali dan dalam kajian ini didapati bahwa prinsip-prinsip pendidikan dalam kitab ezra ini masih tetap relevan diterapkan dalam kehidupan berjemaat saat ini. Prinsip yang bias dipakai untuk membina warga gereja agar mereka bias menjadi murid yang sesunguhnya.

Abstract

The teacher is the central figure in the implementation of Christian Religious Education in schools. The Bible contains a lot of information related to the implementation of teaching activities, where Jesus is the main figure in the education sector with many teachings conveyed to the people both in the synagogue and in various other places. And specifically, this research focuses on the text of Matthew 18:6-11, by selecting the variable role of Christian Religious Education teachers and their relationship with the efforts made by Christian religious teachers to guide the spirituality of students being taught and the research location is in SMA Negeri 1 Kotapinang. This research is motivated by the situation and the presence of students in the research location which is still far from expectations. Through mixed research methods, this research was carried out by studying the exegesis of the text of Matthew 18:6-11 and its implementation in the school was followed by quantitative research procedures on research respondents. Abstract

In reality, Christianity has experienced a long history and has been faced with various false teachings or heresies throughout the history of the church. This is the case at the moment. One issue that remains hot to discuss is Christology and Soteriology. In this study the author tries to conduct a study of the teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses related to these two topics, and through library research, it is hoped that the research formulation can be answered. The author takes part to make this contribution, by conducting a study of the challenges faced by systematic theology today, namely from the Jehovah's Witness school. By adhering to the truth of the Bible and the right approach in the science of commentary or hermeneutics, the author is sure to be able to deliver relevant presentations for readers who also take part in theological studies. Truth must be held fast and faithfully taught. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of the elderly to carry out God's word in teaching the Christian Religious Education they receive. How can they carry out the teaching they receive given their age and decline in abilities? In this case the Christian Religious Education they receive is very important, by using qualitative methods with a library research approach or a literature study approach. Literature study is carried out by looking for various sources related to the topic being discussed. Elderly is someone who is said to be elderly who has reached the age of 60 years and over. Elderly adulthood is the final adult stage of human life. In this case Christian Religious Education practitioners must be able to serve the elderly in developing their behaviour, so that through teaching Christian religious education the elderly can become doers of the Word.   Keywords: Elderly; Doers of the Word; Christian Education.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan perihal kemampuan para lansia untuk melakukan firman Allah dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang mereka terima. Bagaimana mereka bisa melaksanakan pengajaran yang mereka terima mengingat mereka sudah lanjut usia dan menurun dalam berbagai kemampuan? Dalam hal ini Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang mereka terima sangatlah penting, Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research atau pendekatan studi literatur. Studi kepustakaan dilakukan dengan mencari berbagai sumber-sumber yang terkait dengan topik yang dibahas. Lansia adalah seseorang yang dikatakan lanjut usia yang berumur telah mencapai usia 60 tahun ke atas. Dewasa lanjut usia merupakan tahap dewasa akhir hidup manusia. Dalam hal ini praktisi Pendidikan Agama Kristen seharusnya mampu melayani para lansia dalam mengembangkan perilaku mereka, sehingga melalui pengajaran pendiidkan agama Kristen itu para lansia bisa menjadi pelaku Firman.   Kata Kunci: Lansia; Pelaku Firman; Pendidikan Kristen.
