Abstract

Marine pollution in the water triggers many problems, one of them is in the area of Tunda Island, Banten, Indonesia. Waste pollution that occurs in the area occurs due to oil drilling activities conducted by Pertamina. As result, such drilling waste pollutes the environment of Tunda Island. The distance between residential areas and oil rigs is about 18 to 20 miles, which will take 2 hours to complete. As a result of the waste, many octopuses on Tunda Island were found drunk and dead. It will be more dangerous if the waste sticks to mangrove seedlings, in mangrove trunks and in seagrass beds, when exposed to sunlight it will melt because the gravel waste is pitch black and can burn. As the world's largest island nation, 60% of Indonesia's 265 million people depend on one-system waters. Toxic chemicals enter the oceans every day from industrial waste. This problem can lead to the risk of flood impacts for the environment affected by industrial waste pollution. Marine cleanliness plays an important role in realizing the prosperity of land and marine ecosystems. Efforts can be made with bioremediation that is recovery with the help of live bacteria such as  Alcanivorax borkumensis  SK2  which is γ-proteobacterium of the sea that can be used to clean contaminated environments. This research aims to prevent industrial waste pollution and prevent the risk of flood impacts in Indonesia, especially in Tunda Island, Banten. Various literature explains that  A. borkumensis  SK2  is able to digest linear and branched alkanes commonly found in crude oil. Bacteria grow naturally in polluted areas, when added with inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus, they can accelerate the cleaning process to 2 -5 years faster than natural processes for 5 - 10 years. Therefore, the application of the use of  A. borkumensis  SK2  has the potential to be applied in Indonesia to overcome the problem of marine pollution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Instagram in strengthening the image of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era. The focus of this study is on the use of Instagram as a medium to build digital branding of Islamic boarding schools. Although many studies discuss the use of social media in education, this study offers a more in-depth approach to the strategy of using Instagram to improve the image of Islamic boarding schools. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, which allows researchers to dig up in-depth information about the strategy and impact of using Instagram. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with the head of the Islamic boarding school, Instagram account managers, students, and the community, as well as documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study indicate that Instagram is effective in presenting Islamic boarding school life, strengthening positive public perceptions, and increasing student registration. This study provides insight into the importance of implementing effective digital strategies for Islamic boarding schools so that they can be more adaptive to developments in information and communication technology and strengthen their image in the eyes of the public, especially the younger generation. Thus, Instagram can be an optimal tool to boost the image of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana kerjasama tim serta“lingkungan kerja memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Mie Gacoan, Cabang”Kraksaan. Dengan menggunakan metode asosiatif kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 31 responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 31. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai R Square sejumlah “0,505”, yang menunjukkan bahwa “50,5%” kinerja karyawan terpengaruhi oleh kerjasama tim dan lingkungan kerjanya, sementara “49,5%” lainnya terkait dengan berbagai faktor yang tidak ditelaah pada penelitian ini. Hasil uji-t mengunjukkan jika kerjasama tim tidak memengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara signifikan, dengan nilai sebesar “0,279” melebihi “0,05” serta nilai t sebesar “1,104” (di bawah t tabel “2,045”). Sebaliknya, lingkungan kerja menunjukkan dampak yang substansial kepada kinerja, terbuktikan menggunakan nilai t sebesar “0,036” lebih rendah daripada “0,05” serta nilai t sebesar “2,200” (di atas “2,045”). Lebih lanjut, uji F mengunjukkan jika kerjasama tim serta lingkungan kerja mempunyai dampak yang substansial kepada“kinerja karyawan”dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar “0,001” dimana lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan “0.05”, serta f hitung sejumlah “14,278” yang lebih besar daripada nilai F-tabel sebesar 3,33.

Abstract

This research analyzes the integration of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's educational theory into the Islamic education system at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo. Rousseau's theory, which emphasizes freedom, natural development, and respect for individual uniqueness, is considered relevant in strengthening the learning of the Koran and the formation of Islamic character. With a qualitative approach, this research explores the application of active learning, direct experience, and the development of students' potential in the context of Islamic values. The implementation of this theory will provide a more expansive space for intellectual exploration and increase in-depth understanding of Islamic teachings. The research results show that Rousseau's approach can support a relevant natural-based curriculum and strengthen the formation of Islamic character. Challenges arise in aligning modern educational concepts with traditional methods of Islamic education, but collaborative efforts are believed to be able to overcome these obstacles. The integration of Rousseau's theory creates a holistic foundation for Islamic education, enabling the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School to become an educational model that is adaptive to current developments.

Abstract

Social care is the attitude and behavior of a person or group of people to pay attention, respect, and assist those in need. It involves empathy, concern, and responsibility for the well-being of others. It is essential to form these values from an early age, especially in the younger generation, so that they can provide benefits to society in the future. This research aims to identify the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in increasing students' social awareness at MA Walisongo Gending, especially in fostering a caring attitude towards the surrounding environment and readiness to help other people in need, especially in the context of Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, and data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research confirms that the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is vital in forming students' social awareness. PAI teachers act as educators who teach social values in Islam and as learning resources that provide relevant and in-depth material. They are also role models in social behavior, providing tangible examples of doing good and caring for others. Apart from that, PAI teachers act as motivators who actively encourage students to participate in social activities. They encourage and support students to care about the surrounding environment and do good to others. As mentors and evaluators, PAI teachers provide direction and feedback on students' social activities, guiding them in planning, implementing, and evaluating their social activities.

Abstract

This research aims to explore ways to improve the reputation of education through mutual community relations, with a psychological approach as an analytical framework. The method used in this research is a qualitative study, which involves in-depth interviews with educational institution managers and community members, as well as content analysis of various community relations programs that have been implemented. The research results show that open and transparent communication, active involvement in social activities, and a deep understanding of community needs and aspirations can significantly improve the reputation of educational institutions. Additionally, this research found that psychological approaches, such as building trust and empathy, play an essential role in creating mutually beneficial relationships between academic institutions and society. The implications of this research emphasize the need to develop community relations strategies that are more integrated and responsive to social dynamics to strengthen educational institutions' positive image in the public's eyes.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of the concept of mutual public relations in character education at Nurul Jadid Middle School, focusing on the synergy between school and family. Mutual Public Relations, which involves the cooperation of two or more parties in building mutually supportive relationships, is applied in this context to strengthen student character formation through active collaboration between the school, parents, and foster carers. This research found that open communication and parental involvement in various school activities can strengthen character values such as discipline, responsibility, and empathy. In addition, the role of foster carers as a liaison between family and school has also been proven to increase the effectiveness of character education by providing consistent support and feedback. The synergy between these three parties creates a more holistic environment for students' moral development, where character values are taught at school and applied in daily life at home and in the dormitory. It is hoped that these findings can provide new insights for developing a more integrative and sustainable character education model through mutual public relations in other schools.

Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in improving character by adapting teaching methods to the student's cultural context. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study at PDF Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo, involving interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that applying Islamic religious education can train students to have good character. Family involvement also contributes significantly to students' academic achievement and social development. Overall, using Islamic religious education has great potential in improving the development of students' good character development. This approach not only meets academic needs but also considers the social and emotional aspects of the student learning experience, as well as positively contributing to diversity and preserving local culture.

Abstract

In-depth interviews and documentation data analysis, this research found that transparency in finances, delivery of daily activities, publication of achievements, and policy announcements are the main components in Islamic boarding school communication strategies. Communication media such as official websites, social media and printed reports synergistically convey information to various audiences. The research results show that open and targeted communication not only increases public trust but also strengthens the image of Islamic boarding schools as professional, responsible and competitive institutions. This research contributes by offering a communication model relevant for other educational institutions, although there are limitations in the context and research methods that require further exploration.
