Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with the head of the Islamic boarding school, Instagram account managers, students, and the community, as well as documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study indicate that Instagram is effective in presenting Islamic boarding school life, strengthening positive public perceptions, and increasing student registration. This study provides insight into the importance of implementing effective digital strategies for Islamic boarding schools so that they can be more adaptive to developments in information and communication technology and strengthen their image in the eyes of the public, especially the younger generation. Thus, Instagram can be an optimal tool to boost the image of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era.

Abstract

This research analyzes the integration of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's educational theory into the Islamic education system at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo. Rousseau's theory, which emphasizes freedom, natural development, and respect for individual uniqueness, is considered relevant in strengthening the learning of the Koran and the formation of Islamic character. With a qualitative approach, this research explores the application of active learning, direct experience, and the development of students' potential in the context of Islamic values. The implementation of this theory will provide a more expansive space for intellectual exploration and increase in-depth understanding of Islamic teachings. The research results show that Rousseau's approach can support a relevant natural-based curriculum and strengthen the formation of Islamic character. Challenges arise in aligning modern educational concepts with traditional methods of Islamic education, but collaborative efforts are believed to be able to overcome these obstacles. The integration of Rousseau's theory creates a holistic foundation for Islamic education, enabling the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School to become an educational model that is adaptive to current developments.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in improving Islamic moral values in the era of digitalization, especially in the environment of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Jadid. With the rapid development of digital technology, new challenges have emerged for educators, including PAI teachers, in delivering material that is relevant to the times. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that digitalization has a positive impact on PAI learning, especially through wider and faster access to information. This allows students to more easily acquire religious knowledge that is relevant to the context of the times. However, on the other hand, digitalization also poses challenges in the form of the spread of negative content that can affect student morals and behavior.  In this case, PAI plays an important role in guiding students to use technology wisely, by instilling strong Islamic moral values, and providing a proper understanding of the limitations in using technology. Through PAI learning based on Islamic values, students are expected to develop a positive and responsible attitude in utilizing technology in this digital era. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the strategic role of PAI in shaping the character of superior students in the midst of technological advances

Abstract

This research uses qualitative descriptive methods to explore the impact of digital transformation on changes in student behaviour at SMP Negeri 1 Besuk, Probolinggo Regency. This digital transformation in school learning includes using technology such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and other learning applications that influence learning patterns, social interactions, digital literacy, and students' psychological and emotional aspects. Data was collected through interviews and observations of students, teachers and other related parties. The research results show that digital technology has increased student independence in learning, although several challenges arise related to minimal supervision and withholding technology access. The impact on social interaction shows reduced face-to-face communication between students, while digital literacy has increased, although not evenly. Psychologically, students experience impacts in the form of anxiety and stress triggered by social pressure and excessive use of technology. Abstract

This study explores teacher work resilience within the framework of emotional management grounded in pesantren local wisdom at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed with the Miles & Huberman model. The findings reveal four key dimensions strengthening teachers’ resilience. First, individual emotional management is enhanced through self-awareness training, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques, enabling teachers to regulate emotions and foster conducive classroom environments. Second, pesantren values—such as dzikir, sholawat, and the exemplary guidance of kiai—nurture emotional stability, sincere motivation, and a religious work culture. Third, social and organizational support, reflected in halaqah, empathetic leadership, and the tradition of musyawarah, cultivates a harmonious work climate, reduces psychological burden, and reinforces solidarity. Fourth, professional competence development through problem-solving skills and proportional workload management improves both teaching quality and teacher well-being. This study concludes that teacher resilience in pesantren-based madrasahs emerges from the synergy of emotional management, local wisdom, social-organizational support, and professional competence. These findings provide theoretical contributions and practical implications for teacher development in faith-based educational institutions.
