Abstract

The increasing number of MSMEs in Indonesia creates even more competition among businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This difficult situation causes a decline in revenue and forces MSMEs in Indonesia to find strategies to survive. This study aims at helping an MSME in the shoe laundry industry called Suci Shoelab. This study employs qualitative and business coaching methods. The data were collected through interviews with the MSME owners and the employees as well as questionnaires given to customers. Several analytical methods, namely Business Model Canvas (BMC), Porter's Five Forces analysis, PESTEL analysis, Service Marketing Mix, SWOT analysis, TOWS analysis, Gap analysis, and Pareto Analysis, were used to identify the problems and generate solutions. The findings revealed that the MSME had not promoted its products consistently and the location of Suci Shoelab was unknown to many potential customers. The MSME improved the promotional activity and placed signage to enhance its physical evidence to address this issue. Sales promotions and digital/internet marketing were also used for the promotional mix, and discount prices and drop stations were applied as promotional programs. For increasing its physical evidence, the MSME placed signage at the store to attract potential customers. After the solutions were applied, the sales of the MSME increase.

Abstract

This research mainly discusses about the effects of applying revenue management, specifically in the contexts of inventory control (variation in ticket prices for the same flight and class) and denied boarding (permissibility of reservations exceeding carrying capacity as a hedging practice over the possibility of tickets cancellation) on the customers’ satisfaction toward airlines in Indonesia. Experimental method was applied on the research, involving students from University of Indonesia asparticipants. The results showed that inventory control policy partly affected customer satisfaction, while the denied boarding policy fully affected their satisfaction. These research findings can contributeto further studies on consumers’ behaviour in dynamic airlines industry, mainly in emerging markets such as Indonesia

Abstract

Research Aims: This research aimed to investigate vertical partnerships between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and first-tier automotive component firms based on the relationships between technology transfer, technical exchange, government role and supplier performance in the Greater Jakarta area. Design/Methodology/Approach: A total of 65 respondent firms participated, comprising 6 OEMs and 59 first-tier firms. The research included site visits and interviews with companies based on questionnaires completed by representative individuals from middle management upward with responsibility for assessing product quality (purposive sampling). The questionnaire results were measured using Partial Least Squares Path Modelling (PLS-PM). Research Findings: The results highlighted significant relationships between government role and technology transfer (p-value = 0.00), government role and supplier performance improvement (p-value = 0.017), and technical exchange and supplier performance improvement (p-value = 0.077). However, no significant relationship was found between technology transfer and supplier performance improvement (p-value = 0.353). Theoretical Contribution/Originality: Understanding the vertical relations between OEMs and first-tier automotive component firms in Indonesia. Managerial Implications in the South East Asian Context: Solid relationships between OEMs and first-tier companies in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia are especially triggered by the increasing tendency for local component use (TKDN/Domestic Component Level). Research limitation & Implications: The research examined vertical relationships between OEMs and first-tier firms, notably between technology transfer and supplier performance improvement, technical exchange and supplier performance improvement, government role and technology transfer, and government and supplier performance improvement.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di Pesantren Raudhatul Qur'an 1 Klaten dengan tujuan mengintegrasikan konsep rantai pasok dan kewirausahaan dalam industri kreatif pembudidayaan lebah madu. Kegiatan ini diinisiasi atas dasar pentingnya pemberdayaan ekonomi pesantren melalui pendekatan berbasis keahlian dan kewirausahaan yang aplikatif. Kegiatan melibatkan dosen dari ITL Trisakti, Universitas Indonesia, serta dukungan dari Kementerian Pertanian. Santri dilibatkan secara aktif mulai dari tahap persiapan budidaya lebah, pemeliharaan, hingga pengemasan dan pemasaran produk madu. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan teknis, pendampingan manajerial, dan simulasi pemasaran produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri terkait budidaya lebah dan manajemen rantai pasok. Selain itu, program ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan pesantren melalui optimalisasi produksi dan penjualan madu. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi antara keilmuan rantai pasok dan kewirausahaan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan ekonomi pesantren yang berkelanjutan dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri kreatif lokal.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri dalam mengelola usaha produktif di Pesantren Raudhatul Qur’an 1 Klaten, khususnya pada bidang budidaya lebah madu dan distribusi produk. Pesantren memiliki potensi sumber daya lokal, namun belum didukung oleh sistem kewirausahaan dan distribusi yang terstruktur. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, program ini dirancang dengan pendekatan edukatif partisipatif melalui empat tahapan utama: penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dari Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti berkolaborasi dengan Universitas Indonesia dan Binus Online. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan santri terkait pengelolaan budidaya lebah dan distribusi produk secara mandiri, termasuk dalam pengemasan, penentuan harga, dan pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran. Salah satu luaran penting dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya unit produksi dan sistem distribusi internal yang memungkinkan pesantren memasarkan produk madu secara daring dan melalui kerja sama dengan mitra lokal. Kolaborasi lintas institusi terbukti efektif dalam membangun fondasi kewirausahaan berbasis pesantren. Hasil kegiatan ini penting sebagai model replikatif bagi pemberdayaan ekonomi pesantren lain yang memiliki potensi serupa.

Abstract

Kemampuan sebuah perusahaan untuk bertahan dalam kompetisi di industri yang dijalani akan sangat membantu untuk keberlangsungan perusahaan. Seperti kebanyakan UMKM lainnya, terdapat tantangan yang saat ini dihadapi oleh Klinik A+ Dental Care. Dengan dilakukannya proses Business Coaching bertujuan untuk membantu memperbaiki sistem pada Klinik A+ Dental Care agar perusahaan ini dapat lebih bertahan di dunia bisnis. Dengan suatu pelaku usaha bisnis berpegang teguh terhadap sistem manajemen mutu yang baik akan memudahkan untuk memiliki diferensiasi berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu Klinik A+ Dental Care meningkatkan daya saingnya di industri dengan menerapkan sistem manajemen mutu yang baik melalui proses Business Coaching. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis Business Model Canvas, analisis STP (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning), dan analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Hasil dari Business Coaching ini memberikan solusi yang berfokus pada manajemen mutu dengan penekanan pada kepuasan pelanggan, pendekatan berbasis proses, dan pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan data yang valid. Penerapan sistem manajemen mutu yang baik membantu Klinik A+ Dental Care memiliki diferensiasi yang berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kemampuan perusahaan untuk bertahan dalam kompetisi. Dengan penguatan sistem manajemen mutu, UMKM seperti Klinik A+ Dental Care dapat lebih siap menghadapi tantangan bisnis dan mencapai keberlanjutan dalam jangka panjang.
