Abstract

Community Service (PKM) is one form of the tridharma of higher education through the dedication of lecturers and students to the community which is also a process of self-maturation by interacting directly with the wider community. Community Service (PKM) is also an effort to realize more efficient education, namely education that is directly experienced by lecturers and students, so lecturers and students do not only get material, but more importantly, the theories obtained in the lecture hall must also be applied in the field, especially in the community environment of Lamseunong Lama Hamlet, Kajhu Village, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency.

Abstract

Darul Ulum Islamic Middle School Banda Aceh which has goods that must be managed well, quality and availability maintained. Inventory items must be managed and data well so that all inventory items are recorded in a system called Development of an Inventory Information System at Darul Ulum Islamic Middle School in Banda Aceh based on CodeIgniter. There are important inventory items that must be recorded in each room so that all inventory is recorded and handled properly. The inventory system currently used cannot display inventory history, the search for tools and goods is still manual, and the condition of the inventory items is not detected or is no longer suitable for use. The CodeIgniter-based inventory information system is a system that the author created to facilitate the performance of employees at Darul Ulum Islamic Middle School in Banda Aceh in managing inventory. Inventory data becomes more effective, efficient and data recapitulation is more accurate. The output from this system is in the form of inventory reports, user reports and item conditions.

Abstract

In the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), data privacy and security issues have become a primary concern in information systems. This research aims to investigate the underlying vulnerabilities of information systems concerning data privacy and security in the context of IoT. The research methods employed include literature surveys, case analyses, and reviews of best practices in data protection. The findings highlight several key vulnerability points, including weaknesses in credential management, network attacks, and deficiencies in data encryption implementation. Moreover, the findings indicate that despite advancements in security technology, significant gaps still exist that can be exploited by unethical parties to access users' IoT personal data. In conclusion, data protection in the context of IoT requires a holistic approach involving preventive measures, detection, and rapid response to evolving security threats. This research underscores the importance of data security education and awareness among IoT users and the necessity of collaboration among government, industry, and society to address these challenges.

Abstract

The training on filling the Lecturer Performance Load (BKD) through the SISTER Application within the Nusantara Academy of Finance and Banking aims to improve lecturers' understanding and ability to report their academic performance accurately and on time. BKD is an important instrument in assessing lecturer productivity in accordance with the duties and functions of the tridharma of higher education. The SISTER application developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) facilitates online BKD reporting. However, many lecturers face obstacles in operating this application, thus requiring special assistance. Through this training, participants are equipped with practical knowledge about the procedures for filling out BKD in accordance with applicable standards, utilizing features in the application, and solving common problems that are often encountered. The results of this activity are expected to improve the efficiency and quality of lecturer performance reporting, as well as support the assessment process and career development of lecturers in the institution. This training is also a strategic step to improve accountable and information technology-based university governance.

Abstract

The proliferation of public complaints regarding road damage has created a predicament within the community, as it has led to an increase in accidents among road users due to the prevalence of several damaged roads. The existing road damage complaint services have been suboptimal, resulting in unfulfilled complaints due to inadequate responsiveness to community submissions. In order to address this issue, it is necessary to develop an application that can effectively disseminate information about damaged roads to relevant stakeholders. This would enable prompt follow-up actions to be taken for road repairs, hence enhancing the convenience of road users. Complaints regarding national road damage are often addressed by one of the public facilities and services, specifically the Aceh National Road Implementation Center I. The concerns regarding road damage have not been effectively communicated, leading to misunderstanding regarding the appropriate recipient of the complaints. In this project, we want to develop an Android application specifically designed for submitting road damage complaints. The program will streamline the process of submitting complaints, particularly at the Aceh National Road Implementation Center I. The road damage complaint application can be designed to allow road users to submit evidence of complaints by uploading images using the android application. Users can capture photos directly from the camera or select them from the smartphone's gallery for reporting purposes.
