Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) pada aplikasi Gramedia Digital, yang merupakan platform untuk mengakses konten digital seperti buku, majalah, dan e-book. Metode Human Centered Design digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan fokus pada pemahaman mendalam tentang pengguna, kebutuhan mereka, dan lingkungan penggunaan aplikasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan survei untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan preferensi pengguna. Berdasarkan analisis sistem berjalan, perancangan ulang sistem, dan evaluasi ulang sistem pada aplikasi Gramedia Digital, ditemukan bahwa rekomendasi tampilan antarmuka aplikasi baru sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, sehingga meningkatkan nilai usability aplikasi sesuai dengan harapan dan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penilaian menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) pada aplikasi Gramedia Digital awal menunjukkan skor rata-rata 41, yang berada di bawah rata-rata. Namun, setelah melakukan analisis terhadap sistem redesign menggunakan metode Human Centered Design, ditemukan skor rata-rata 80, yang menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Gramedia Digital telah memenuhi nilai kegunaan yang diharapkan. Dengan peningkatan nilai usability sebesar 39, perancangan ulang sistem aplikasi Gramedia Digital telah mencapai tingkat yang dapat diterima oleh pengguna. Ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan antarmuka pengguna (User Interface) aplikasi Gramedia Digital yang dibuat berdasarkan metode Human Centered Design lebih baik daripada sistem sebelumnya.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate human and computer interaction on the e-learning website of Singaperbangsa University Karawang. The university uses the website as a medium to support lecture activities. The evaluation was carried out by considering aspects of e-learning website quality, user satisfaction, and WebQual 4.0 quality assessment methods. This research also implements the paradigm of human and computer interaction in application/website design. The results of this study are expected to provide insights and recommendations to improve human-computer interaction on the University of Singaperbangsa Karawang e-learning website.

Abstract

Web security is one of the main problems in today's digital era. In the face of security threats, Singaperbangsa University of Karawang (Unsika) needs to pay attention to the security of their information systems, especially on the website. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the security vulnerabilities of Unsika's website using the Penetration Testing Execution and Standard (PTES) method. This research aims to find and analyze security vulnerabilities on the Unsika website and provide recommendations for improving website security. The PTES method is used to test and analyze websites in terms of security, including vulnerability identification, penetration, and other security testing. The results showed that there were several security vulnerabilities on the Unsika website that could be exploited by attackers, After the scan was carried out, it was found that there was one vulnerability that had a high risk, five vulnerabilities with moderate risk, five vulnerabilities with low risk, and six vulnerabilities with informational risk. The recommendation given is to improve the security of the Unsika website by fixing the vulnerabilities that have been identified. In addition, it is also important to update and renew software and increase user awareness in managing and using information systems safely. In conclusion, this research proves that the PTES method can be used to find and analyze security vulnerabilities on the website. It is hoped that the results of this research can help Unsika in improving the security of their information systems, especially on the website.

Abstract

LinkedIn is the largest professional networking application in the world, classified as a social networking site (SNS) application. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest number of active LinkedIn users. To ensure user comfort, LinkedIn regularly updates their application. However, recently there have been some negative ratings regarding the LinkedIn application. To directly assess this, a research study was conducted to determine user satisfaction while interacting with the features available on LinkedIn. This research was carried out using the user experience questionnaire method, with 35 respondents participating. This method consists of 26 questions representing six assessment indicators, including attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The indicator with the highest score is stimulation, with a score of 1.48, which is categorized as good. On the other hand, the lowest indicator score is perspicuity, which only obtained a score of 0.79, below average. Overall, LinkedIn has received predominantly positive feedback. However, it is still recommended to continue innovating, especially focusing on improving perspicuity aspects that are tailored to the needs and issues faced by users.

Abstract

Perancangan UI/UX Prototype Sistem Pencatatan Pelanggan Berbasis Mobile Application menggunakan Metode Design Thinking (Studi Kasus CV. Kahla Global Persada). Pada era perkembangan teknologi saat ini, penggunaan aplikasi berbasis mobile semakin penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan dalam mengelola data pelanggan dengan efisien. CV. Kahla Global Persada, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi makanan kripik tempe, menghadapi tantangan dalam pendataan pelanggan yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sistem pencatatan pelanggan yang dapat memudahkan pengelolaan data pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Thinking sebagai pendekatan dalam merancang UI/UX prototype sistem pencatatan pelanggan berbasis mobile application. Tahapan dalam metode Design Thinking meliputi tahap Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Testing. Pada tahap Empathize, dilakukan wawancara dengan Direktur Utama CV. Kahla Global Persada untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan dalam perancangan UI/UX sistem pencatatan pelanggan. Tahap Define mengidentifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan dasar dalam pembuatan sistem pencatatan pelanggan. Tahap Ideate mengumpulkan ide-ide solusi dan merancang sitemap, user flow, dan wireframe. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan UI/UX prototype sistem pencatatan pelanggan berbasis mobile. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengujian prototype menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Dan skor SUS yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 92,25 menunjukkan bahwa prototype ini masuk dalam kategori "baik dan dapat diterima".

Abstract

Cybersecurity has become a crucial issue in the current digital era, especially for government websites that are often targeted by attacks. According to the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), government websites are vulnerable to hacking. This study aims to analyze the security of the Curug Village Government website using the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). The analysis was conducted on the ten main categories of web application security vulnerabilities listed in OWASP Top 10 2021, including Broken Access Control, Cryptographic Failures, Injection, Insecure Design, Security Misconfiguration, Vulnerable and Outdated Components, Identification and Authentication Failures, Software and Data Integrity Failures, Security Logging and Monitoring Failures, and Server-side Request Forgery. The results of the testing showed that 4 out of 8 vulnerabilities fall into the OWASP TOP 10 for 2021, particularly in the categories of Injection and Security Misconfiguration. Recommendations for improvements are provided based on these findings, which are expected to help the Curug Village Government strengthen their cybersecurity.

Abstract

Sales, A Process Involving Sellers Offering Goods Or Services To Buyers With The Objective Of Profiting From The Transaction, Is A Pivotal Activity In Business. Xyz Store, A Micro, Small, And Medium Enterprise (Msme) Specializing In Children’s Clothing Sales, Has Been Operational Since 2009. Transactions Can Be Conducted Online, Enabling Buyers To Shop Without The Need To Visit The Physical Store. However, Xyz Store Faces A Challenge In Stock Management, Specifically The Mismatch Between Demand And Product Availability, Leading To An Accumulation Of Less Popular Items. By Understanding Sales Trends, Xyz Store Can Optimize Their Stock Management, Either By Curtailing The Purchase Of Stocks For Less Sold Items Or By Substituting Less Popular Items With New Ones That May Be More Appealing To Potential Buyers. Through The Evaluation Stage In The Kdd Method, It Was Determined That The Optimal Number Of Clusters In This Study Is Three, With An Evaluation Result Of 0.5063460425226173. These Three Clusters Were Identified As Less Popular Items, Moderately Popular Items, And Very Popular Items. Cluster 1, Deemed Less Popular, Comprises 84 Items. Cluster 2, Which Is Moderately Popular, Includes 12 Items. Meanwhile, Cluster 3, Identified As Very Popular, Contains Only 4 Items. This Study Provides Valuable Insights Into Sales Strategies And Stock Management At Xyz Store For Enhancing Efficiency And Sales.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mendorong penggunaan aplikasi berbasis web dalam berbagai aktivitas manusia, termasuk dalam kebutuhan komunikasi dan pemasaran. Salah satu contohnya adalah website PT. Tri Jaya Teknik Karawang, yang memerlukan desain ulang UI/UX untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain website yang lebih menarik dan efisien dengan menggunakan metode Design Thinking, yang melibatkan tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Metode penelitian ini dirancang untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna, mengidentifikasi masalah utama, dan menghasilkan solusi inovatif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Design Thinking berhasil menciptakan desain yang lebih fokus pada kebutuhan pengguna, memberikan pengalaman yang memuaskan, efisiensi penggunaan, dan daya tarik visual yang lebih baik. Pengujian menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) menghasilkan skor 83 dari 100, menempatkannya dalam kategori "Acceptable Excellent". Selain itu, pengujian dengan metode Single Ease Question (SEQ) menunjukkan skor rata-rata 6,09 dari 7, yang mengindikasikan antarmuka mudah digunakan. Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas dari kedua metode pengujian menunjukkan data valid dan reliabel, sehingga mendukung keberhasilan desain ulang website ini.

Website Info Loker Karawang, yang dikelola oleh Dinas Tenaga KerjaKabupaten Karawang, memilikikendalasepertinavigasitidakintuitif, filter pencariankurangspesifik, sertadesain yang kurangresponsif. Penelitianinimerancangulang UI/UX menggunakanmetode Design Thinking untukmeningkatkanpengalamanpenggunamelalui lima tahap: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Hasil pengujiandengan System Usability Scale (SUS) menunjukkanskor 84 (Sangat Baik), dan Single Ease Question (SEQ) memperoleh rata-rata 6,32/7, yang menandakankemudahantinggidalampenggunaan. Hasil inimembuktikanbahwa Design Thinking dapatmenghasilkandesain yang lebihintuitif, efisien, dan meningkatkankepuasanpengguna.

Abstract

The use of information technology in village government is a solution to improve the quality and efficiency of public services. This study aims to design and build a web-based village administration information system in Nagrak Village to replace the manual system which is considered ineffective and inefficient in responding to community needs. The development method used is the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model which consists of five stages: needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of the system design include main features such as login, registration, letter submission, status checking, and letter verification by the admin. This system is also equipped with an interface that is designed to be simple, responsive, and user-friendly to facilitate all levels of society, including lay users. Through UML modeling, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams, the system flow is clearly visualized to describe the work process between actors in the system. The implementation of this system shows a significant increase in the speed of service, accuracy of administrative data, and transparency and accessibility of services. In addition, the system makes it easy for village officials to manage correspondence digitally. This study recommends further development in the form of a mobile application and integration of automatic notification features so that the system is more adaptive to community needs and is able to reach wider users in real time.
