Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out (1) school management in implementing the 2013 curriculum at the GUPPI Uswatun Hasanah Pematang Siantar school; (2) To find out the obstacles faced by school management in implementing the 2013 curriculum; (3) To find out efforts to overcome obstacles to implementing school management in implementing the 2013 Curriculum. The research method used was a qualitative approach using case study research. The findings of the research results were: (1) School Management in implementing the 2013 Curriculum includes: Implementation of 2013 Curriculum management includes: Planning by holding KKG teachers to prepare Prota, Prosem, RPP. Implementation of implementing learning activities according to the RPP, the learning method is scientific, the principal carries out class monitoring. Assessment is carried out with daily assessments, mid-semester assessments and final semester assessments where the head of the assessment is not much different from the Merdeka Curriculum assessment which is currently taking place where the daily assessment is changed to formative, summative material coverage, and final material summative. (2) Constraints in school management in Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum, firstly, the mindset of teachers who have not implemented authentic assessment optimally; second, teachers' lack of proficiency in using ICT (Information, Communication, technology); thirdly, the completeness of subject books is still lacking; fourth, the large number of students. (3) Efforts to overcome obstacles in implementing the 2013 curriculum management at the GUPPI Uswatun Hasanah Elementary School include: first, conducting a 2013 chronicle workshop, utilizing KKG in each theme, secondly, obstacles that arise, such as when creating lesson plans, can be overcome together or assessment problems that are currently still a problem. is a teacher's difficulty, and thirdly creating a special application to help teachers in assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi manajemen yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk membina kompetensi guru di MTs Swasta Al-Washliyah Sigambal. Fungsi manajemen tersebut di antaranya adalah perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, lebih khusus lagi metodologi deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru terutama di bidang kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional. Perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah meliputi; perencanaan bimbingan administrasi guru, baik RPP, silabus, penilaian peserta didik, melakukan pelatihan dan pendidikan, pembinaan melalui organisasi keguruan yaitu MGMP, pembinaan melalui supervisi kelas, pembinaan melalui rapat serta pembinaan tugas secara individual. Pengorganisasian yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah adalah dengan mengelompokkan tugas sesuai dengan latar belakang dimiliki para guru di MTs Al-Washliyah Sigambal. Pelaksanaan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru adalah dengan merealisasikan perencanaan dan pengorganisasian yang disusun oleh kepala sekolah dan pihak-pihak yang terkait seperti pelatihan, memfasilitasi sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang proses belajar mengajar, melalui organisasi pendidikan, rapat serta supervisi yang sudah direncanakan oleh kepala sekolah. Pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah adalah dengan melihat kelengkapan guru dalam mengajar, baik itu administrasi, cara mengajar, media yang digunakan dan penguasaan materi di dalam kelas serta melakukan evaluasi.

Abstract

Financing is one of the important instruments in achieving educational goals that must be managed effectively and efficiently and uphold the values of accountability. This must be used correctly, on target, and as needed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the National Education Budget policy that has been set by the government in the 2023 State Budget. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The overall data are then analyzed according to the phenomenological qualitative analysis model in a step: data managing, reading and memoing, describing, classifying, interpreting, and visualizing. The results showed that funding for education is a very important issue to improve the welfare of society and the quality of the young generation of a nation. The government in each country always strives to improve the quality of education of its people, especially through the allocation of adequate resources in the government budget, both central and regional. The National Education Budget in the 2023 State Budget posture has been set specifically for the education sector to reach IDR 612.2 trillion, consisting of the central government of IDR 237.1 trillion, transfers to regions of IDR 305.6 trillion, and financing of IDR 69.5 trillion. However, it should be noted that budget management is very vulnerable to misappropriation.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sebuah proses bimbingan yang diberikan kepada orang dewasa yang disalurkan kepada anak yang sedang berkembang untuk mencapai perkembangan yang optimal sehingga anak mencapai kedewasaannya. Melalui pembelajaran-pembelajaran yang diberikan terutama matematika, akan tetapi pada kenyataannya matematika sendiri seringkali menjadi momok yang menakutkan bagi para siswa, sehingga diperlukannya pendekatan yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (CTL) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jika hasil pengujian hipotesis yang didapat dari hasil uji Independent Sample T- Test diperoleh nilai probabilitasnya (Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000<0,05 sehingga diterima, yang artinya ada pengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Sehingga bisa disimpulkan jika pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Efektvitas Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran Kejuruan Dalam Memberdayakan Kompetensi Guru ( Studi Di MGMP SMK Negeri 1 Singkil Utara). Jenis penelitian mix metode dengan menggunakan tekhnik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Untuk analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, triangulasi dan menarik kesimpulan serta SPSS untuk melihat nilai efektivitas. Hasil penelitian Kegiatan perencanaan musyawarah guru mata pelajaran di SMK Negeri 1 Singkil Utara melalui tahapan a). Memahami materi ajar yang ada dalam kurikulum sekolah, pemberian materi kepada siswa, penyusunan LKS yang akan diberikan kepada siswa b). Memahami struktur, konsep, dan metode keilmuan yang menaungi atau koheren dengan materi ajar yakni Pembahasan tentang pendalaman dan pengembangan materi, dan c). Menerapkan konsep-konsep keilmuan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, Membahas dan memilih metode yakni Menyusun kisi-kisi soal ujian dan semester, Membahas dan mengkaji buku. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Kepemimpinan Instruksional Kepala Sekolah Di Sekolah Negeri (Studi di Sekolah Menengah Atas 1 Simpang Kanan Aceh Singkil). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode mixed methods jenis jenis  Multiphase design Analysis Interactive. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu langkah penelitian dengan menggabungkan dua bentuk  penelitian yang telah ada sebelumnya yaitu penelitian kualitatif dan penelitian kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian di SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan dengan menggunakan tekhnik analisis data observasi wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah terlaksana dengan baik. Gambaran kepemimpinan instruksional Kepala SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan meliputi Kepemimpinan yang kuat, hadir dan disiplin, memiliki harapan tinggi untuk guru dan peserta didik.  Kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah SMAN1 Simpang Kanan merupakan penggerak dalam pengembangan organisasi untuk suatu tujuan yang ingin di capai. Tanpa adanya inovasi yang  mendukung kegiatan  suatu lembaga pendidikan maka,  tujuan organisasi tidak tercapai, untuk itu kepala sekolah SMAN1 Simpang Kanan dalam meningkat kinerja guru menerapkan kepemimpinan Instruksional. Faktor penghambat Kepemimpinan instruksional Kepala SMAN 1 Simpang kanan berupa Kurangnya perhatian orangtua kepada anak ini disebabkan karena orang tua masih banyak beranggapan bahwa pendidikan cukup diberikan disekolah saja dan kemajuan IPTEK memberikan dampak yang negatif pada perkembangan anak karena minat belajarnya menjadi kurang,kelemahan – kelemahan  pada tataran guru terkait dengan standar nasional karena mereka kurang peka terhadap perubahan –perubahan yang cepat dari model-model perangkat yang harus dibuat oleh guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the principal's management in improving the quality of education at SMPN 14 Binjai as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the steps taken in leading SMPN 14 Binjai. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research show that the first management function carried out by the principal in improving the quality of education is to plan the vision, mission and goals of the school which refers to graduation standards, standards of educators and education personnel, process standards and infrastructure standards. Furthermore, the school also organizes schools filled with the competent and responsible people. The implementation of the four education quality standards at SMPN 14 cannot be separated from the supervision of the principal and his person in charge. Improving the quality of graduates who have good attitudes, knowledge and skills, the school has prepared various activities in intracurricular, extracurricular and P5. Improving the quality of educators and education personnel is improved by conducting training and seminars at school and outside school as well as discussions and teacher learning community activities in schools. The school also provides full support for improving the competence of teachers and education personnel outside the school. Improving the quality of the learning process is carried out by moving class learning systems and the application of digitalization systems in classroom learning. Improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure is carried out by schools by trying to complete school facilities. Meanwhile, supervision is carried out by the principal by observing classes and asking for accountability reports on activities that have been carried out. The second result in the form of supporting factors for quality improvement is the competence of school principals, support from teachers, parents and the government and the existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the blocking factors are internal factors from the principal, diversity of age and ability of teachers, passivity and lack of creativity of teachers and narrow land of SMPN 14 Binjai. The third result of the principal's success in leading is to have a solid team, go directly and be an exemplary example, build a positive work culture and allocate budgets effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how to develop talents and interests in the study of the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai. The research approach is qualitative, which is descriptive in nature and tends to use analysis. The research respondents were school principals, teachers and students of SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai. Questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation data collection tools. The results of the research on the development of these students' interests and talents in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum emphasized the development of talents and interests according to the characteristics of the students. So the research for class V students has been prepared, the school feels there is a shortage because students do not develop their talents. Several activities are carried out so that students can carry out activities according to the interests and talents of students properly. Based on the research results, it is known that there is a strong and significant influence between the implementation of developing students' talents and interests at school by distributing questionnaires and providing teachers according to the interests and talents of students at SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai for the 2021/2022 academic year. From the results of the study there were intervals of 20 students whose talent was to participate in scouting, and 35 students who had artistic talent. This means that the better the implementation of developing students' interests and talents at school, the more effective it will be in increasing the implementation of the independent curriculum at SD Negeri 023899 East Binjai.

Abstract

The aim of this research is: (1). To find out how the principal plans to improve the quality of education in terms of student achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala Babul Makmur Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. (2). To find out how the principal organizes in improving the quality of education in terms of student achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala Babul Makmur Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. (3). To find out how the principal’s implementation is in improving the quality of education in terms ofstudent achievement at SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Sigala-gala Babul Makmur Subdistrict Southeast Aceh District. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is used by: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is carried out by observation, triangulation and adequacy of references.  Based on the research results it was found : (1). The planning carried out by the chool principal is to implement 8 educational standards, do not force students to excel if it does not match their abilities. (2). The organization carried out by the school principal is to group high-achieving students by identifying high-achieving students from the beginning of the entry of new students using an approach. (3). The implementation carried out by the school principal involves the participation of student parents to improve student achievement, carryout activities in accordance with the scool budget work plan and in developing students, the participal directly involves teachers who have competencies in accordance with their respective fields at the school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of principal management in improving school performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan, Kerajaan District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection tools used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects were teachers and principals of SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan. The results of the research and conclusions are that: 1) The effectiveness of principal's planning in improving performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan, Kerajaan District, Pakpak Bharat Regency is good, where the principal has prepared an organizational structure, Operational Curriculum of Education Unit (KOSP), School Work Plan (RKS) guide which is prepared from the characteristics, conditions and potential region, socio-cultural community, school potential and student needs and contains all the activities that must be carried out by teachers; 2) The effectiveness of principal's organizing in improving performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kerajaan has been carried out well, where the principal arranges the duties and responsibilities of teachers through MGMP’activities, where MGMP is divided according to subjects and controlled through the chairman. The activities carried out at MGMPs activities are also supported by facilities and infrastructure, however the facilities and infrastructure do not yet support it optimally. 3) The effectiveness of principal’s actuating in improving performance at school has been good, where teachers have carried out their responsibilities well, teachers have provided teaching modules, designed media, disciplined attendance, implemented innovative learning models and comply with applicable regulations. 4)The effectiveness of principal’s supervision (controlling) in improving performance at school is carried out regularly, where the principal observes the performance of each teacher and always carries out evaluations through education supervision and also in order to resolve existing problems in the school.
