Abstract

Unit Infomasi dan Layanan Sosial (UILS) is a place for those of us who experience mental/mental disabilities to gather, share, and carry out various activities in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The lack of fostered residents at UILS Meruya indicates that the Social Services Unit cannot play a leading role while having a big vision of the eradication of psychotic problems in DKI Jakarta Province in a decent, normative and humane life. Branding strategy is needed to increase public awareness of a brand. This research was conducted to determine the branding strategy owned by UILS Meruya. The research method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive method is a research procedure based on descriptive data, using analysis. The theoretical basis as a reference so that the focus of research by the facts in the field. The approach taken is by interview, observation, and literature study. Researchers, together with UILS Meruya stakeholders, have analyzed and formulated brand positioning, brand identity, and brand personality from UILS Meruya.

Abstract

Coffee is a popular drink in the world. Coffee lovers in Indonesia are increasing day by day. This is marked by the proliferation of coffee shop businesses in various cities throughout Indonesia. The coffee shop business is a promising business. This is due to the growing trend of drinking coffee in coffee shops or so-called hanging out, a lifestyle and a means of showing the existence of adults to adolescents, men, and women. Depok City has many coffee shops spread across eleven sub-districts, each of which has four to six sub-districts. This research was conducted at a coffee shop in the Sukmajaya district, Depok. The analytical method used is a visual review methodology of visual communication design elements analysis on branding identity. Visual communication design elements such as typography, layout, colors, illustrations/ photography/ images and branding identity elements such as brands (brands, logos) which can be visual, text, or both then color (product, corporate) the composition of all the constituent elements and promotional media as well as information media.

Abstract

An attractive packaging design will be an advantage of a product. Products will be more visually attractive and also attract the attention of buyers. Depok City is a city known for star fruit cultivation and has MSME products made from star fruit, however, many UMKM have been affected by the pandemic causing a decline in productivity.The research method used is qualitative with research instruments in the form of observation, interview guidelines, and researchers as key instruments. This research was conducted to review the packaging design of food products and starfruit-based drinks in Depok, brand Rasa Dewa with product variants such as juice, syrup and dodol. Specifically, it aims to determine the structural design and interface design of the packaging, in general, it aims to help improve the packaging design knowledge of these starfruit-based food and beverage producers. The expected benefit is that the packaging design will be better and as a literature study for other researchers.

Abstract

Hasil Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2022 menunjukkan capaian literasi, matematika, dan sains siswa Indonesia masih berada di bawah rata-rata OECD. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode pembelajaran konvensional yang masih menekankan hafalan kurang efektif dalam membekali siswa menghadapi tantangan global. World Economic Forum (WEF, 2020) menegaskan bahwa keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti kreativitas, pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi sangat diperlukan dalam dunia kerja masa depan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual, salah satunya melalui Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam (YPI) Al Husna dirancang untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut dengan menerapkan PjBL berbasis lingkungan. Kegiatan meliputi pelatihan guru dalam penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) berbasis proyek, pengembangan modul tematik, serta praktik pengolahan limbah plastik jenis HDPE menggunakan teknik heat press sederhana. Siswa dilibatkan secara langsung dalam proyek daur ulang, menghasilkan produk edukatif sekaligus menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan. Orang tua juga berperan melalui dukungan bahan, pendampingan, dan partisipasi dalam pameran hasil karya. Luaran program menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas pedagogis guru, keterampilan praktis dan kolaboratif siswa, serta terbentuknya budaya peduli lingkungan di sekolah. Keberlanjutan dijamin melalui pembentukan Tim Penggerak Sekolah Peduli Lingkungan. Dengan demikian, PKM ini berkontribusi dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan dasar yang inklusif, kontekstual, dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan.

Abstract

Rappo is a local brand that produces products, especially bags. A social enterprise that produces recycled plastic bag waste (kresek) that is designed in such a way that it becomes a product that has a selling value. Conceptually, a brand means a "contract" from a company to its customers; promises, benefits, quality and certain values. A well-designed brand identity is able to form a brand image with a positive perception in the minds of customers. The ideal of brand identity is a higher goal of a brand or organization that goes beyond the products and services it sells. There are nine aspects of the ideal of brand identity, namely vision, meaning, authenticity, differentiation, durability, coherence, flexibility, commitment, value. Rappo packaging design is one of the brand identity elements owned by Rappo. Researchers want to know the design of Rappo product packaging in building brand ideals. The research method used is qualitative, with research outputs in the form of journal publications. The results obtained at this time are that Rappo products are not optimal in packaging.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin modern, membuat masyarakat membutuhkan sesuatu yang lebih praktis, kearifan lokal pada desain, material, dan bentuk, mulai ditinggalkan. Seperti kemasan yang menggunakan daun kemudian diganti menjadi plastik. Berdasarkan data yang diperolah dari 3 brand Dodol betawi yaitu Satibi, Ny. Lauw dan Beko, pada desain kemasan masih menggunakan material plastik dan kertas yang tidak ramah lingkungan, bukan kemasan tradisional yang berasal dari alam. Desain interface kemasan, Satibi, Ny. Lauw masih perlu diperbaiki elemen Desai Komunikasi Visual yang digunakan seperti pemilihan huruf, ilustrasi, layout, komposisi. Hirarki visual juga tidak diterapkan dengan baik. Untuk kemasan dodol Beko, sudah baik pengguanaan diperbaiki elemen Desai Komunikasi Visual, namun perancangan logo masih belum konsisten, masih terdapat logo yang berbeda pada kemasan. Bila digunakan secara efektif dalam desain kemasan, citra-baik berupa ilustrasi maupun foto dapat memberikan impresi pesan yang kuat. Dampaknya dapat tidak diharapkan atau tidak terantisipsi dan dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep desain kemasan, interface design, structure design, dengan pendekatan teori Desain Komunikasi Visual.
