Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan terdiri dari 2 siklus dan diterapkan pada materi Perubahan Sosial Budaya dan Organisasi. Dalam melihat hasil belajar siswa yaitu dari pantauan observasi berdasarkan instrument yang berisi indikator hasil belajar siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Diperoleh siklus I rata – rata hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal dengan persentase sebesar 73% dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 6% diperoleh siklus II sebesar 79% dimana persentase yang diperoleh sudah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan sesuai dengan yang ditentukan oleh peneliti, yaitu ≥ 76%. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan terdiri dari 2 siklus dan diterapkan pada materi Ketergantungan Antaruang dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat. Dalam melihat Keaktifan siswa yaitu dari pantauan observasi berdasarkan instrument yang berisi indikator keaktifan siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dari siklus I menunjukkan presentase keaktifan sebesar 40% yang masuk dalam kategori keaktifan cukup baik. Pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 20% yaitu menjadi 60%. Presentase ini masuk kedalam kategori Baik dari presentase keaktifan minimal siswa dikatakan baik yaitu 50%

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning implementation process and determine the improvement of student learning outcomes using the think pair share (TPS) model assisted by powerpoint. This research is a class action research conducted in two cycles with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and tests. The research subjects were VIIC class of SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap totaling 32 students. The results showed that the percentage of learning process implementation in cycle I was 95.63% with a very good category and increased in cycle II by 98.75%. The learning outcomes of students in cycle I amounted to 78.13% with an average score of 81.88 and in cycle II to 87.50% with an average score of 87.03. Based on these results, the application of the TPS model assisted by powerpoint is able to improve the learning outcomes of students on the material of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity in class VIIC SMPN 3 Sungai Kakap.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low activeness of students in class VII C SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap during the science learning process so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve the learning activities of VII C grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap on the topic of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity through the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) model assisted by powerpoint. The type of research used is classroom action research in the form of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The research procedure went through four stages starting with planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. A total of 32 students of class VII C in the 2023/2024 school year became the research subjects. Data collection was carried out using observation and documentation methods and the instrument used was the student learning activity observation sheet. The results showed that the percentage of students' learning activities in cycle I was 68.75% and in cycle II it was 88.44%. Based on these data, it is concluded that the application of the TPS model assisted by powerpoint can increase the learning activity of students in class VII C SMPN 3 Sungai Kakap, especially in the topic of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity.
