Abstract

Introduction: Interpersonal communication is a competency that must be possessed to foster cooperation. Failure in communication will reduce cooperation, which will impact the quality of service, especially in the operating room. Objectives: The aim of this research is to prove the effect of interpersonal relationship communication training according to Peplau's theory on nursing team collaboration in the operating room of the Haji Hospital, East Java Province. Methods: The quasi-experimental research method uses a pre-test-post-test control group design. The independent variable is interpersonal communication training. The dependent variable is the collaboration of the nursing team in the operating room. Data analysis using Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The sample consisted of 25 nurses, with 13 in the treatment group and 12 in the control group. Results: The results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test for the treatment group were p = 0.002 ≤  = 0.05. There was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results in the treatment group. In the control group, the Wilcoxon test obtained p = 1.00 ≥  = 0.05, meaning there was no difference between the pre-test and post-test results. In the Mann-Whitney U test post-test for the treatment and control groups, the p value was 0.004 ≤ = 0.05, indicating that there is an influence of interpersonal relationship communication training on nursing team collaboration. Conclusion: Nurses' interpersonal communication in the operating room is very important to improve teamwork. Nurses are expected to improve interpersonal communication and teamwork.

Abstract

Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali serves as a critical gateway for tourists, especially in the post-pandemic era. This study evaluates the service quality of the airport using the Fuzzy Servqual and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. A sample of 100 respondents was analyzed to assess five dimensions of service quality: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings indicate that several attributes of the service require improvement, particularly in terms of adequacy of infrastructure, service clarity, and responsiveness to passenger feedback. The IPA analysis identified two attributes as high-priority areas for improvement. Recommendations for enhancing service quality are proposed to better align with passenger expectation and satisfaction.

Abstract

This research method is a quantitative method using experimental types, while this research approach is a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-postest. The research sample was obtained through a saturated sample technique or total sampling where all populations were sampled, namely all class V students totaling 25 people. Data collection uses essay test questions and questionnaires with statistical data analysis techniques with t-tests. From the final test result data, it shows that the final average score of students in the pretest is 44.6 with a percentage of completeness of 20% and postest which is 86.04 with a percentage of completeness of 88%. the results of student learning motivation scores on the questionnaire test at SDN 06 Andaleh Baruh Bukik were 25 students with a total score of 2206 and an average score of 88.24. It can be concluded that students' learning motivation is in a very high category. In this study, a hypothesis test was also carried out with a posttest pretest t-test with an SPSS application of 0.000<0.005, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted so that a decision could be made that giving rewards was effective in increasing the learning motivation of grade V students in mathematics subjects at SDN 06 Andaleh Baruh Bukik.
