Abstract

The existence of Shia groups in Indonesia, as in other areas outside Iran, is still not widely known. Even though some writers think that Shia have entered the archipelago since the beginning of the arrival of Islam and their influence is quite strong in the Islamic tradition in the archipelago. The Shia movement in Indonesia is monitored by the ICC Jakarta (Islamic Cultural Center), which is led by a director named Mohsen Hakimullah from Iran. ICC operates in two aspects, namely education and da'wah. Shia in Indonesia are Shia Imamiyah based in Iran. Later his followers in Indonesia called themselves Ahlul Bayt, which is essentially Shia Imamiyah.

Abstract

Spiritual education of students is aspect important in formation characters that are often less than optimally developed at school . Study This aim For explore the role of the teacher in increase students' spiritual competence through Islamic Religious Education with approach phenomenology at Bustanul High School Ulum Jayasakti , Central Lampung. Study This use method qualitative with approach phenomenological For understand teachers' experiences and perceptions as well student related with enhancement spiritual competence . Data is collected through interview depth , observation , and documentation . Research result show that the teacher has role crucial in facilitate development students' spiritual competence through various method teaching , like integration deep spiritual values every eye lesson , habituation practices of worship, and giving a good example . Additionally , support from environment schools and families are also found as factor important in this process . Implications from study This show that enhancement students' spiritual competence can achieved in a way effective through collaboration between teachers, schools and families as well as with application of integrative and contextual teaching strategies . Study This give contribution for development of a holistic and comprehensive model of religious education For form a generation of character and morals glorious. ABSTRAKPendidikan spiritual siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter yang sering kali kurang optimal dikembangkan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi spiritual siswa melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendekatan fenomenologis di SMA Bustanul Ulum Jayasakti, Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi guru serta siswa terkait dengan peningkatan kompetensi spiritual. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran krusial dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kompetensi spiritual siswa melalui berbagai metode pengajaran, seperti pengintegrasian nilai-nilai spiritual dalam setiap mata pelajaran, pembiasaan praktik ibadah, dan pemberian teladan yang baik. Selain itu, dukungan dari lingkungan sekolah dan keluarga juga ditemukan sebagai faktor penting dalam proses ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi spiritual siswa dapat dicapai secara efektif melalui kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan keluarga serta dengan penerapan strategi pengajaran yang integratif dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan model pendidikan agama yang holistik dan komprehensif untuk membentuk generasi yang berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers in enhancing the learning motivation of orphaned children at Yayasan Al-Nikmah Barikah Janah, South Jakarta. Orphaned children often face emotional and social challenges that affect their motivation to learn, making the role of teachers in providing emotional and motivational support crucial. The research method used includes direct observation, interviews with teachers and children, and analysis of related documentation on learning activities at the foundation. The findings reveal that teachers at Yayasan Al-Nikmah employ various approaches, such as providing encouraging words, sharing inspirational stories, and using interactive and enjoyable learning methods. Additionally, teachers adopt a personal approach to understand the individual needs and challenges of each child. However, the main challenges include the emotional condition of the children, influenced by the loss of parents and a less supportive social background. Therefore, collaboration between teachers, the foundation, and foster families is essential in creating an environment that supports both the academic and emotional development of the children. The conclusion of this study is that emotional support and personal approaches by teachers are effective in increasing the learning motivation of orphaned children, but there is a need for the development of a more comprehensive support system to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the learning process. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali peran guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak-anak yatim di Yayasan Al-Nikmah Barikah Janah, Jakarta Selatan. Anak-anak yatim seringkali menghadapi tantangan emosional dan sosial yang mempengaruhi motivasi mereka dalam belajar, sehingga peran guru dalam memberikan dukungan emosional dan motivasional sangat krusial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi langsung, wawancara dengan guru dan anak-anak yatim, serta analisis dokumentasi terkait kegiatan pembelajaran di yayasan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru di Yayasan Al-Nikmah memanfaatkan berbagai pendekatan, seperti memberikan kata-kata penyemangat, berbagi kisah inspiratif, serta menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, guru juga melakukan pendekatan personal terhadap setiap anak untuk memahami kebutuhan dan tantangan mereka secara individu. Meskipun demikian, tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah kondisi emosional anak-anak yang dipengaruhi oleh kehilangan orang tua serta latar belakang sosial yang kurang mendukung. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara guru, yayasan, dan keluarga asuh sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan akademik dan emosional anak-anak. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dukungan emosional dan pendekatan personal oleh guru sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak-anak yatim, namun perlu adanya pengembangan sistem pendukung yang lebih komprehensif untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas proses belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching strategies of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in enhancing the moral character (akhlakul karimah) of students at SMP Al-Kamal Jakarta. The background of the issue is related to the crucial role of teachers as role models for students, given the impact of teachers' behavior on students' character development. The focus of this research is to identify various teaching methods applied by the teachers to instill noble values, as well as to understand the role of religious routines practiced at school. The research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings show that at SMP Al-Kamal Jakarta, the teaching strategies implemented include not only lectures, discussions, and problem-solving but also religious routines such as communal prayers and Qur'an memorization. These routines have a positive impact on shaping students' moral character both at school and in their daily lives. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that strengthening students' moral character can be achieved through the integration of classroom teaching methods and consistent religious practices. The study also suggests the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and the community in shaping students' character. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan akhlakul karimah peserta didik di SMP Al-Kamal Jakarta. Latar belakang masalah berkaitan dengan pentingnya peran guru dalam menjadi teladan bagi siswa, mengingat pengaruh perilaku guru terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi berbagai metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam menanamkan akhlak mulia, serta memahami peran kebiasaan keagamaan yang dijalankan di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di SMP Al-Kamal Jakarta, strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan tidak hanya melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan pemecahan masalah, tetapi juga melibatkan rutinitas kebiasaan keagamaan seperti sholat berjamaah dan penghafalan Al-Qur’an. Kebiasaan-kebiasaan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk akhlakul karimah peserta didik baik di sekolah maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan akhlak peserta didik dapat terwujud melalui integrasi antara metode pembelajaran di kelas dan kebiasaan keagamaan yang dijalankan secara konsisten. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan pentingnya kerjasama antara guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

This article discusses the history and urgency of marriage registration regulations in Islamic family law in Muslim countries. The background to writing this article is a phenomenon that emerged in the Islamic world in the 20th century, namely efforts to reform family law carried out by countries with Muslim majority populations. Family law reforms carried out by various Muslim countries generally cover three aspects, namely marriage, divorce and inheritance. In the context of marriage, one form of reform carried out is marriage registration. Juridically, the requirements for marriage are: first, material requirements, namely the conditions attached to each marriage pillar, both those regulated in jurisprudence and those regulated in legislation. Second, administrative requirements, namely requirements related to marriage registration. However, the addition of marriage registration as a condition for a marriage has given rise to debate. The focus or problem formulation in this article is: 1). What is the history of marriage registration regulations? 2). What is the typology of marriage registration rules in Islamic family law in Muslim countries?  3). What is the urgency of the marriage registration regulations?

Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis of Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 13 Semarang, exploring their role in shaping students' religious character, tolerance, and social harmony. The main purpose of this article is to evaluate how these extracurricular activities contribute to the internalization of religious moderation, particularly in a pluralistic society like Indonesia. The research is motivated by the growing importance of fostering tolerance and preventing radicalism through educational programs. The study employs qualitative methods, including observation, interviews with teachers, and document analysis of extracurricular activities. The hypothesis is that Islamic spiritual extracurriculars enhance students' religious understanding and promote interfaith cooperation. The findings reveal that activities such as weekly religious studies (ta‘lim/kiss), community services like mosque cleaning, and interfaith charity work significantly improve students' understanding of moderation, tolerance, and social responsibility. Furthermore, these activities contribute to a positive school culture that strengthens unity among students of different religious backgrounds. This research contributes to the broader field of education by demonstrating how extracurricular programs can be effectively used to promote religious moderation and prevent radicalization. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the vital role of extracurricular activities in fostering a balanced and tolerant mindset among students, making a significant contribution to peace-building and social harmony in schools.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, education is required to adapt to the times. One way is by applying the 21st century learning model. This model can be applied in fiqh subjects to help students understand and practice Islamic teachings in a more in-depth and contextual way. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century skill-based learning model in fiqh subjects. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research and the data collection technique is content analysis. The results of the study show that the 21st century learning model has many opportunities to improve the quality of fiqh learning. However, the implementation of this model also has several challenges, such as requiring teacher preparation, and changing the mindset of students. In conclusion, the 21st century learning model has the potential to improve the quality of fiqh learning. By overcoming various challenges, this model can be an effective tool to help students become a generation that is intelligent, characterful, and ready to face future challenges.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan adalah hal pokok yang ada dalam setiap organisasi, kelompok, negara bahkan agama. Karena menjadi faktor utama keberhasilan tujuan sebuah organisasi maupun kelompok. Kepemimpinan merupakan titik sentral dan penentu kebijakan dari kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan. Kepemimpinan adalah aktifitas untuk mempengaruhi perilaku orang lain agar supaya mereka mau diarahkan untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Dalam Islam merujuk pada kitab suci al-Qurân terdapat dua kata yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan makna kepemimpinan. Pertama, mengunakan istilah khalifah, dan kedua memakai istilah imam. Dalam kontek Indonesia kepemimpinan ialah presiden, presiden merupakan pemegang kekuasaan eksekutif pada sistem pemerintahan presidensial. Dan mekanisme kontrol dilakukan oleh lembaga perwakilan rakyat. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Khalifah, Presiden.
