Abstract

Spiritual education of students is aspect important in formation characters that are often less than optimally developed at school . Study This aim For explore the role of the teacher in increase students' spiritual competence through Islamic Religious Education with approach phenomenology at Bustanul High School Ulum Jayasakti , Central Lampung. Study This use method qualitative with approach phenomenological For understand teachers' experiences and perceptions as well student related with enhancement spiritual competence . Data is collected through interview depth , observation , and documentation . Research result show that the teacher has role crucial in facilitate development students' spiritual competence through various method teaching , like integration deep spiritual values every eye lesson , habituation practices of worship, and giving a good example . Additionally , support from environment schools and families are also found as factor important in this process . Implications from study This show that enhancement students' spiritual competence can achieved in a way effective through collaboration between teachers, schools and families as well as with application of integrative and contextual teaching strategies . Study This give contribution for development of a holistic and comprehensive model of religious education For form a generation of character and morals glorious. ABSTRAKPendidikan spiritual siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter yang sering kali kurang optimal dikembangkan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi spiritual siswa melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendekatan fenomenologis di SMA Bustanul Ulum Jayasakti, Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk memahami pengalaman dan persepsi guru serta siswa terkait dengan peningkatan kompetensi spiritual. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran krusial dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kompetensi spiritual siswa melalui berbagai metode pengajaran, seperti pengintegrasian nilai-nilai spiritual dalam setiap mata pelajaran, pembiasaan praktik ibadah, dan pemberian teladan yang baik. Selain itu, dukungan dari lingkungan sekolah dan keluarga juga ditemukan sebagai faktor penting dalam proses ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi spiritual siswa dapat dicapai secara efektif melalui kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan keluarga serta dengan penerapan strategi pengajaran yang integratif dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan model pendidikan agama yang holistik dan komprehensif untuk membentuk generasi yang berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the competencies of Islamic Education teachers in developing the National Curriculum towards Local Genius 6.0 Ideas Internet of Things (IoT). By identifying challenges and opportunities in the implementation of IoT in the curriculum, this research explores appropriate methods to strengthen the competencies of Islamic Education teachers in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations of Islamic Education teachers. The results show that, although there is awareness of the importance of IoT integration in the curriculum, lack of resources and lack of in-depth understanding are the main barriers. The implications of these findings highlight the need for intensive training and collaborative approaches between educational institutions and industry to strengthen teachers' competencies in the face of the IoT era. Thus, this study makes an important contribution in preparing Islamic Education teachers to be agents of change in adopting increasingly advanced technologies in the context of education.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi ketegangan agama melalui kacamata perdamaian, keadilan, dan hak asasi manusia, dengan rekomendasi konsep "Hidup Berdampingan yang Dimoderasi" sebagai pendekatan proaktif dalam mengelola keberagaman. Didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip seperti dialog yang saling menghormati, resolusi konflik, dan pembangunan komunitas, hidup berdampingan yang dimoderasi bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan lingkungan yang harmonis di mana beragam komunitas dapat hidup berdampingan tanpa mengorbankan identitas. Pentingnya permasalahan ini perlu digarisbawahi, mengingat dampak global dari ketegangan agama terhadap perdamaian, keadilan, dan hak asasi manusia. Kajian ini menarik perhatian pada peran agama dalam memajukan perdamaian budaya, seperti yang dicontohkan oleh inisiatif UNESCO, dan mengkaji contoh-contoh di dunia nyata, seperti konflik Israel-Palestina, hingga menyoroti ketegangan agama dalam skala global. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman komprehensif mengenai ketegangan agama dan kaitannya dengan perdamaian, keadilan, dan kemanusiaan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan multifaset, penelitian ini mencakup refleksi literatur secara menyeluruh yang menangkap perspektif sejarah dan kontemporer, serta metode kualitatif untuk mendapatkan wawasan dari contoh kehidupan nyata yang dimoderasi. Keterkaitan antara perdamaian, keadilan, dan hak asasi manusia merupakan bagian integral dari kehidupan berdampingan secara efektif dan moderat. Dengan menerapkan hidup berdampingan secara moderat dan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip perdamaian, keadilan, dan hak asasi manusia, masyarakat dapat memahami kompleksitas dunia yang saling terkait dengan komitmen terhadap inklusivitas, kesetaraan, dan upaya berkelanjutan untuk hidup berdampingan secara damai. Studi ini menganjurkan penelitian lebih lanjut dan implementasi praktis untuk menyempurnakan pendekatan dan mendorong kehidupan berdampingan secara harmonis dalam konteks agama yang beragam.

Abstract

The concept of religious moderation in Islamic education becomes very relevant to form individuals who are able to live harmoniously in a multicultural society. However, there are still few studies that deeply examine how the principles of religious moderation reflected in the verses of the Qur'an and Hadith can be integrated in Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the concept of religious moderation in the Qur'an and Hadith and its implications in Islamic education. The method used is library research by analyzing the relevant texts of the Qur'an and Hadith, and connecting them with the theory of Islamic education. The results show that religious moderation, manifested in the balance between rights and obligations and the avoidance of extremism, can be a strong basis for developing a more inclusive and tolerant Islamic education curriculum. Moreover, the application of these moderation values has the potential to reduce social polarization and promote harmony in society. This research makes an important contribution to the development of moderation-based Islamic education theory and opens up opportunities for further research involving empirical approaches and the implementation of a religious moderation-based curriculum. The social and ethical implications of this research also demonstrate the importance of using digital technology in supporting the dissemination of religious moderation values to create a more peaceful society.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze the teacher's efforts in instilling student discipline and independence at MA Bustanul 'Ulum Jayasakti. This research is motivated by the problem of low levels of student discipline and independence which is a challenge for teachers in shaping student character in a pesantren environment. A qualitative approach with the type of field research was chosen because it allows in-depth exploration of social phenomena that cannot be quantified, including processes, events, and authenticity of data. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively to understand the patterns and strategies applied by teachers in shaping students' disciplinary and independent characters. The findings show that teachers play a central role through the implementation of clear rules, rewards and sanctions, individual guidance, and active communication with parents. Restorative approaches and character education are also applied to help students understand and correct mistakes. This research contributes to understanding character education strategies in pesantren-based educational institutions and provides recommendations for the development of more comprehensive learning models. The findings are relevant to support improving the quality of character education in the modern era.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess how the Islamic Religious Education Policy responds to the emerging challenges in the globalized era. Qualitative methods, centered on case studies, are employed for this research. During the research process, data collection is conducted through interviews, Observation and documentation were used as methods. Afterwards, the data was analyzed using three techniques: summarizing data, presenting data, and making conclusions while ensuring the validity of the data. Islamic Religious Education encounters various challenges amidst globalization, such as moral crises, insufficiently qualified teaching staff, inadequate welfare for educators, a cognitive-centric approach to learning, suboptimal madrasah management, and negative community perceptions towards madrasahs. To address these challenges, several strategies for Islamic Education are proposed, including the development of an Islamic education paradigm, the implementation of effective educational practices, the enhancement of teaching resources' quality, and the creation of education tailored to the characteristics of the millennial generation.

Abstract

Education is defined as a conscious and planned effort to actively develop students' self-potential, which includes physical, spiritual, intellectual aspects, personality, intelligence, and noble character. The purpose of this study is to explain the values of character education in the book At Tahliyah Wa At-Targhīb Fī At-Tarbiyah Wa At-Tahżīb. This research uses a literature method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data was analyzed through content analysis to understand the concepts of character education in the book At Tahliyah Wa At-Targhīb Fī At-Tarbiyah Wa At-Tahżīb. The results of the discussion were that character education, described by Sayyid Muhammad in his book At Tahliyah Wa At-Targhīb Fī At-Tarbiyah Wa At-Tahżīb contains various aspects needed by the younger generation. Sulukul Insani as a concept of social interaction in society, the importance of awareness of social capital to others, and the active role of educational institutions are the keys to the successful implementation of character education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Teacher competence is a key element in determining the quality of learning, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), which plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character and intelligence from an early age. However, there remains a gap between the ideal competencies of teachers and the realities in the field, particularly in lesson planning, classroom management, and reflective practice. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a lesson study-based training model in improving the professional competence of MI teachers. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects consisted of 10 MI teachers who participated in lesson study training over three cycles, each comprising the stages of planning (plan), implementation (do), and reflection (see). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate a significant improvement in teacher competencies, particularly in lesson planning, the application of active learning methods, classroom management, and conducting reflective practices. Teachers also demonstrated increased participation and collaboration in the joint learning process. The study concludes that the lesson study-based training model can serve as a strategic and sustainable alternative for developing the professional competence of MI teachers. The implications of this research highlight the need for institutional and policy support to integrate lesson study as a systemic component of teacher professional development in madrasah environments. ABSTRAK Kompetensi guru merupakan elemen kunci dalam menentukan kualitas pembelajaran, terutama di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) yang memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter dan kecerdasan siswa sejak dini. Namun, masih ditemukan kesenjangan antara kompetensi ideal guru dengan realitas di lapangan, terutama dalam aspek perencanaan pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, serta kemampuan refleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas model pelatihan berbasis lesson study dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru MI. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 10 guru MI yang mengikuti pelatihan lesson study selama tiga siklus, yang masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan (plan), pelaksanaan (do), dan refleksi (see). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru pada aspek perencanaan pembelajaran, penerapan metode aktif, pengelolaan kelas, serta pelaksanaan refleksi pembelajaran. Guru juga menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi dan kolaborasi dalam proses belajar bersama. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model pelatihan berbasis lesson study dapat menjadi alternatif strategis dan berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru MI. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya dukungan kelembagaan dan kebijakan untuk mengintegrasikan lesson study sebagai bagian dari pengembangan profesi guru secara sistemik di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat publikasi artikel ilmiah di kalangan mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI), termasuk di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Bustanul Ulum Lampung Tengah. Hal ini menjadi tantangan signifikan dalam meningkatkan reputasi akademik dan penyebaran pengetahuan. Pengabdian Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penyusunan karya ilmiah bagi mahasiswa STIT Bustanul Ulum Lampung Tengah. PkM ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), yakni dengan menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan mahasiswa yang akan dijadikan objek pengabdian. Identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, hingga tindakan pengabdian. Identifikasi masalah bagi mahasiswa STIT Bustanul Ulum adalah kurangnya kemampuan dalam menulis artikel jurnal ilmiah yang mencakup aspek penulisan, tinjauan pustaka, metodologi penelitian, dan proses pengiriman naskah. Memperhatikan masalah yang dihadapi objek pengabdian tersebut, tindakan yang diberikan adalah dengan melaksanakan bimbingan penulisan artikel ilmiah selama dua hari agar dapat memberikan perubahan bagi mahasiswa objek pengabdian dalam penyusunan artikel jurnal. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah dapat diukur melalui beberapa indikator utama, yaitu: pertama, para mahasiswa mampu menyusun artikel jurnal ilmiah yang siap untuk dikirimkan ke beberapa jurnal yang sesuai bidang masing-masing; kedua, terdapat peningkatan kompetensi penulisan, di mana peserta menunjukkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menulis artikel ilmiah serta memiliki pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai standar internasional dalam publikasi akademik; ketiga, dalam jangka menengah, jumlah artikel yang berhasil dipublikasikan di jurnal terakreditasi mengalami peningkatan; dan keempat, program ini turut memperkuat jaringan akademik melalui kolaborasi antara STIT Bustanul Ulum Lampung Tengah sebagai PTKI di bawah naungan Kementerian Agama dan Universitas Lampung sebagai PTN di bawah naungan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi, serta mendorong peserta untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam konferensi ilmiah dan seminar di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

This research examines the idea of religious moderation in the teachings of Nusantara scholars, which is very important in creating social harmony in diverse Indonesia. In the midst of increasing religious extremism, the moderation taught by Nusantara scholars is very relevant to be studied more deeply. This study aims to analyze the values of religious moderation in the thought of Nusantara scholars and its relevance in the current social context and Islamic education. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, analyzing classical texts and the thoughts of scholars, and seeing how they are applied today. The results show that religious moderation developed by Nusantara scholars, such as Wali Songo and Hasyim Asy'ari, has a strong foundation in creating an inclusive and tolerant society. The research also shows the importance of applying the values of religious moderation in Islamic education and the wise use of digital technology in disseminating these teachings. This research opens up opportunities for further research on the role of Nusantara scholars in shaping a more harmonious society.
