Abstract

This research aims to understand the recruitment system for educators and educational staff at SD IT Ma'arif Padang Panjang. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative design. The subject of this research is the Staff of Wakaf Ma'arif Foundation Padang Panjang. Data collection is conducted through method triangulation, where data in the form of relevant documents obtained from the website and school files, then the accuracy of the documents is checked through interviews. The results of this research indicate that the recruitment, selection, and placement process at SD IT Ma'arif Padang Panjang adopts a one-stop approach. The initial steps involve identifying and analyzing the needs of educators and educational staff, followed by the foundation's announcement of job vacancies, administrative selection, written tests, Quran reading tests, psychological tests, and interviews. Subsequently, the results of the interviews are analyzed, and the announcement of accepted applicants is made. Afterward, the process of job placement, issuance of employment contracts, and a three-month training program are carried out.

Abstract

New students who live in Islamic boarding schools experience various kinds of problems, one of which is adjustment. The problem of lack of adjustment is a problem that is often experienced by students in Islamic boarding schools that only study the yellow book and Islamic boarding schools that provide formal educational institutions. The purpose of this study was to find out whether peer social support and self-confidence can affect the adjustment of new students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 33 class VII-F students of SMPI SGJ. the selection of subjects in this study was based on recommendations from the school and counseling teachers. As for the scale of peer social support and self-confidence used as a data collection method, to test the hypothesis using multiple regression tests. From data management it is known that the regression coefficients obtained are: self-adjustment 34,136 + 0,332 peer social support + 0,537 self-confidence. F (2.30) = 32.328, p<0.01 with an R-squared of0.683 shows that peer social support and self-confidence have an influence of 68.3% on self-adjustment, and the remaining 31.7% is influenced by other factors. So the results of this study indicate that the self-confidence variable has a greater influence than the peer social support variable on the adjustment of new students. so it is necessary to increase the confidence of new students so that it is easier in the adjustment process

Abstract

Penelitian Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan program "Klinik Hitung" sebagai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa. Program ini dirancang untuk membantu siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam berhitung melalui pendekatan bimbingan intensif dan latihan terfokus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari guru dan sejumlah siswa sekolah dasar yang dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan berhitung yang membutuhkan pengembangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program serta dampaknya terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Klinik Hitung memiliki pengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kecepatan dan ketepatan perhitungan dasar, serta peningkatan rasa percaya diri dalam menghadapi soal matematika. Selain itu, interaksi antara tutor dan siswa serta metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan berperan signifikan dalam keberhasilan program ini. Temuan ini menyarankan bahwa program Klinik Hitung dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan berhitung, dan disarankan untuk diterapkan secara lebih luas di sekolah.

Abstract

The annual Admission of New Students (PPDB) organized by the government in collaboration with schools is not without challenges. The competition among schools leads to a struggle to attract the best students. Despite being formal educational institutions trusted by the community, schools have a consistenly responsibility to implement their administrators. The admission of new students is based on the provisions of Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 51 of 2018, carried out through three pathways: zoning, achievement, and parental job relocation. Zoning admission involves admitting students based on the distance from their residence to the school, with a minimum acceptance requirement of 90% of the school's capacity. Achievement admission is based on excellence in either academic or non-academic fields, with a maximum acceptance of 5% of the school's capacity. Parental job relocation admission is for students outside the zoning and achievement pathways, with a maximum acceptance of 5% of the school's capacity.The implementation of the zoning system for new student admissions, as stipulated in Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 51 of 2018, has implications for the declining motivation of students, an increase in adolescent delinquency, and a decrease in parental responsibility towards students.

Abstract

The evaluation of educational programs is designed to identify improvements needed in the education system. In practice, program evaluation also involves political dimensions that should be a concern for both evaluators and the parties being evaluated. Furthermore, the relationship between morality and individuals is also an integral part of the ethical code used in the assessment. This article aims to explain the importance of ethical and political aspects in the implementation of educational program evaluation. The research method used is a literature review in which the author gathers information related to the ethical and political aspects when evaluating educational programs. Research findings indicate that several factors influence the relationship between ethics and individuals in educational assessment, including religious beliefs, moral values embedded in culture, treatment by the educational community, messages conveyed through mass media, and environmental conditions

Abstract

Gampong is the lowest level of government in the government system in Indonesia. In recent years, gampong or villages have been given great authority in carrying out village governance, especially in managing community empowerment in Gampong Ujong Drien. Tuha Peut is given authority in carrying out supervisory functions, especially supervising the performance of the village government. The formulation of the problem in this study is limited to the Role of Tuha Peut in Planning Community Empowerment in Gampong Ujong Drien. This study includes qualitative research as a process to provide a complex understanding of what happens in community empowerment.
