Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan power position terhadap hasil kemampuan tolak peluru pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Tidore Kepulauan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test dan post-test desing. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Tidore Kepulauan dengan jumlah 52 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampling dalam penelitian mengguanakan teknik simple random sampling pada siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Tidore Kepulauan dengan jumlah 20 orang. Instrument penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, adanya pengaruh latihan power position terhadap hasil kemampuan tolak peluru pada siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Tidore Kepulauan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan 0,05, dimana nilai t-hitung = 21,464 > t-tabel = 1,729.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference between the physical fitness levels of students who walk and ride to school. For physical education teachers, the results of this study can provide information about the importance of physical fitness for students because a good level of physical fitness in students allows them to be productive in carrying out activities so they can go about their days with enthusiasm and can achieve optimal learning outcomes. This research is a comparative research with survey method and data collection using TKJI test including 60 meter running test, sit up, push up, trunk lift, sit and rich, one leg, shuttle run and bleep test. This research was conducted on students of SMA Negeri 11 Tidore Kepulauan. The population is all students of SMA Negeri 11 Tidore Kepulauan totaling 110 students. The sample used in this research is grade XI students with a total of 40 students. The variable in this research is a single variable, namely the underhand passing skills of students of SMA Negeri 11 Tidore Kepulauan. In this research, the distance traveled by students from home to school is not a problem. From the results of research on differences in physical fitness levels, it can be concluded that the level of physical fitness of students walking and riding motorized vehicles to school at SMA Negeri 11 Tidore Kepulauan there is no significant difference in both female and male students. This can be shown from the results of hypothesis testing that the significance value (P Value) is greater than the alpha value (5%) or 0.05 in other words Sig> α (0.100> 0.05) so it is decided that H0 is accepted which means that there is no significant difference between the fitness levels of students walking and riding motorized vehicles to school.

Abstract

This study aims to improve short-distance running skills, particularly the 80m sprint, after implementing a play model. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, documentation, and questionnaires. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The population was fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Bukit Durian, Tidore Islands City, and the sample size was 20 students, divided into 7 boys and 13 girls. Through play, students learned short-distance running. This is crucial considering that many students are less enthusiastic and pay less attention during short-distance running lessons. In this study, the researchers collaborated with teachers at SD Negeri 2 Bukit Durian, Tidore Islands City, to plan a learning action that lasted for two cycles. The results showed that students' skills in short-distance running at fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Bukit Durian, Tidore Islands City, improved. The psychomotor aspect of cycle I increased to 59%, and cycle II increased to 82%. The affective aspect increased to 88% in cycle I and 89% in cycle II. The cognitive aspect increased to 6.2% in cycle I and 6.6% in cycle II. The results of the student questionnaire in cycle I were 80%, while in cycle II it increased to 95%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that learning short distance running with play models can improve students' skills at the school
