Traditional traders, especially clothing traders, have experienced a decline in sales amidst the development of modern markets and online sales. The research raised a case study in the Wlingi Blitar market, the largest market in the Blitar district, East Java. Research using a qualitative approach is presented descriptively, resources are obtained through in-depth interviews and also documenting, making observations, and using secondary data to obtain in-depth information so that a complete picture is obtained regarding the topic of traditional markets, modern markets, and digital transformation which has given rise to online sales. The research results stated that clothing traders experienced a decline in sales caused by the emergence of many modern shops in the Wlingi area and its surroundings and due to the rise of online sales. Some market sellers can transform sales digitally by selling their products online, but some traders need help to do this, so sales experience a decline.

Abstract

The shift from labor-based companies to knowledge-based businesses, including in the banking industry, encourages the role of intellectual capital dan corporate governance in determining financial performance. The object of this research is banking companies listed on the IDX in 2017 - 2021. The sample size was determined using a purposive sampling approach which produced 50 data. Regression on panel data is used to test the hypothesis. The research results show that the number of board of commissioners dan the frequency of board of commissioners meetings do not have a major impact on financial performance. However, intellectual capital, independent commissioners dan managerial ownership have a big influence on financial performance. This study shows that the responsibility of the board of commissioners is only to comply with the regulations. On the other hdan, the company's intellectual capital has been managed well dan is able to generate long-term profitability. Therefore, the business world must manage its intellectual capital dan corporate governance effectively dan efficiently in order to continue to exist dan maintain the trust of its stakeholders.

Abstract

Background: Inpatient services are one of the important indicators in measuring the quality and performance of hospitals. Hospitals need to pay attention to marketing strategies, especially marketing mixes to attract and retain patients. Patient perceptions of marketing mix elements such as product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence greatly influence patient decisions in utilizing inpatient services. Purpose: To determine the effect of patient perceptions of the marketing mix on the utilization of inpatient services. Method: Quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample used was 122 inpatients at Kediri Baptist Hospital. The sampling technique was probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. Results: The product moment correlation test conducted on patient perceptions of the marketing mix on the utilization of inpatient services, obtained a sig value of 0.000. The sig value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000> 0.05) which indicates that there is a significant influence between patient perceptions of the marketing mix on the utilization of inpatient services with a value of r = 0.752 which means it is classified as strong. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the contribution of the determinant coefficient and the determinant coefficient is KP = r².100% = 0.752² which means that the influence of patient perceptions of the marketing mix on the utilization of inpatient services is 56% and the remaining 44% is determined by other variables. Conclusion: There is a significant influence between patient perceptions of the marketing mix on the utilization of inpatient services. Suggestion: The hospital can conduct a customer satisfaction survey according to the specified period to increase the number of patient visits.   Keywords: Inpatient; Marketing Mix; Patient Perception; Service.

This research aims to find out the relationship between consumer confidence, business confidence, consumer price index, and composite stock price index in Indonesia because the indicator describes a country's economic cycle as a result of sentiment that occurs. Quantitative descriptive research using multivariate methods of cointegration and granger causality within the VECM statistical framework. The period of the study is from 2015 – 2020. VECM estimation shows that in the long term there is a positive relationship pattern between CCI and itself. Then PMI shows a pattern of positive relationships, while CPI and JCI show negative relationships. Only PMI variables have a significant effect on the CCI in the long run. Then in the short term, PMI has a positive relationship pattern and has a significant influence on CCI and JCI in lags 1 and 2, and has a significant influence on CPI in lag 2. JCI has a positive and significant relationship pattern to CCI and CPI in lag 2. This research still does not discuss the dynamic behavior of the VECM model through the response of each variable to the shock of other variables and forecasting how the response of a variable in the future if a shock occurs in other variables. Governments and central banks must be able to reduce market panic and build a level of public trust. It can be said that optimism from the point of view of the business world and consumers needs to be maintained by stakeholders, especially governments and central banks.
