Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil review dari beberapa artikel penelitian terdahulu. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memetakkan beberapa sifat kuantitatif berupa keragaman genetik, keragaman fenotipe, hereditas, dan tingkat kemajuan genetik berdasarkan beberapa hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Artikel ini dibuat melalui studi referensi, dengan menganalisis dan membandingkan beberapa hasil penelitian jagung dengan varietas yang berbeda dan ditanam di beberapa lokasi yang berbeda. Hasil studi ini memberikan informasi, yaitu pada sebagian besar hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase keragaman fenotipe tanaman jagung lebih besar daripada keragaman genotipenya. Beberapa karakter yang seringkali memiliki heritabilitas tinggi, antara lain: tinggi tanaman, panjang tongkol, jumlah baris per tongkol, berat  biji,  bobot tongkol, dan hasil biji per hektar. Faktor lingkungan memiliki pengaruh terhadap semua karakter atau variabel pengamatan, namun kisaran nilainya berbeda-beda antar karakter.

Abstract

In Pucuk District, Lamongan Regency, there is pond aquaculture around the battery smelting plant. In this case, of course, the pond needs good water quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of pond water in accordance with the Quality Standards of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia (PP RI) No. 22 of 2021 Class III Water. And to find out the Effect of Water Quality on the Survival Rate of Milkfish (Chanos chanos). The method used in this study is Observation. This study was carried out for 14 days, namely on day 0, day 7 and day 14 for water quality measurement and monitoring of milkfish survival rate. The parameters observed include pH, Temperature, DO, TSS, COD, Pb. The research time is from April 2024 to May 2024. The research sample was taken from 2 pond locations, namely on the west side of the factory with a distance of 2 meters and behind the factory with a distance of 5 meters. Sampling is determined by the distance between the factory and the pond which is the closest location because no waste disposal outlet is found. The results of the effect of water quality on the survival rate of milkfish (Chanos chanos) were analyzed using SPSS 21 Linear Regression. Based on the results of measuring pH, Temperature, and DO parameters from day 0, day 7 to day 14, the value meets the quality standard. And for the TSS and Pb parameters, the 0th day exceeded the quality standard, then on the 7th to the 14th day the TSS and Pb values decreased until they met the quality standard. And for the COD parameter from day 0, day 7 to day 14, the value decreased but still exceeded the quality standard. So it can be known that the pond water in this study has a risk of decreasing water quality which can have an impact on the health of milkfish.

Abstract

Background : Diarrhea​ Still become problem health mainstay in Indonesia, especially in the regions with sanitation bad and condition environment that is not healthy. Slum areas around place disposal rubbish own risk tall to disease this because limitations access to clean water, cleanliness food, as well as behavior life clean and healthy low. Research purposes this aiming for know factors that influence incident diarrhea in the area adjacent slums​ with place disposal rubbish. Research methods use design descriptive analytic with cross-sectional approach. The sample consists of from 250 heads family living nearby​​ place disposal waste in City X, selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collected through questionnaire, observation field, and interviews in depth. Data analysis was carried out using chi-square and regression tests logistics multivariate. Results: Factors that significantly significant influential to incident diarrhea is clean water quality (p=0.002), habits wash hand (p=0.001), management waste domestic (p=0.003), and density occupancy (p=0.008). Conclusion: Necessary intervention cross sector for increase clean water access, education health public about sanitation basics, and improvements environment settlements.

Abstract

Implementasi Unit Pengolahan Sampah (UPS) di kawasan wisata Pantai Pulau Merah, Banyuwangi, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan sampah melalui pemilahan, daur ulang, dan pengomposan. Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak UPS terhadap perubahan timbulan dan komposisi sampah dengan membandingkan data bulanan sebelum (November 2020–Oktober 2021) dan setelah implementasi (November 2021–November 2022). Data diperoleh dari laporan bulanan UPS dan divalidasi melalui wawancara terstruktur. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (Independent T-test, uji Chi-square) digunakan untuk menguji signifikansi perubahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan volume sampah dari rata-rata 5.298,56 kg/bulan (SD = ±2.092,77) menjadi 13.010,15 kg/bulan (SD = ±6.278,42), diduga akibat perluasan cakupan layanan dan peningkatan kunjungan wisatawan. Komposisi sampah mengalami perubahan dengan dominasi organik meningkat dari 42,1% menjadi 63,2%, residu turun dari 46,3% menjadi 30,5%, dan anorganik daur ulang berkurang dari 11,6% menjadi 6,3%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan efektivitas UPS dalam meningkatkan pemilahan organik dan mengurangi residu, meskipun perlu penguatan sistem daur ulang anorganik. Implikasi penelitian menekankan pentingnya integrasi UPS dengan pendekatan ekonomi sirkular dan edukasi 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) untuk optimalisasi pengelolaan sampah di kawasan wisata pesisir.
