Abstract

The quality of CCTV images often deteriorates due to poor lighting, low-quality cameras, and noise, hindering effective security analysis. This study aims to assess the combined effect of Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and median filtering on improving the quality of CCTV screenshot images by enhancing contrast and reducing noise. Using a quantitative approach, four low-quality CCTV images were processed with CLAHE to improve contrast, followed by median filtering to reduce noise. Image quality was evaluated using two metrics: Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). Results showed that CLAHE significantly improved image contrast, with MSE values ranging from 17.7513 to 159.092 and PSNR from 39.4809 to 47.1987. After applying the median filter, MSE values decreased to 12.1238–22.1747, and PSNR increased to 34.7288–37.3442, indicating noise reduction. The combination of CLAHE and median filter showed even better results, with MSE values ranging from 0.000993935 to 0.00508972, and PSNR ranging from 71.1032 to 78.1966. This combination significantly improved the quality of the CCTV screenshots, making them more suitable for security and forensic analysis. The findings suggest that CLAHE and median filtering can effectively enhance image clarity. Future studies should focus on optimizing these techniques for various lighting conditions and exploring other methods to address extreme noise levels in CCTV images

Abstract

The development of technology has led to increased use of air conditioning. Air conditioning is a process that cools, dries, cleans, and circulates air, while controlling its quantity and quality. It is important for machinists and electricians responsible for cooling machines to effectively carry out their duties and responsibilities by maintaining the machines properly. This research is a qualitative case study involving descriptive analysis using written or spoken observations of behavior. It focuses on the analysis of freon leaks in the condenser related to room temperature on the MT ship, Kuang. The research concludes that the decrease in condenser work in refrigerator machines is caused by interference with the dryer. The recommended efforts include inspecting and repairing leaking pipes, and conducting maintenance and repairs in accordance with the Manual Book standards.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of understanding level (X₁) and perceived usefulness (X₂) on the adoption of mobile-based e-money services, using OVO in Sumbul District, Indonesia, as a case study. Employing a quantitative causal-comparative design grounded in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2), the research surveyed 100 OVO users through stratified random sampling. Results indicate that both understanding (p=0.033, β=0.211) and usefulness (p=0.000, β=0.385) significantly enhance usage interest (Y), with their combined effect further validated by regression analysis (F-statistic=14.457). Demographic trends reveal higher adoption among tech-savvy males (52%) aged 36–45 (53%) with bachelor’s degrees (54%), underscoring the role of education and age in digital payment adoption. The study highlights practicality, time efficiency, and long-term benefits as key drivers, aligning with technology acceptance theories. However, barriers persist in rural areas and among less-educated populations, suggesting the need for targeted financial literacy programs and infrastructure improvements. These findings offer actionable insights for policymakers, fintech providers, and businesses aiming to accelerate Indonesia’s transition to a cashless economy. The research contributes to fintech adoption literature by contextualizing behavioral factors in emerging markets, emphasizing the interplay of cognitive, attitudinal, and demographic variables in e-money adoption.

Abstract

Upaya ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia sebagai alat pembelajaran pendidikan pemahaman pada SMA Budi Luhur. Layanan ini memanfaatkan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan melalui penelitian dan pengembangan. Layanan ini ditawarkan di SD Eksperimental Medan Baru. Model pembelajaran diintegrasikan ke dalam berbagai perangkat pembelajaran (multimedia) seperti buku siswa dan guru serta rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP). Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, integrasi multimedia ke dalam model pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri diketahui efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan penggunaan non multimedia. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji t statistik, diperoleh thitung (9,98) lebih besar dari ttabel (2,00) dan nilai kepraktisan multimedia yang dimasukkan dalam model pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri sebesar 3,39 pada kategori praktis, artinya tidak ada peningkatan.

Abstract

Masyarakat Lingkungan VII Kelurahan Sei Sikambing C-II beserta wirid remaja Masjid Jamik dan khusu jamaah banyak yang menggantungkan penghasilannya melalui wirausaha, seperti jualan, menjahit, kerajinan hiasan rumah, gorden/tirai dan bahkan ada yang jualan kereta sekken, berdasarkan hal demikianlah tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat membuat suatu kegiatan guna menunjang dan memberikan wawasan serta pengetahuan dibidang pemasaran online atau pemasaran digital. Diketahui bahwa UMKM memerlukan pengembangan dalam usaha dengan menggunakan teknologi agar dapat bersaing dengan usaha-usaha baru yang berasal dari luar kota dan dalam kota bahkan pendatang. Kondisi pada UMKM di menunjukkan bahwa UMKM masih menggunakan teknologi sederhana dalam pemasaran, yaitu menggunakan smartphone dan didominasi dengan media whatsupp, facebook, instagram dan sosial media lainnya. Bahkan, masih banyak UMKM yang menjalankan usahanya secara offline tanpa bantuan teknologi. Dengan demikian, upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam berbisnis online dan pelatihan penggunaan teknologi dalam pemasaran produk. Diharapkan nanti hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pelaku usaha sangat menyambut positif pada kegiatan ini, dan dapat memberikan manfaat dan inspirasi, sehingga mereka memiliki rencana tindak lanjut untuk menjalankan usaha secara online.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using ArchiCAD software as a tool for interactive 3D visualization in the context of learning media for building drawing engineering. Traditional methods of teaching technical drawing often rely on two-dimensional representations, which can limit students’ spatial understanding and comprehension of complex architectural forms. By integrating ArchiCAD, a Building Information Modeling (BIM)-based software, students are exposed to a more immersive and realistic learning experience, enabling them to visualize construction elements more clearly. The research employs a quasi-experimental method involving two groups: an experimental group using ArchiCAD-based interactive media and a control group using conventional methods. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, as well as student perception questionnaires. The results indicate a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of the experimental group, both in terms of cognitive understanding and design skills. Furthermore, student responses show a high level of satisfaction and engagement when using 3D interactive media. These findings suggest that ArchiCAD can be effectively implemented as a digital learning medium in vocational and technical education settings, especially in the field of architectural drawing. The study recommends broader integration of BIM-based tools to support competency-based learning and enhance the quality of engineering education.

Abstract

Course scheduling is one of the most common problems in education. The number of rooms, the number of teachers, the number of subjects that must be taught, and the teaching hours of teachers who teach not only one school so that a method is needed so that there is no block with other schedules. In designing a course schedule with a limited number of teachers and there are teachers who cannot teach on certain days will be a complicated problem to be solved manually. adaptive which is commonly used to solve a value search in an optimization problem. Adaptive is commonly used to solve a value search in an optimization problem. i.e. the progression of generations in a natural population slowly follows the principle of natural selection or "he who is strong, survives". By emulating this theory, it can be used to find solutions to real-world problems. By applying the course schedule design time and teachers can choose the time to teach according to their time choice so that the course schedule design can be completed faster than the course schedule design. Can be completed faster than the manual schedule design.

Abstract

The role of alumni data in supporting institutional development and fostering stronger connections between alumni and their alma mater is significant. Battuta University currently lacks an efficient system for collecting and managing alumni data, which has led to a gap in communication and potential missed opportunities for collaboration. This study aims to design a web-based information system tailored for the systematic collection, management, and utilization of alumni data. Using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, this research outlines each stage of system development, from requirements analysis to deployment. The proposed system features a user-friendly interface, secure data storage, and versatile data retrieval options, allowing administrators to update, manage, and access information effectively. The implementation of this system is expected to facilitate a more structured approach to alumni engagement, enhance communication between the university and its graduates, and support data-driven decision-making processes. This web-based solution is projected to improve the efficiency and reliability of alumni data management, contributing to the university’s strategic goals.

The industrial revolution and globalization have necessitated the adoption of distance learning, which can be implemented effectively through technology without compromising quality. Technology has become integral to human life, revolutionizing how we work, socialize, and learn. The educational sector has embraced technological advancements to create innovative and engaging learning experiences. E-Learning, a prime example, leverages electronic media and the Internet to provide flexible and accessible learning opportunities. Using smartphones, laptops, or PCs allows students to learn from anywhere at any time, saving time and costs. E-Learning empowers students to maximize their learning potential regardless of circumstances.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to deeply analyze the role of technology in driving the development of the digital product entrepreneurship sector. Using a mixed methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods, this study examines how the adoption of technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and other digital platforms affects the innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness of digital entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The results show that technology plays a significant role in accelerating the product innovation process, expanding market access, reducing operational costs, and increasing business scalability. Key challenges include the digital literacy gap, limited access to funding, and technological infrastructure readiness. Keywords: Technology, Digital, Entrepreneurship, Product Innovation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam peran teknologi dalam mendorong perkembangan sektor kewirausahaan pada produk digital. Dengan pendekatan mixed methods yang menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana adopsi teknologi seperti cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, dan platform digital lainnya mempengaruhi inovasi, efisiensi, serta daya saing pelaku usaha digital di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi berperan signifikan dalam mempercepat proses inovasi produk, memperluas akses pasar, menekan biaya operasional, dan meningkatkan skalabilitas usaha. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi kesenjangan literasi digital, keterbatasan akses pendanaan, serta kesiapan infrastruktur teknologi.
