Abstract

 The importance of improving land transportation infrastructure which can support the smooth and equitable development, therefore roads are an important facility for humans to reach an area that they want to reach. The highway is a track that aims to pass traffic from one place to another. The north coast highway (Pantura) is a highway that falls within the criteria of a road which is heavily passed by heavy vehicles because, Baluran highway is a connecting road between Situbondo district and Banyuwangi district. Baluran road conditions are winding and there are slopes (vertical). With a width of road = 7 meters, this highway is passed by heavy vehicles. This solid volume of vehicles results in overloading of the road resulting in frequent damage to the road body. In addition, sharp curves (horizontal curves) and slope and grade slopes (vertical curves) coupled with conditions around the shoulders of trees which also provide poor visibility. Considering the above conditions (geometric and flexible pavement) on the Baluran highway, re-evaluation or analysis of the length of the curvature (horizontal and vertical curves) is required, in addition to the frequent damage to the road body, an evaluation of the thickness of the flexible pavement is needed.

Abstract

Simpang signaling Jl. Moch Seruji - Jl. DR. Soebandi and Jl. Slamet Riyadi is geometrically comprised of three arms (south, west and north), located in Jember Town, Patrang District. This intersection serves various types of highway transportation vehicles (light vehicles, heavy vehicles, motorized and non-motorized vehicles), as well as access to public transportation within the City to Arjasa terminal. In addition, approximately 20 meters west of the intersection there is a railway track connecting Jember and Banyuwangi districts. Thus the oprasional intersection signaled DR. Soebandi is quite a potential sabagai point of traffic problems and transportation system of the city.Operational analysis of the intersection is done by analyzing the performance of intersection which includes degree of saturation, delay time, and queue length. The method used is Manual Capacity of Indonesia Road Capacity (MKJI 1997).From the results of this study shows that the intersection of DR. Soebandi with the volume of vehicles this year is still effective in performance, as well as the singkron of the way head of the train in the west of the intersection is fairly still able to accommodate the vehicle that is accommodated when the train passes. Keywords : Oprasional optical performance analysis, (MKJI 1997)

Abstract

A road intersection is a point where various movements carried out by people with vehicles and without vehicles (pedestrians) meet which are not in the same direction. The intersection of the three being studied is on the Raya Probolinggo - Lumajang road near the Klakah gas station. This intersection is a three-way intersection that has a fairly large traffic flow and is passed by various types of motorized and non-motorized vehicles. fuel filling line. The purpose of this study is to reevaluate the performance of roads and intersections with no signal, to analyze the performance of roads and intersections for the next 5 years, and to analyze problem solving that occurs on these roads.

Abstract

The plan for the construction of the Jalan Lintas Selatan (JLS) of Jember is the access of the southern road of Jember along 83,510 kilometers. JLS crossed 7 districts, which were Kencong, Gumukmas, Puger, Wuluhan, Ambulu, Tempurejo and Silo. As for Silo through Mulyorejo along 17.910 kilometers. Field conditions in JLS Mulyorejo are Perhutani land and farm village. The purpose and objectives of the Final Project (4 research sites) are to plan geometric and pavement thickness at JLS in Mulyorejo village with potential area with coffee and banana plants. In addition, Mulyorejo Village has a productive coffee management factory (PTPN.XII). From the research results (Horizontal arch): LC1 = 124.026 m, LC2 = 132.506 m, LC3 = 153.960 and LC4 = 220.868 m. For Vertical curvature: EV1 = -1.496 m, EV2 = -1.687, EV3 = + 0.6591 m and EV4 = -0.634 m.As for super elevation planning is + and - 2% transverse slope. In the thickness of pavement using the method of Bina Marga 2013 with CBR 7.5% (PU Bina Marga, 2016) with the following results: 4.00 cm thick AC WC, 13.5 thick AC BC, 15.00 thick LPA class A and 15.00 cm thick LPA class B.Keywords:Planning, Geometric and Pavement Thickness 2013.

Abstract

Road is an infrastructure which supports and plays an important role in the transportation sector. The  improvement of land transportation infrastructure can support the smooth and equitable development in regional and national levels.. Benculuk highway well known as highway of various destinations. With these conditions, it is necessary to evaluate the thickness of the flexible pavement on the road. Therefore a good handling construction of normalization, enhancement or rehalibitation is needed. It will be done optimally if the factors causing the damage are known. The problem in this research is how the performance of the Benculuk highway, how to evaluate the condition of the thickness of the flexible pavement using the 2013 UR 20-year Bina Marga method, and how to evaluate the dimensions of the road drainage channel. This study aims to (1) analyze performance on the Benculuk highway, (2) analyze the flexible pavement conditions with the 2013 UR 20-year Bina Marga method (3) evaluate the dimensions of the road drainage channel. The results of the 2013 Bina Marga pavement thickness calculation obtained a flexible pavement thickness  47.5 cm, WC AC 4 cm, AC BC 13.5 cm, LPA Class A 15 cm. The results of drainage dimensions b 0.9 m and 1.1 m are planned along 2 km of KM Genteng 6 + 400 (left) with a drainage gradient value of 60% and using cemented masonry material.

Abstract

Flexible pavement is one of the pavements that generally uses a mixture of materials originating as a surface layer and a grained material as the layer underneath. So that the pavement layer has flexibility / flexibility that can create vehicle comfort when passing on it. It is necessary to conduct a more intensive study in its application and also take into account economically, according tolocal conditions, level of need, implementation capacity and other technical requirements, so that the planned road construction is optimal. Drainage which comes from English (drainage) means to drain, drain, remove, or divert water. In the field of civil engineering, in general, drainage can be defined as an action to reduce excess water, which comes from rain, seepage, or excess irrigationwater from an area / land, so that the function of the area / land is not disturbed. Drainage is also defined as an effort to control groundwater quality in terms of sanitation. So, it concerns not only surface water but also groundwater. Based on the data that has been processed using the Bina Marga method in 2013, it can be seen that there are several things that experience significantdifferences. It is known that ESA 20 years = 3,922,232 uses a pavement thickness of HRS WC 3 cm, HRS Base 3.5 cm, LPA class A 37.5 cm while for the duct dimensions the values of b are 0.6 m and h 0.6 m.

Abstract

Abstrak  Tanah ekspansif merupakan salah satu jenis tanah bermasalah, sangat peka tehadap perubahan kadar air. Tanah ini mempunyai ciri-ciri kembang susut yang besar akibat dari perubahan volume pori yang dapat menimbulkan gaya angkat terhadap konstruksi yang ada sehinga dapat menimbulkan kerusakan pada konstruksi tersebut. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut kajian yang mendalam terhadap suatu lokasi pembangunan infrastruktur akan adanya potensi mengembang dan menyusut menjadi sangat penting. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan analsia potensi kembang susut tanah pada lokasi pembangunan Rumah Sakit UM Jember. Adapun metodelogi yang digunakan adalah melalui metode eksperimen yaitu dengan Uji CPT dan  mengambil sampel untuk diteliti dilaboratorium . Dari hasil uji cpt didapat tanah dibawah permukaan merupakan tanah lempung lunak hingga kedalaman 3 meter pada kedalaman 1 meter terdapat lensa. Dari hasil uji konsistensi tanah menunjukkan pada lokasi penelitian merupakan tanah ekspansif sedang sampai tinggi.

Abstract

The intersection of Jl.Gajah Mada and Jl. Sentot Prawirodirjo is an intersection with 3 arms (East, South, West). Where to Jl.Gajah Mada is a national road, which consists of 2 lanes and 3 lanes. Meanwhile, Jl. Sentot Prawirodirjo is a local road which consists of 1 lane 2 lanes. Jl Gajah Mada is the center or area of shopping and offices .. On Jl. Gajah Mada has also built a shopping center and a new generation building, so that it will increase traffic flow in the area. One reason why traffic lights are needed is to make a U-turn too long before  this intersection. So it is necessary to analyze how the intersection performance before and after the traffic light. The analysis used is the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines method (PKJI 2014). This analysis includes the degree of saturation (DJ), delay, queue length. From the results of the calculation evaluation, the level of intersection service is better with the presence of traffic light, than before the traffic light. Likewise with the analysis of the awakening from the mosque, which did not have a significant effect on the intersection of Jl. Gajah Mada and Jl. Sentot Prawirodirjo.
