Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of a teacher development program on educators’ psychological well-being, which is dichotomously conceptualized through the variables of thriving at work and emotional exhaustion. This study employed a quantitative method analysis. A total of 225 teachers who participated in the Teachers’ Transformation Program in Central Java Province, Indonesia, were asked to complete the survey developed using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The teacher’s development program is significantly and positively associated with psychological meaningfulness and thriving at work. In contrast, the efficacy of the teacher’s development program on role overload and psychological exhaustion is not statistically supported. In addition, perceived organizational support significantly moderates the effect of teachers’ development program on role overload and emotional exhaustion, while the moderating effect of school support on the relationship between teachers’ development program, psychological meaningfulness, and thriving at work is not significantly supported. This study contributes to the literature on teacher professional development, particularly in how the national teacher development program could potentially influence teachers' wellbeing (both positively and negatively). Policy makers should not only focus on improving competencies but also on managing teachers’ workload to prevent burnout in implementing the teacher development program.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how working capital management (WCM) and liquidity affect the profitability of consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population of this study is all consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the IDX. Sample selection with the criteria of companies that publish financial reports for the period 2021-2023 with a sample of 75 companies with a total of 225 observations. This study uses panel data regression analysis techniques. The dependent variable of this study is Return on Asset (ROA) which can represent the company's profitability. The independent variables used are Working Capital Management (WCM) which is proxied by CCC, ARP, APP, ICP and liquidity which is proxied by CR. The results of this study indicate that the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC), Payables Period (APP), and Current Liabilities (CR) have a significant positive effect on ROA. While the Receivables Period (ARP) and Inventory Conversion Period (ICP) have a significant negative relationship to ROA. This study has limitations in that it only uses samples from one industrial sector and the period between 2021-2023.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the macroeconomic indicators that affect sharia banking stock price index period 2014-2016. Four variables consist of inflation, BI interest rate, rupiah exchange rate and SBIS are considered to have an effect on the syariah bank stock price index. This research uses quantitative method. This study uses monthly time series data which is analyzed by multiple linear regression. The data used are secondary data with 36 data from January 2014-December 2016. Data collection is taken with documentation techniques sourced from the official website of Bank Indonesia and yahoofinance.com. The results showed that inflation did not significantly influence the sharia bank stock price index. While the BI interest rate, the exchange rate of rupiah and SBIS have a significant influence on PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk stock price index. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the indicators considered in the PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk stock price index are BI rate, rupiah exchange rate and SBIS.
