Abstract

It is important to ensure that nurses have sufficient skills and knowledge to handle emergency situations. This competency assessment can help improve nurses' readiness to face disasters and emergency situations that may occur. To develop an unobtrusive (observation) instrument for assessing disaster nursing competency which refers to the International Council of Nurses (ICN) disaster nursing competency framework, especially earthquake and volcano disasters. The starting date for the design of the disaster nursing competency assessment instrument was 2023. Then, the implementation of the research to test the instrument, which had been validated by experts using disaster nursing practice simulations, was conducted for a month from February to March 2023. The research design uses Design-Based, the sample criteria were active student status, emergency nursing, and disaster management courses. The total number of respondents was 80 students, and in the initial stage of testing the instrument during disaster simulation observations, a limited sample of 20 respondents was taken at random and assessed by five lecturers as raters. The instrument development stage started with the specification of the ICN disaster nursing competency assessment instrument. The Aiken index for the unobtrusive observation technique instrument with competency assessment rubric is high, valid, and met reliability requirements. Multifaceted analysis compared students, items, and lecturers from small and large samples. The analysis reveals that students' difficulty levels vary according to the assessing lecturer, with some mastering all items and others only mastering specific ones.

Abstract

Indonesia National Adolescent Mental Health Survey (I-NAMHS) shows that one in three adolescents aged 10-17 years in Indonesia had mental health problems in the last 12 months, equivalent to 15.5 million adolescents in the country and one in 20 adolescents aged 10-17 years in Indonesia also experience mental disorders equivalent to 2.45 million adolescents in the country. Of the 120 respondents, it was found that there were several emotional and mental problems, namely, the aspect of emotional problems in the high abnormal category. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing supportive therapy on adolescent mental problems. This study employs a quantitative, quasi-experimental pre-post-test design with a control group. The inclusion criteria are divided into class A and class B. The total sample used based on the screening results is 120 adolescents. 60 adolescents from class A were given the intervention group, and 60 adolescents from class B were made the control group and did not receive group supportive therapy. The sampling technique used in this study was the total sampling technique. The instrument used was the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). The results of the study obtained a range of mental and emotional problems of adolescents in the intervention group before therapy, namely emotional problems 48.3%, behavioral problems 26.7%, peer problems 12.5%, and hyperactivity 12.5%. after therapy, emotional problems were 45%, behavioral problems 16.6%, hyperactivity 3.33%, and peer problems 13.3%. This shows that there is a significant difference between the range of mental and emotional problems after being given supportive group therapy.

Abstract

Permintaan untuk perawat terampil di sektor kesehatan industri Indonesia terus meningkat, didorong oleh industrialisasi yang berkembang dan kebutuhan akan layanan kesehatan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor utama yang memengaruhi keputusan perawat Indonesia untuk mengejar karier di layanan kesehatan industri, termasuk motivasi pribadi, profesional, dan organisasi. PRISMA digunakan untuk menganalisis publikasi dari PubMed, Google Scholar, dan Mendeley mengenai motivasi karier perawat Indonesia di bidang kesehatan industri. Setelah penyaringan, 12 studi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi (studi empiris/konseptual; Indonesia/negara berkembang; tidak termasuk penelitian berbasis rumah sakit) dianalisis. Kerangka PICOT digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi disparitas signifikan.Analisis PRISMA mengkaji 12 studi yang memenuhi syarat mengungkapkan bahwa keputusan karier perawat Indonesia di sektor kesehatan industri terutama didorong oleh gaji (67% studi) dan keseimbangan kerja-hidup (58%), dengan peluang pengembangan profesional sebagai faktor sekunder kunci (42%). Analisis PICOT menemukan disparitas antara perawat di lingkungan industri (n=8 studi) dibandingkan dengan rumah sakit (n=4 studi pembanding). Faktor budaya, termasuk pengaruh keluarga (33% studi) dan persepsi prestise sosial, secara unik membentuk pilihan karier dalam konteks Indonesia. Hanya 2 studi (17%) yang membahas dampak kebijakan terhadap distribusi tenaga kerja, mengindikasikan kesenjangan bukti yang kritis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pembuat kebijakan dan institusi kesehatan mengembangkan kurikulum OHN yang terarah dan paket insentif khusus industri untuk meningkatkan retensi tenaga kerja dan pengembangan profesional di sektor ini.

Abstract

Masalah kesehatan dan Kecelakaan sehari-hari disekolah masih sering terjadi, efektifitas menggunakan perlengkapan pertolongan pertama (P3K) yang tersedia menjadi hal penting. Anak usia sekolah mempunyai karakteristik seperti senang bermain, aktif bergerak, dan senang bekerja kelompok. Pertolongan pertama di sekolah adalah upaya awal maupun pertolongan dan perawatan (prehospital), Kesiapan terhadap sarana Pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan (P3K) merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Metode menggunakan pendekatan Cooperatif learning dengan teknik demontrasi dan simulasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan di bulan Oktober-November tahun 2023. Rancangan evaluasi menggunakan menggunakan Instrumen checklist dan observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh yakni jumlah responden sebanyak 20 orang yang setelah diberikan tindakan diperoleh sebesar 18 (90%). Hasil dari penilaian ketrampilan meningkat menjadi 16 Orang (80%) yang mampu melakukan tindakan. Teknik dan metode yang dipakai perlu menjadi perhatian penting. Teknik seharusnya menyesuaikan dengan keadaan peserta dan level tingkatan pendidikan. Kesimpulan adalah Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang lebih baik dan benar Kepada guru dan karyawan disekolah perlu untuk menjadi perhatian terhadap masalah kesehatan dan kecelakaan sehari-hari sebab hal ini menjadi faktor penting dalam penaganan korban selanjutnya. Disisi lain, perhatian terhadap penderita akan berdampak sangat baik terhadap instansikarena masyarakat merasa ada kepedulian dari pihak sekolah.
