Abstract

Fast development technology on era now raises exists shift pattern life on society to be all instant and practical including pattern consumption. Instant noodles is wrong one food lots of instant favored. Behavior consumption noodles instant by part big consumer based on with reason no have enough time for consume a complete meal especially for cook and present it. Consumption noodles that instant too often could increase risk and danger for health. Destination study this for knowing description Instant Noodle Consumption Behavior of Students at Public Health Faculty UNDANA living in bording house in Oesapa. Type study this descriptive with approach qualitative. Location study in bording house Oesapa. Time study conducted from month October until November 2022. Amount informants 10 people namely 8 informants key and 2 informants supporters. Technique determination informant use technique snowball sampling. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis that is data reduction, display data on considered things important, and make conclusion . Results study showing frequency consumption noodles instant on informant 2 up to 5 times deep a week. Amount consumption noodles instant every presentation informant use 1 pack, current menu variations presentation informant add sausage and egg. Time consumption, informants consume noodles instant in time eat afternoon and eat night. Should resident students in cost consume noodles instant no in a manner excessive because could cause problem health like obesity, hypertension and disease other. Addition ingredient other food inside serve noodles instant like vegetables green also need for fulfillment needs the nutrients needed by body.

Abstract

The Southwest Sumba District Health Office noted that 27 HIV cases and 17 AIDS cases were recorded in 2018 with a total of 44 people. In 2019, the number of cases decreased slightly, 21 HIV cases and 21 AIDS cases with a total of 42 people. This study aims to describe the knowledge characteristics and self-stigma of PLHIV (People Living with HIV/AIDS) at Karitas Weetebula Hospital, Southwest Sumba Regency, in 2021. This quantitative descriptive research with a cross-sectional approach was conducted from February to March 2022, involving 42 PLHIV as samples selected through total sampling. The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge about HIV/AIDS (73.8%) and the majority were employed as civil servants, entrepreneurs, or laborers (61.9%). Self-stigma among respondents was relatively low; however, social participation (59.6%) and community acceptance of PLHIV (54.8%) remained low. This study recommends enhancing HIV/AIDS health education, particularly in rural communities, to reduce stigma and discrimination against PLHIV

Abstract

Young coconut ice drink is one of the snacks known for its delicious taste and its practical and fresh preparation in Kupang. Young coconut ice drinks have the potential to be contaminated so that they can cause food-borne illnesses (food borne diseases). One of the causes is the Escherichia coli bacterium, which occurs because of the hygienic treatment of foods that do not meet the health requirements. This type of research is descriptive by examining the contents of Escherichia coli and the hygiene description of young coconut drinks suitable for street food snacks in the Oebobo district from 17 to 22 July 2019. The research involves grocers and coconut ice-creams, as well as raw materials for the production of water in all young coconut ice drink producers in the Oebobo district. The number of young coconut ice drink producers in the Oebobo district is 10, so the total sample was used in this study. The data collection method uses observational sheets. The results of this study indicate that there are 6 out of 10 positive samples containing Escherichia coli bacteria, based on the Ministerial Decree of the Republic of Indonesia No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010. The presence of Escherichia coli is said to be contaminated. There are 4 out of 10 manufacturers that meet the health requirements for food handling, equipment, water, food ingredients, additives and service, outlets and dealer centers, based on the Health Minister Decree No. 942 / MENKES / SK / VII / 2003 of the Republic of Indonesia in Terms of hygiene food for snacks.
