Abstract

This research examines the implementation of a performance-based reward system through a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 15 informants from the service industry in Indonesia. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Findings show 60% of organizations are adopting a hybrid approach that integrates financial and non-financial elements, while 25% are still maintaining traditional systems. System transparency (92%) was identified as a critical success factor, followed by management support (87%) and cultural fit (83%). Top challenges include technology integration (65%) and resistance to change (58%). This research highlights the importance of adapting reward systems in line with employee needs and the organizational cultural context. The practical implications of these findings suggest the need for integration of reward systems with organizational strategic goals and a gradual approach in system transformation to achieve optimal results in increasing employee motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Tujuan yang penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor individu, faktor kepemimpinan, faktor tim, faktor sistem, dan faktor lingkungan terhadap kinerja guru pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Tinambung. Desain penelitian yaitu penelitian survey dengan tujuan eksplanatif. Subyek penelitian yaitu 74 guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Tinambung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan regresi berganda. Empat variabel berkontribusi terhadap kinerja guru yaitu variabel individu, kepemimpinan, tim kerja dan situasional. Nilai signifikansinya secara berturut-turut adalah 0,009; 0,001; 0,000, dan 0,003 yang lebih kecil daripada 0,05 dan berarti terdapat kontribusi secara signifikan. Sementara hanya satu variabel tidak berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, yaitu variabel sistem. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of individual, leadership, teamwork, system, and environmental on the teachers’ performance at MTs Negeri Tinambung. Research design used survey method with explanatory purpose. The subject of the study were 74 teachers MTsN Tinambung. Data analysis used multiple regression. Four variables which contribute to the teacher performance are individual, leadership, teamwork, and situational. The significance value in a row is 0,009; 0.001; 0.000, and 0.003 which are smaller than 0.05, and it means there is a significant contribution. While there is only one variable that does not contribute significantly to the teachers’ performance that is system variable.

Abstract

Packaging is a crucial aspect that consumers consider when selecting a product to consume. Therefore, as an entrepreneur, it is essential to prioritize this aspect in business management. Based on a survey conducted, it was found that in Rapang Village, several people engage in the production of palm sugar, but none of the entrepreneurs have unique packaging. Hence, assistance was provided in packaging design, followed by socialization, with the aim of increasing product recognition within the community and attracting consumer interest in choosing the product for consumption. The method used in the assistance process involved direct support to entrepreneurs in determining the brand and label for the packaging. Furthermore, the assistance extended to the installation of a signboard in front of the house of one of the palm sugar entrepreneurs in Rapang Village, Tapango District.The results of this activity led to the creation of a new product with more attractive packaging than before. Additionally, this initiative had a positive impact by raising awareness about the importance of product packaging and motivating entrepreneurs to further develop their businesses.
