Abstract

The study was conducted from March to May 2016, in the buffer zone of Giam Siak Kecil Wildlife Reserve (SM GSK) Pinggir sub district of Bengkalis, Riau province. Purpose of the study Describe forest and land cover changes as well as hotspot spreads in the GSK SM buffer zone and describe the level of community participation in preventing forest and land fires in SM GSK buffer zones. The result is that the change of forest and land cover in the buffer zone of SM GSK in 2003-2015 occurred due to the opening of land for cultivation activities. The most significant changes occurred in the type of plantation land closure of 31.32% of the buffer area of SM GSK, followed by the swamp bush 15.29%, secondary forest of 10.87% and the plantation forest 9.40%. Data of fire point in sub-district in 2003 as many as 150 points, in 2009 as many as 161 points and 2015 only 31 points. The level of community participation in preventing the occurrence of forest and land fires in the buffer zone of SM GSK is influenced by high economic needs factor (60.16%), knowledge level (49.99%), social needs (59.09%) and implementation Regulations and law enforcement (54.09%) in the medium category. Overall factor of community participation level was in medium category (56,51%).

Abstract

Terdapat berbagai macam permasalahan sosial di dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang sangat sulit untuk ditangani. Salah satunya adalah tindak pelecehan atau kekerasan seksual. Tindak pelecehan atau kekerasan seksual dapat dipacu oleh berbagai faktor dan salah satunya adalah faktor lingkungan. Kasus pelecehan atau kekerasan seksual juga dapat terjadi di mana saja termasuk di dalam lingkungan kampus. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan, sikap, serta cara pandang mahasiswa terhadap tindak pelecehan atau kekerasan seksual di lingkungan kampus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan studi literatur dengan penggunaan serta penyebaran kuesioner terhadap mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian menyebutkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai kasus kekerasan atau pelecehan seksual sudah cukup baik. Mahasiswa juga sudah mengetahui bagaimana caranya bersikap serta memberikan pendapat terhadap kasus pelecehan atau kekerasan seksual. Various kinds of social problems in people's lives are very difficult to handle. One of them is sexual harassment or violence. Sexual harassment or violence can be triggered by various factors and one of them is environmental factors. Cases of sexual harassment or violence can also occur anywhere, including on campus. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to find out how the knowledge, attitudes, and perspectives of students towards acts of harassment or sexual violence in the campus environment. The research method used is a literature study with the use and distribution of questionnaires to students. The results of the study stated that students understanding of cases of violence or sexual harassment was quite good. Students also know how to act and give opinions on cases of sexual harassment or violence.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs must keep up with technological developments to compete in an increasingly competitive business environment. This competition causes price fluctuations that affect sales, requiring the right decisions for business survival. Cotton fabric is highly favored by consumers in the textile industry. The success and failure of this business depends on pricing. Setting a selling price too high may cause customer dissatisfaction, while setting a price too low may cause business losses. Therefore, determining an optimal selling price is crucial. Adopting fuzzy logic is proposed as a solution for this problem. Fuzzy logic can be applied to predict the selling price of cotton fabrics. This test aims to determine the selling price of cotton cloth by making a Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) using the Mamdani method with variables of material quality, production method, design, and coloring method as considerations. The results of this test show that the comparison of the system made by manual calculation and simulation with Python has an error rate of 0,00019% calculated by MAPE. Based on the results, this system is useful as an auxiliary tool in making decisions because it is able to overcome uncertainty in determining the selling price of cotton fabric.

Abstract

Danez Health Care is a pharmaceutical service facility that has been established since 2014 and now has 1 Clinic branch and 4 Pharmacy branches in Purwakarta, Bekasi and Bogor. Danez Health Care's head office is in the same location as its clinic, namely in Bogor. However, the attendance process that occurs at Danez Health Care is still done manually by each branch which makes it difficult for Finance / HRD to control working hours and calculate the net salary of employees at each branch. Seeing the existing problems and to make it easier for Finance/HRD to control employee working hours and attendance accuracy, a website-based employee attendance and payroll application is needed using the Laravel framework and scrum methodology. To produce salary calculations that are directly systemised on employee attendance data, it also makes it easier to collect attendance data. The design of the application uses UML design tools, balsamiq mockup, xampp and mysql as a database. The results of this study are in the form of an attendance application that can be directly connected to the calculation of employee net salaries every month, and can produce pay slips, employee absence recap data from all branches, calculation of employee net salaries that can provide information quickly to Finance/HRD.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies employed by the Muara Enim Regency Government to enhance business sector participation in increasing Locally-Generated Revenue (PAD). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research explores the policies, initiatives, and outcomes associated with fostering collaboration between the government and private sector. Key strategies include the provision of fiscal incentives, streamlined licensing through digital platforms, investment promotion, and the alignment of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs with regional development goals. These initiatives have significantly improved the region's economic potential and contributed to a 20.64% increase in PAD from 2023 to 2024, reflecting the effectiveness of business engagement in local financial growth. Despite these achievements, challenges such as bureaucratic inefficiencies, inadequate infrastructure, and economic volatility persist. Supporting factors include strong government leadership, regulatory simplifications, and active collaboration with businesses, while obstacles like limited human resource capacity and dependency on extractive industries hinder long-term progress. The research highlights the necessity for continuous evaluation, diversification of revenue sources, and the integration of CSR with sustainable development plans to ensure regional economic resilience. This study provides valuable insights into the critical role of business sector participation in enhancing regional revenue and offers recommendations for replicating such strategies in other regions seeking economic self-sufficiency.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang kerap terjadi pada suatu bidang usaha yang masih menerapkan sistem konvensional baik pada pemasaran, pengelolaan, dan pemesanan penjualan membuat transaksi yang dikelola menjadi kurang cepat dan up to date. Dalam menghadapi era perdagangan modern, perkembangan teknologi saat ini dipergunakan seoptimal mungkin untuk memenuhi tuntutan dalam dunia usaha. Hal ini perlu didukung oleh tersedianya sistem informasi yang cepat dan tepat sehingga dapat memperlancar dan mendukung berjalannya pengelolaan suatu bidang usaha. Dengan metode prototyping yang diterapkan dalam penelitian, penulis berharap dapat memperbaiki sistem yang sedang berjalan, untuk memberikan kemudahan pada pengguna dalam melakukan pengelolaan sistem informasi, sehingga meningkatkan kinerja bidang usaha lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka, menghasilkan sistem informasi berbasis website sebagai alat bantu pengelolaan dan pemesanan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pada bidang usaha, sehingga diperoleh banyak manfaat, dan disimpulkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian sistem usulan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada Katering Waroeng Boele, kegiatan transaksi yang dilakukan menjadi lebih cepat dan tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leadership style, professional ethics, and organizational commitment on auditor performance with professional ethics as a moderating variable. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research. The data collection method used was a field survey method with primary data. The technique used is by distributing questionnaires to 79 respondents of external auditors who work in Public Accounting Firms in the South Jakarta area. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. Testing the research data is processed using SmartPLS version 33. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on auditor performance, professional ethics has a positive and insignificant effect on auditor performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on auditor performance, leadership style has no significant effect on auditor performance. significant effect on professional ethics, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on professional ethics, leadership style has an effect on professional ethics is not successfully moderated by auditor performance and organizational commitment to professional ethics is moderated by auditor performance

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the impact of understanding the electronic accounting system, system quality, penalties, and gender on the level of tax obligations of individual taxpayers. The inspection site will be at the Pratama Jakarta Cilandak Tax Office. This survey is a quantitative survey using a primary data source in the form of a questionnaire. This survey data collection method used a random sampling technique with a sample of 100 respondents. A method of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis in the program SPSS22.0 These results show that, among other things, understanding of electronic billing systems, system quality, and tax penalties have a significant impact, while gender variables do not significantly affect the degree of compliance by individual taxpayers. I am. The results of the simultaneous investigation show that an individual's understanding of the electronic accounting system, system quality, tax penalties, and gender can have a significant impact on an individual's tax compliance.

Abstract

Having a Business Identification Number and its management is carried out electronically, the aim is to guarantee the legality of a business, increase opportunities for; business, get training, take part in government procurement of goods/services, certify halal product guarantees, and SNI certificate for UMK development, or in other words to get a sign of business ownership and make it easier to run a business. The socialization of making NIB is a collaboration between UMJ and the owner of C. DOFF COFFEE as a form of community service. In the form of counseling and assistance regarding the importance of obtaining permits. The output that is being processed is to publish the results of this activity in the Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Nusantara.

Abstract

One of the important elements that must be considered in starting a business is the brand. Brand image has the meaning of an image of a product in the minds of consumers. Everyone will have the same image of a brand. Through Brand Image consumers are able to recognize a product, evaluate its qualy, reduce purchase risk and gain experience and satisfaction from certain product differentiation. There are problems faced by Small Medium Enterprises (SME) assisted by Amil Zakat agency (Baznas) in Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Based on the interviews conducted, the problems identified were the Brand building itself.  The SMME focuses on sales strategy. It is found that the solution offered is to overcome the said problem by providing assistance and counseling about the importance of building the brand so that it can provide added value and have an impact on increasing profits which will ultimately build reputation and create growth opportunities for SMEs.
