Abstract

Business competition in the field of selling school uniforms in Medan is currently very tight. UD Rohana is a business unit engaged in the sale and purchase of school uniforms. At UD Rohana itself, at every moment the increasing demand often experiences problems in stocking and distributing existing uniforms to consumers (shops / retailers). This of course will be a loss for UD Rohana in carrying out its business turnaround. For this we need a system that can monitor and check the condition of the stock of goods in several stores. So that if there is an increase in demand or sales in one shop where the demanded goods are accumulated in another shop, then UD Rohana can distribute them to the stores that need them. Supply chain management in the business world has adopted a lot of Supply Chain Management (SCM). With implementing SCM, we can control the existing business processes at UD Rohana. For methods in system development using Rapid Application Development (RAD) and for system business processes using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of this study are the development of a school uniform distribution information system successfully developed by adopting the SCM system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi absensi karyawan berbasis Face Recognition pada Universitas Harapan Medan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kurangnya efektivitas sistem absensi yang saat ini digunakan, yaitu menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp dengan foto wajah dan nama pegawai. Dalam kondisi bekerja dari rumah selama pandemi Covid-19, sistem absensi tersebut tidak akurat dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan absensi berbasis identifikasi wajah atau Face Recognition diusulkan. Metode kerja penelitian ini mencakup tahapan persiapan bahan dan alat, pelaksanaan prosedur penelitian, analisis sistem absensi berbasis Face Recognition, serta pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi perancangan sistem absensi berbasis Face Recognition menggunakan UML dengan Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, dan Activity Diagram. Selain itu, dirancang juga antarmuka pengguna berupa halaman web yang meliputi halaman login, dashboard admin, data karyawan, data departemen, data kehadiran, laporan, setting, dashboard user, dan halaman absensi. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), dengan tahapan perencanaan, analisis, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Setelah implementasi sistem, dilakukan pengujian untuk memastikan bahwa semua kebutuhan fungsional terpenuhi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengujian sistem, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi absensi berbasis Face Recognition ini dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan akurasi proses absensi karyawan di Universitas Harapan Medan.

Abstract

− PT.Centech Metals Engineering is a company that was founded in 2000 engaged in the Butterfly Valve, Ball Valve, Air Control Unit, Ductile Valve, High Pressure Pipe Fitting, Inverted Bucket Steam Trap industry. The company address is at Jl. Personality No. 36, Medan, North Sumatra. As an industrial company, Pt.Centech Metals Engineering has a lot of transaction data and customer data that can be utilized to improve business performance and provide better service to customers. So far, the company does not have an application that is able to identify customer purchasing patterns and recommend suitable products for them. The company only has a POS (Point Of Sale) system such as the cashier available at the company and accounting applications. The right product recommendations can help increase customer satisfaction and strengthen customer loyalty. By recommending the right products to customers, companies can increase sales and expand market share. The application of data mining techniques in product recommendations can also help companies optimize product stock. The results of this research are that the Apriori Algorithm is effectively used to recommend products at PT. Abstract

Clustering and classification technologies are pivotal in data analysis, helping to uncover hidden patterns in complex datasets. Despite their broad applications across fields such as pattern recognition, market segmentation, anomaly detection, and weather prediction, these techniques face significant limitations. Clustering methods like K-Means assume known cluster numbers and data distributions, while classification approaches such as K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) rely heavily on the quality of labeled data. These challenges are particularly pronounced in the context of dynamic weather data, which exhibits high variability and complexity. This research addresses these limitations by integrating probabilistic multi-class labeling with an adaptive K-Means clustering approach. Probabilistic labeling allows data points to belong to multiple classes, reflecting the nuanced nature of overlapping weather conditions. Adaptive K-Means dynamically determines the optimal number of clusters, overcoming traditional constraints. By combining these methods with KNN classification, the proposed approach enhances the accuracy of weather classification. KNN leverages cluster centroids and class probabilities to provide more precise predictions. This approach provides a robust foundation for further research and optimization of adaptive methods applicable to other complex data types. Ultimately, the proposed model contributes significantly to advancing data analysis methods, particularly for dynamic and multi-class datasets like weather data.

Abstract

Mr.Boba is a company that sells various variants of drinks such as durian juice, boba and so on. The sales process is still done manually or handwritten and payment transactions can also only be done in cash. One of the obstacles that employees have faced is that customers want to pay non-cash but do not provide qris and the like. When employees process reports every time the store closes, it takes quite a long time. With this web-based point of sales system, it really helps employees to be faster and more efficient in their work. This system was built with the RAD method which is structured from requirement planning, workshop design and implementation and the framework used is the Laravel framework. Testing on this system shows good results with the blackbox testing method. The results of this study aim to facilitate employees to record both cash and non-cash transactions and computerized reports to umkm owners. Abstract

Digital marketing is one method used by business actors to introduce their products and services to the public. Apart from that, digital marketing can also be used as a transaction medium between sellers and buyers. With digital marketing, product marketing reach can be wider and reach more people. Customer and marketing costs can be reduced and made more efficient. Village Stalls is one of the service team's proposals to help business actors market  their products. In order to further promote the website, it is necessary to introduce business actors regarding the use of the website. Furthermore, the team also helps entrepreneurs or administrators with registration and provides an introduction to the features they have. From this activity, it is hoped that the marketing of business actors' products will be broader and can help increase the level of income of the people in the village.

Abstract

The development of computer technology nowadays has progressed very rapidly in line with the development of computer and telecommunication technology, making communication more open and information exchange faster, however not all developments in communication technology have had a positive and beneficial impact. One of the negative impacts of technological development is the existence of wiretapping, with the presence of encrypted tapping, the security aspect in exchanging important information. The problem of sending messages (e-mail), be its agencies, education, government, private and others, must contain confidential information, so encryption of the message is required. Encryption of information is important to support information security, because it can guarantee message security. Therefore, encryption is needed by users who have information that is guaranteed its confidentiality. One way to store data sent via email is to use cryptography. The Affine Cipher is an extension of the Caesar Cipher which multiplies the plaintext by a value and adds a shift. Creating an application by implementing cryptography using the Affine Cipher is one way of maintaining the confidentiality of information and is very important. The results obtained from this research are that the application created can change the content of existing messages and can store information that is available when sending e-mails. The process of encoding messages using the Affine Cipher algorithm is successfully used to hide secret messages into text.

Abstract

Information technology is a process from obtaining data to processing and analyzing the data so that it is stored in various ways to create or produce quality information. Currently, the development of information technology is very rapid and fast, including in Indonesia itself, therefore this research explores the Android-based design "Design and Build an Android-Based Customer Menu Recording Application at Benu Coffee Shop Using Agile Methods". Benu Coffee Shop, as a favorite place in the city center, faces challenges in the ordering system which still uses manual methods using pen and paper. Therefore, a system is needed that can manage menu orders according to customer and cafe needs. The Agile method was chosen for the development of this system because of its flexibility in adapting to changing needs. This research includes needs analysis, design of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and databases. This system allows admins to manage menus, tables, customers and sales reports. System testing is carried out using the black-box method to ensure the expected functionality. Test results show success in displaying the login page, navigation and customer menu ordering. This system is expected to improve efficiency and service quality at Benu Coffee Shop by providing solutions that are responsive to changing needs.

Abstract

Mekanik merupakan pekerjaan yang membutuhkan keahlian khusus dalam memperbaiki mesin. Peningkaan jumlah pengunjung harus diimbangi dengan kinerja mekanik dalam memperbaiki kendaraan bermotor. Pada saat ini penerimaan calon mekanik PT. Daya Anugrah Mandiri masih dilakukan oleh HRD secara langsung. Calon mekanik yang ingin bekerja datang ke bengkel, Kemudian PT. Daya Anugrah Mandiri menerima calon mekanik yang melamar bekerja. Oleh karena itu, mekanik yang telah bekerja di PT. Daya Anugrah Mandiri tidak sesuai dengan keahlian yang dimilihi oleh calon pelamar. Perusahaan ini juga melakukan penerimaan mekanik baru berdasarkan kriteria yang diterapkan seperti pendidikan terakhir dari calon pelamar, usia, pengalaman kerja yang dimiliki, hasil psikotest, hasil interview dan bidang keahlian dari calon mekanik. Sehingga mengakibatkan proses penerimaan mekanik tidak sesaui dengan bidang keahlian dan kemampuan dari calon mekanik. PT. Daya Anugrah Mandiri sering melakukan pergantian mekanik, hal ini mempengaruhi kinerja dari bengkel motor ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mangatasi masalah yang dialami oleh pemilik PT. Daya Anugrah Mandiri, dengan adanya sistem pendukung keputusan dapat mengurangi permasalahan yang terjadi

Abstract

Penguasaan data sains menjadi keterampilan yang semakin dibutuhkan di era digital, termasuk bagi lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) pada bidang Teknologi Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) serta Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL). Namun, pembelajaran mengenai analisis data di tingkat SMK masih terbatas, sehingga siswa kurang memahami bagaimana data dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidangnya. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar data sains kepada siswa SMK Nurul Amalia Tanjung Morawa melalui pelatihan berbasis praktik. Kegiatan ini melibatkan beberapa tahap, mulai dari penyusunan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah pendekatan teoritis dan hands-on learning melalui studi kasus yang relevan dengan dunia industri. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dasar data sains serta keterampilan mereka dalam melakukan analisis data sederhana. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi untuk mendalami lebih lanjut bidang ini. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, disarankan agar materi data sains diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum SMK serta dilakukan pelatihan lanjutan untuk memperdalam keterampilan siswa dalam analisis data dan implementasi teknologinya. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan industri dapat menjadi langkah strategis untuk memperkuat kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja berbasis data.
