Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) ialah satu diantara beberapa faktor produksi yang mempunyai peran penting dalam suatu perusahaan karena mempunyai karakteristik yang begitu spesifik jika dibandingkan faktor lain. PT. Benua Indah Tuban adalah perusahaan yang menghasilkan produksi clay sebagai bahan dasar pupuk. Karyawan dalam perusahaan berikut kerap melakukan interaksi bersama lingkungan kerja yang sama dengan kondisi yang berubah-ubah. Kinerja karyawan PT. Benua Indah Tuban selama bulan Januari-Oktober 2020 mengalami penurunan. Dengan demikian diperlukan penelitian tentang pengaruh faktor – faktor lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Benua Indah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan bagian produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan lingkungan sosial, lingkungan fisik, dan lingkungan organisasional sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, untuk analisa data maka digunakan uji model dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Smart PLS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan 50 sampel dengan memakai sampel bersamaan dengan populasi atau yang biasa disebut sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa variabel lingkungan fisik memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 64,2% dan lingkungan organisasional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar 28,6%. Sedangkan variabel lingkungan sosial tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sebesar -3,9%. Model prediksi dari hasil penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan variabel kepuasan pelanggan sebesar 63,2% (R2= 0,632).

Abstract

Bahasa inggris ialah suatu bahasa internasional yang paling mendominasi komunikasi pada semua negara hingga seluruh dunia. Yang terdapat dalam baku nasional pendidikan anak usia dini yaitu bahasa ialah suatu syarat yang diukur dalam sistem pendidikan anak usia dini. sosialisasi serta pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sejak dini yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan serta tahu dalam kehidupan sehari-hariya menggunakan bahasa inggris. Aplikasi Comma sebagai media dalam belajar bahasa Inggris dinilai sangat berguna serta efektif dipergunakan pada proses belajar dan mengajar pada kelas, khususnya dalam pembelajaran anak PAUD. Sebagaimana dalam penelitian terdahulu bahwa Aplikasi Comma adalah aplikasi pembelajaan Bahasa Inggris untuk PAUD yang dikembangkan dengan metode pembelajaran TPR (Total Physical Rersponse). Penelitian pada kali ini telah merancangan suatu Aplikasi program komputer berbasis android untuk pembelajaran bahasa inggris yakni Aplikasi Comma yang siap di terapkan pada proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Aplikasi Comma hadir sebagai suatu media yang diharapkan serta dapat membantu pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar khususnya pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Aplikasi comma merupakan aplikasi berbasis android yang dirancang melalui beberapa tahapan dan juga menggunakan pendekatan metode pembelajaran TPR (Total Physical Response) yang dinilai sangat efektif dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa asing bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

The era of globalization has ushered in a heightened level of competition in the marketing landscape. This heightened competition among products in the market prompts manufacturers to engage in extensive promotional activities to capture consumer attention. With this backdrop, this research endeavors to explore the impact of Online Advertising and Consumer Attitudes on Consumer Purchase Intentions. The study adopted a random sampling approach and utilized a quantitative survey method, targeting a population size of 100, with a sample size of 80 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS 29. The findings of the study unveil that Consumer Purchase Intentions are significantly influenced by both Online Advertising and Consumer Attitudes. Regression analysis underscores the positive and significant influence of consumer attitudes on purchase intentions, with a coefficient of 0.348, while online advertising exerts a positive impact with a coefficient of 0.314. In light of the research findings, the Adjusted R Square percentage stands at 57.4%, indicating that Online Advertising and Consumer Attitudes collectively contribute to a substantial 57.4% influence on Consumer Purchase Intentions. The remaining 42.6% variance is attributed to other unexplored factors. These findings underscore the pivotal role of online advertising and consumer attitudes in shaping consumer purchase behaviors in today's highly competitive market environment.

Abstract

Websites are essential for agencies and organizations to ensure their information is accessible to the public. The eye tracker method is effective for evaluating user usability. The Industrial Engineering Study Program at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" East Java has an official website, tekindustri.upnjatim.ac.id, which has not been tested for usability. Initial problem identification revealed issues such as inaccessible menus and hidden information. This study aims to assess and improve the user experience on the website using a combination of Eye Tracking and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. The average effectiveness score for 39 respondents is 89.10%, with 8% rated as ineffective, 28% as effective enough, and 64% as very effective. The efficiency value, measured across 39 respondents and 4 tasks, is 0.0276 goals/second, indicating each respondent completes 2.76% of tasks per second, requiring about 36.23 seconds to reach 100% task completion. The initial SUS score was 69.49%. Five issues were identified in the Home, Facilities, Education, Thesis, and MBKM sections and one design issue. A prototype was developed and tested, resulting in a final SUS score of 80.06%, placing the website in the marginally high acceptability range, category B for grade scale, and excellent for adjective ratings. The SUS score improvement was 10.57%. This research shows that combining Eye Tracking and SUS is an effective method for increasing website usability. The implications of this research can help organizations improve the quality of their websites and provide a better user experience.

Abstract

Manufacturing companies spend a significant amount of time and money designing or redesigning their facilities. It is an extremely important function that must be addressed before products are produced. Manufacturing company’s common problem is that they do not have a pattern for placing goods in their warehouse. It leads to problems such as difficulties when taking the product from storage. With storage procedures like this, it can make long total distance for loading and unloading the goods. Dedicated storage policy where storage is done at a certain location according to the type of item needs to be made. The advantage of this method is ease in finding goods as the location can be tailored to the shape of the goods. The research results show an efficiency of the displacement distance of 4117 m, the initial layout distance of moving goods is 5740 m, while in the proposed layout it is 1622 m.

Abstract

Studi kasus ini mendalami permasalahan yang muncul sehubungan dengan efektivitas pendidikan bela negara dalam membentuk moral mahasiswa di lingkungan UPN "veteran" jawa timur. Diantaranya tergambar pada pandangan publik yang menilai dan mempertanyakan apa korelasi pendidikan bela negara dengan pembentukan moral mahasiswa. Melalui pemaparan studi kasus meninjau tingkat efektivitas pendidikan bela negara dalam pembentukan moral mahasiswa yang diidentifikasi dan dijelaskan tiap aspek permasalahannya dan diperkuat analisis untuk memastikan keakuratan dan konsistensi temuan. Dengan menggabungkan spss dan metode uji validitas dan reliabilitas, jurnal ini akan menyajikan pemahaman tentang tantangan pendidikan bela negara, dan memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk merekomendasikan solusi yang dapat diandalkan. Variabel valid dan tidak valid dapat dilihat dari nilai pearson correlation (rhitung) dan signifikansi statistiknya. Dalam kasus ini, variabel yang memiliki nilai rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel misalnya frekuensi mengikuti kegiatan bela negara (0,539 > 0,3610) dan nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,03 (0,000 < 0,03) dianggap valid. Sebagai contoh frekuensi mengikuti kegiatan bela negara, pemahaman cinta tanah air, efektifitas kurikulum dalam integrasi nilai bela negara, persetujuan hubungan ekstrakurikuler dengan bela negara, peran dosen membimbing mahasiswa dalam bela negara, kegiatan relawan dengan bela negara dianggap valid karena nilai rhitung > rtabel. Jika terdapat variabel tidak valid, penelitian perlu evaluasi dan analisis ulang pada instrumen yang digunakan sedangkan jika semua variabel telah dinyatakan valid, penelitian dapat melanjutkan ke analisis data dan uji reliabilitas. Analisis Cronbach’s Alpha menghasilkan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,748, artinya data penelitian dianggap reliabel/dapat dipercaya (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0,6).

Abstract

PG XYZ is a company part of agribusiness which operates in the sugar cane agroindustry in the Sidoarjo area. PT. PG XYZ is trying to minimize the stopping hours for each mill for six months. With the Urgency, Seriousness, Growth (USG) analysis method, the causes and effects can be identified and minimized so that the company gets maximum profits in an efficient time. The sugar cane milling activity is an important part of the company's production system and has risks that have a very large impact and often occur when milling machines stop working. This is due to factors that influence the milling machine. Based on the research results, it was found that PT. PG XYZ, the biggest thing that happened and had a lot of weight was the root causes that had an impact on the machine, namely the drive engine protection device didn't work, the limit switch didn't work, the backup device was damaged, the electric motor caught fire, the oil cylinder leaked, the gearbox shaft broke. Meanwhile, for the weighting of the solution. PT. PG XYZ doubles the driving machine as a double drive, upgrades the driving machine, buys a bigger chain, adds human resources, makes spare tools. With this weighting, it is hoped that we can control stopping hours based on problem data and the most effective solutions and industrial activities run well and produce the best quality.

Abstract

The implementation of health, safety and environment (HSE) programmes is crucial in industrial operations, especially in warehouses, which are high-risk areas for industrial accidents. This study focuses on optimising the HSE programme in the warehouse of a steel pipe manufacturing plant in East Java using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) method. The HIRADC approach systematically identifies potential hazards, assesses risk levels and determines appropriate control measures to minimise risks. The study identified significant risks associated with pipe loading and unloading activities, such as falling pipes and equipment malfunctions. Control measures, including the installation of safety signage, preventive maintenance, crane use and the use of personal protective equipment, were implemented to reduce the risks. The study concludes that the implementation of HIRADC is effective in reducing risks and creating a safer working environment.

Abstract

Dwelling time is the time required for import containers since the container is unloaded from the time the ship docks until it leaves the port area or Temporary Storage Area (TPS). This research aims to analyse and improve the dwell time in the import process at PT XYZ using the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology. The DMAIC approach is used to identify the root causes of high dwell time in the project during the period July 2021 to June 2022 and to design effective improvement solutions. The results of the study showed that one of the main factors causing the problem was the late delivery of shipping documents by the supplier. Based on the calculation of DPMO and Sigma value, it is found that the average Defect Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) is 107208.99 and the average Sigma value is 2.75, which is categorised into Sigma level 2. Therefore, it is claimed that the sigma value is still far from the desired value of 6, so long term improvements are needed for the smooth running of the next project to achieve the national dwell time target of 3 days.

Abstract

Labour serves as a critical resource that has a significant impact on a company's operations and financial results, particularly in the oil and gas sector, which contributes to national economic development. This research focuses on evaluating the impact of workforce size on the financial performance of PT Migas using regression and correlation analysis techniques. The study uses financial ratios such as return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) and operating costs as data variables. The results show a weak inverse relationship between the number of employees and ROA, with a correlation coefficient of -0.526, indicating a negative association. Similarly, the correlation between the number of employees and ROE is calculated at -0.332, while the correlations with operating expenses and EBITDA are -0.991 and -0.848 respectively, all indicating a negative trend. Over the three-year analysis period, the results show that the size of the workforce does not have a significant impact on financial performance. This highlights the potential influence of other factors on firm performance and the need for management to implement more efficient workforce strategies. This study aims to provide valuable quantitative insights for management in formulating labour-related policies to support the company's future financial growth.
