Abstract

Technological advancements, particularly in microcontrollers and the Internet of Things (IoT), have brought significant changes to various aspects of life. Microcontrollers such as the ESP32, DS18B20 sensor, water pH sensor, and other supporting sensors enable the development of efficient automation systems. This research addresses issues related to the design and development of IoT devices for water quality monitoring, as well as the integration of these devices with web-based systems. The objective is to develop a device capable of monitoring water quality parameters such as pH, temperature, turbidity, dissolved materials, salinity projection, and dissolved oxygen projection, while providing automatic notifications under certain conditions. The development process applies the Agile methodology, which allows for rapid and adaptive iterations. Theoretically, this study contributes to improving understanding of IoT implementation and information systems, while practically, it provides a technological solution to support Koi fish farmers in monitoring and managing pond water quality. The expected outcome is a web-based water quality monitoring and management device for Koi ponds that can deliver real-time information and condition notifications, thereby reducing aquaculture risks and improving productivity.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi berperan penting dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk manajemen kinerja pegawai. PT. Labda Anugerah Tekstil menghadapi permasalahan dalam pencatatan pekerjaan harian pegawai yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga rawan terhadap kesalahan dan ketidakefisienan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini merancang dan membangun sistem informasi monitoring pencapaian target kinerja pegawai berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel dan metode Waterfall. Sistem ini mencakup fitur pencatatan aktivitas kerja pegawai, pengelolaan data tugas oleh admin, serta laporan pencapaian kinerja. Perancangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan Visual Studio Code, dengan HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, dan JavaScript untuk antarmuka pengguna, Laravel sebagai backend framework, dan TablePlus sebagai basis data. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan semua fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai spesifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan validitas pencatatan kinerja pegawai. Dengan data yang terstruktur dan terintegrasi, sistem ini mendukung pengambilan keputusan manajerial secara lebih cepat dan efektif.

Abstract

With the advancement of information and communication technology, society has become increasingly dependent on access to information through the internet. However, this growing reliance has also led to a rise in the frequency of network disruptions, which can cause delays in information dissemination and interfere with institutional operations. PLN ICON PLUS, as an Internet Service Provider (ISP), faces the challenge of monitoring 123 routers used by the customers of the Jembrana Regency Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo). This research highlights the importance of implementing a network monitoring system using Zabbix, which can provide real-time notifications through Telegram to detect disruptions and minimize downtime.Currently, PLN ICON PLUS does not yet have an effective monitoring system, resulting in delays in addressing network issues. By adopting a more advanced monitoring solution, network performance is expected to improve, enabling technical teams to respond quickly and efficiently to disruptions, thereby enhancing service quality for Diskominfo Jembrana customers. The final results of the monitoring system show that it can operate properly and consistently send real-time notifications to Telegram whenever disruptions occur on devices or network services. This proves that the system can improve the responsiveness of the technical team in handling issues and minimizing downtime. Thus, the monitoring system is considered effective in supporting proactive and efficient network management.

Abstract

This study aims to compare startup valuation results using The Dave Berkus Method and the Scorecard Method on Pesona Plastic, an early-stage social and environmental startup engaged in plastic waste recycling into furniture products in Bali. The research applies a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The valuation results show that The Dave Berkus Method produces a higher valuation of IDR 3,900,000,000 compared to the Scorecard Method, which yields IDR 3,170,700,000. The difference is mainly caused by variations in assessment focus, where The Dave Berkus Method emphasizes non-financial and internal potential factors such as business ideas, prototypes, team quality, strategic relationships, and early market acceptance. In contrast, the Scorecard Method relies more on market comparisons and industry benchmarks, which are limited for early-stage startups. Considering the development stage and characteristics of Pesona Plastic, The Dave Berkus Method is considered more relevant and representative for valuing the startup. This study contributes to startup valuation literature by providing empirical evidence on the suitability of valuation methods for early-stage social and environmental startups..

Abstract

The development of technology and information currently has a lot of impact on organizations and government, therefore an analysis is needed to find out what needs to be addressed and maximized again so that technological developments can be followed, especially by the Temesi village office, Gianyar. In carrying out village operations, the Temesi Gianyar village office uses a website provided by the government, where the site can manage village population data. However, there are still drawbacks to the use of the website, such as errors in websites and databases that frequently bug. This can occur due to the lack of stability of the internet andinfrastructure as well as the lack of potential ICT human resources at the Temesi village office. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the subject of the Temesi village office using the COBIT 5 framework as a process model measurement tool. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation and literature study methods. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of implementing information technology governance in the Temesi Gianyar village office with the conclusion that it can provide recommendations regarding references in the application and development of ICT at the villageoffice.
