Abstract

This study aims to find out how the results of the development of the e-module are to determine the feasibility of the phet virtual laboratory-assisted e-module based on material experts, and media experts, and to find out the practicality of the phet virtual laboratory-assisted e-module based on the responses of students and physics teachers . The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The research model developed is ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects in this study were all 37 students of class XI IPA at SMA PAB 4 Sampali. Based on the results of the trials that have been carried out, validation results are obtained from material experts with an average percentage score of 93% which is categorized as very feasible, while from the validation results of media experts with an average percentage score of 94% so that it is categorized as very feasible. Then to find out practicality can be seen from the percentage of scores on the response questionnaire of students who obtained a percentage score of 85%, while for the results the percentage score for physics teachers was 90%, so that overall the e-modules that have been developed are in the very practical category.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang beton dengan campuran ban bekas dan abu sekam padi sebagai agregat halus dan kasar dengan tujuan mengetahui variasi komposisi beton dengan campuran ban bekas dan abu sekam padi terhadap sifat mekanik. Ban bekas sebagai agregat kasar sedangkan abu sekam padi sebagai agregat halus. Benda uji berupa silinder 15x30 cm2 dengan standarisasi SNI 7394 – 2008 mutu K-225. Metode yang digunakan daya serap air, uji kekuatan tekanan, uji kuat tarik belah dan uji SEM. Hasil pengujian daya serap air rata – rata minimum pada komposisi 10%ban bekas 10% abu sekam padi sebesar 1.81% hal ini disebabkan sifat dari masing – masing bahan seperti ban bekas memiliki sifat tahan air sedangkan abu sekam padi menyerap air. Hasil pengujian kekuatan tekanan rata – rata maksimum campuran 10% ban bekas 10% abu sekam padi sebesar 8.39Mpa. Hasil pengujian kuat tarik belah rata – rata maksimum campuran 10% ban bekas 10% abu sekam padi sebesar 1.151Mpa. Hasil pengujian SEM pada komposisi campuran ban bekas dan abu sekam padi dengan komposisi 10% ban bekas 10% abu sekam padi karena bahan pengisi pori – pori masih tertutupi, besarnya pori – pori yang dihasilkan akan mempengaruhi beton.Kata Kunci: Daya Serap Air, Kekuatan Tekan, Kuat Tarik Belah, SEM, Ban Bekas, Abu Sekam    Padi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan model discovery learning pada pokok bahasan Elastisitas dan Hukum Hooke. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA MAN 1 Medan T.P 2023/2024. Teknik pemilihan sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIPA 2 (eksperimen) diterapkan model discovery learning dimana terdiri dari 39 siswa dan kelas XI MIPA 3 (kontrol) dengan pembelajaran konvensional yang terdiri dari 39 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes berbentuk essay sebanyak 10 soal. Tahap pertama yang dilakukan adalah memberi pretes kepada kedua kelas, untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh hasil rata-rata pretes sebesar 36,82% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 36,26%. Setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kedua kelas, peneliti memberikan postes dan hasil yang diperoleh di kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,77% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 47,59%. Hasil pengolahan data akhir postes diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang mana lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka dari itu Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Berarti terdapat pengaruh model discovery learningterhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi aplikasi akselerator nuklir dalam terapi dan penelitian kanker (2019–2025) menggunakan Schematic Literature Review (SLR). Dengan menyaring 200 jurnal, 20 artikel utama diidentifikasi, yang menyoroti kemajuan dalam teknologi akselerator. Temuan menekankan transmutasi isotop untuk pengelolaan limbah nuklir dan Spektrometri Massa Akselerator (AMS) untuk pengukuran isotop yang tepat. Studi ini juga meneliti Terapi Penangkapan Neutron Boron (BNCT) dalam mengobati glioblastoma, yang menunjukkan potensinya untuk mengurangi tumor sekaligus meminimalkan kerusakan pada jaringan sehat. Selain itu, kemajuan dalam sumber neutron kompak dan sistem akuisisi data untuk akselerator linier (LINAC) menghadirkan peluang klinis baru. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi peran penting akselerator nuklir dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ilmiah dan perawatan medis.

Abstract

Purpose This research aims to explore the effects of X-ray radiation on atomic structure from a physics perspective, with an emphasis on how the interactions take place, their effects on electron configurations, and the physical consequences that arise. This review aims to communicate a deeper understanding of how X-ray radiation changes atomic dynamics and the underlying mechanisms, by combining the results of recent research. Design/Methods/Approach The research approach uses a systematic literature review methodology, which involves the identification, selection, and analysis of relevant academic materials. The sources examined include theoretical and experimental studies related to X-ray interaction mechanisms, such as photoelectric phenomena, Compton scattering, and pair production. This approach allows for a critical analysis of previous results and the integration of data to provide a comprehensive understanding of the physical effects of X-ray radiation on atomic structure. Findings TThe findings of this review indicate that X-ray radiation can cause ionization of atoms, excitation of electrons, and also changes in subatomic particles at high energy levels. The photoelectric effect serves as the main mechanism affecting the arrangement of electrons in atomic shells, while Compton scattering shows the change in photon energy due to interaction with free electrons. Pair production is observed at very high X-ray energy levels, indicating the conversion of radiation energy into new particles. Research Implications/Limitations The implications of this study include enriching the understanding of radiation physics and developing technologies that use X-ray radiation for scientific and industrial purposes. However, there are limitations to this study, namely the lack of direct experimental evidence to support certain literature analyses. Additional research is needed to deepen the understanding of the complex interactions between X-ray radiation and atomic structures, especially under extreme conditions.

Abstract

After the covid 19 period ended, learning at Medan State University was conducted face-to-face and online, creating good learning media and design is part of the effort to achieve learning objectives effectively as mandated by the education system. This study aims to develop hybrid learning multimedia assisted by telegram, which is feasible, practical and makes students independent and influential. The research was conducted at the Physics Department of State University of Medan. The phases that will be carried out during the research are needs analysis, design of learning multimedia, development and validation of learning multimedia, implementation of multimedia to students, and internal and external evaluation. The resulting product is a learning multimedia that will be applied to partners, namely students of the Physics Department who take Modern Physics courses. This multimedia was sent to the Telegram group class of 2021 B and 2021 C students. The results of this study are: (a) the percentage of assessment scores for learning multimedia from material experts is 81% and the percentage of assessment scores from media experts is 83% (b) the percentage of student independence questionnaires is 83.8% (c) the percentage of student practicality questionnaires is 88.2% (d) N-gain for PSPF 2021-B is obtained, the result obtained is 0.23 because N-gain <0.23 in the low category and N-gain for PSPF 2021-C is obtained, the result obtained is 0.3 in the medium category.
