Abstract

Abstract

Minimarkets represent a critical sector within the retail industry, playing a fundamental role in fulfilling the daily requirements of consumers, amidst a persistent uptrend in sales value. Within the progressively competitive commercial environment, the comprehension of Customer Value has emerged as a pivotal element in augmenting Satisfaction, consequently fostering customer Loyalty, which stands as a crucial component of Consumer Behavior and is essential for ensuring the continuity of business operations. The principal aim of this research is to examine the influence of Customer Value on Consumer Behavior among minimarket customers in the Jabodetabek area. A total of 376 minimarket customers in Jabodetabek area were surveyed via an online questionnaire for data collection. The methodological approach utilized for data analysis involved the application of Structural Equation Modeling using SmartPLS 4.0. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that Customer Value factors such as Product Excellence, Service Excellence, Social Value, and Aesthetics play a crucial role in influencing customer Satisfaction. Nevertheless, the Efficiency dimension does not demonstrate a notable impact on Satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction plays a significant role in fostering customer loyalty. The conclusions drawn from this study emphasize the need for minimarket businesses to continuously assess customer satisfaction levels by leveraging Customer Value, in turn enhancing customer loyalty and nurturing more resilient links between minimarkets and consumers in the Jabodetabek region.

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing tourists' decisions to choose hotel accommodations during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing valuable insights into shifting consumer behavior. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research used an online survey targeting tourists in the JABODETABEK region, with 263 responses collected. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling via SMART PLS 3.0. The findings reveal that Perceived Threat negatively affects the intention to stay at hotels, while both Government Trust and Social Trust positively and significantly influence stay intentions. Interestingly, Customer Individual Response Efficacy and Hotel Response Efficacy do not show a significant effect on stay intentions. Additionally, Perceived Threat does not impact Government Trust, Social Trust, or Hotel Response Efficacy. However, Customer Individual Response Efficacy significantly enhances both Government and Social Trust, as well as Hotel Response Efficacy. The urgency of these findings lies in the critical need for hotels to rebuild consumer trust in the post-pandemic era. Trust in government and social institutions plays a pivotal role in shaping tourists' accommodation choices. This research offers novel insights into the evolving decision-making process of tourists, highlighting the importance of addressing public health concerns and fostering trust. The study contributes to the hospitality industry's strategies for ensuring long-term resilience and success by focusing on consumer trust and response efficacy. This research provides practical recommendations for hoteliers to adapt their approaches and navigate the complexities of a post-COVID-19 tourism landscape.

Abstract

This study examines how digital marketing strategies influence customer satisfaction and brand loyalty in four-star hotels in Jakarta, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS method, the research analyzed responses from 330 hotel guests. The study investigated key variables including service quality satisfaction, digital engagement, social media engagement, online presence perception, and digital promotions. Findings show that service quality, online presence perception, promotion effectiveness, and social media engagement significantly affect customer satisfaction with digital marketing. However, digital engagement and digital promotions showed no significant effect. Moreover, customer satisfaction with digital marketing was not found to have a significant influence on brand loyalty. These findings suggest that while digital strategies can enhance satisfaction, they do not automatically translate into loyalty. Hotel managers are encouraged to strengthen service quality and digital credibility to improve guest experience. This research contributes to understanding the effectiveness of digital marketing practices in the hospitality industry and provides practical guidance for enhancing customer interaction and satisfaction.
