Abstract

Early childhood has six aspects of development, namely the development of religious and moral values, cognitive, language, physical motor, and social emotional. These aspects of development must get optimal stimulation from the surrounding environment. Cognitive, language and literacy development can shape thinking skills and build understanding. All aspects of development must get maximum and optimal stimulation through meaningful learning activities for children that involve parents, teachers, and schools. Based on the stages of development, the tendency to learn kindergarten / RA age children has three characteristics, namely concrete, integrative, hierarchical. Thus, in developing PAUD learning models must pay attention to children's characteristics and competencies to be achieved, interactions in the learning process, tools / media, and assessment. Therefore, based on the explanation of the problem above, the writer is interested in researching the learning process by applying a thematic and scientific learning mode

Abstract

This research aims to explore the ecoprint technique using the hitting/knocking method to facilitate the development of children's artistic creativity. This qualitative in-depth investigation was carried out at Al Muna Kindergarten, Bireun, involving 15 children aged 4-6 years over a period of 8 weeks. Information gathering strategies included the involvement of researchers in activities, intensive dialogue with teachers and parents, and thorough examination of documentation of children's creations. The results showed a significant increase in all aspects of creativity, with the highest increase in elaboration (80%) and originality (78.95%). Ecoprint techniques have proven effective in stimulating multi-sensory experiences, encouraging exploration of natural materials, and increasing environmental awareness. These findings indicate that ecoprint not only develops artistic creativity, but also strengthens children's connections with nature, in line with the concept of eco-art education. This study highlights the potential for integrating ecoprint techniques in the PAUD curriculum as an innovative approach to developing creativity while increasing environmental awareness. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed, including the need for a redefinition of creativity in a more inclusive and diverse early childhood education context

Abstract

This study aims to describe the stimulation of children's abilities towards the concept of numbers through number pocket media at Zulhijjah Kindergarten Medan and the development of children's abilities towards the concept of numbers at Zulhijjah Kindergarten Medan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out by collecting data, summarizing data, presenting data and concluding. The results of the study indicate that Based on the results of research that has been conducted at Zulhijjah Kindergarten Medan regarding the stimulation of children's abilities towards the concept of numbers through number pocket media, it can be concluded that: 1) Stimulation of children's abilities in the concept of numbers is carried out with a well-structured learning plan design through learning planning and teaching modules that are adjusted to the theme and learning steps through interesting activities, namely playing while learning. 2) The development of children's abilities regarding the concept of numbers 1-30 through number pockets has developed as expected, such as children can name numbers 1-30, children can order numbers 1-30, children can pair numbers 1-30, children can connect numbers 1-30, children can write numbers 1-30.

Abstract

Early childhood is a child who is in the age range of 0-6 years who experiences very rapid development, so it is important to optimize the development aspects of early childhood in order to prepare themselves for the next level. The method used in this counseling is participatory-based counseling involving discussion, simulation, and direct practice. The results of this counseling show that the counseling has succeeded in increasing participants' understanding of the concept of the importance of optimizing aspects of early childhood development, as well as skills in stimulating the physical motor, language, social emotional, religious moral and cognitive development of early childhood. A 30% increase in the pre-test and post-test results shows that this counseling is very effective in improving participants' knowledge and skills. In addition, statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test shows that the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores is significant (p <0.05), which further strengthens the conclusion that the workshop has a positive impact on participants' skills.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays a crucial role in developing children's potential to prepare them for various life changes. One of the early childhood education institutions is Raudhatul Athfal (RA), which nurtures children aged 4-6 years in social-emotional, cognitive, language, physical-motor, religious, and artistic aspects. Moral and religious values are the primary focus before other developmental aspects, as children with noble character are more important than intelligence without morality. One of the teaching methods used to internalize moral and religious values is the storytelling method, which aims to encourage and guide children through questions that explore their ideas. Observations at RA Al Mukhlisin indicate that this method has successfully improved some children's moral and religious values, such as greeting others, apologizing, advising friends, and waiting in line. However, some children have yet to develop optimally despite receiving the same teaching methods.
