Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Perguruan YASPI Medan Labuhan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi informasi siswa-siswi melalui pelatihan pembuatan website menggunakan framework CodeIgniter. Pelatihan ini mencakup berbagai materi penting, dimulai dari pengenalan dasar framework CodeIgniter, instalasi dan konfigurasi lingkungan pengembangan, hingga pembuatan dan pengelolaan aplikasi web berbasis CodeIgniter. Metode pengajaran meliputi presentasi, demonstrasi langsung, serta latihan praktek yang akan membantu siswa-siswi memahami dan mengaplikasikan pengetahuan yang diperoleh. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan siswa-siswi yang mampu mengembangkan aplikasi web sederhana dengan menggunakan CodeIgniter. Selain itu, diharapkan juga dapat menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi siswa-siswi untuk terus belajar dan mengasah keterampilan mereka di bidang teknologi informasi

Abstract

Dalam penyusunan jadwal kegiatan belajar di sekolah secara manual masih sering terjadi bentrok, tepatnya waktu antara guru, ruangan dan pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengsinkronkan waktu secara tepat. Sehingga dapat membantu pihak sekolah dalam penyusunan jadwal kegiatan belajar. Algoritma yang digunakan adalah Ant colony. Penelitian ini menghasilkan matriks penjadwalan secara otomatis dengan tidak adanya terjadi bentrok waktu guru atau mata pelajaran (Error 0%) dan tingkat akurasi kesamaan jadwal sebesar 84,7%. Sehingga penelitian ini sangat tepat digunakan dalam penjadwalan guru dan mata pelajaran.

Abstract

Learning Media has a very important role in the lecture process which is a guideline for increasing student knowledge in the field of interest. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) Development Method can be used in the development of Learning Multimedia Systems Websites for Multimedia Systems courses. The process of making interactive multimedia applications uses six stages, namely: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. This learning website is equipped with practicum modules and video tutorials that can be downloaded. The making of this learning media uses the programming language PHP, HTML, and CSS on the Sublime Text 3 software and the MySQL database on Xampp. Testing this learning website uses Blackbox Testing to see errors in the assembly process before distribution. This research produces interactive multimedia learning media in the form of a website that can be accessed via the internet (online) which aims to facilitate the learning process for students and even the general public.

Abstract

The spread of tomatoes in Indonesia began from the Philippines and other Asian countries in the 18th century. Initially, the tomatoes first cultivated by the Inca and Aztec tribes were small-fruited and had low productivity. This is clearly different from the current conditions. Tomatoes produced now can weigh up to 0.4 kg each fruit or 8 kg each plant. In addition to their high quality and yield, tomato plants can also adapt to various agro-climatic conditions, from lowland, midland, to highland areas. There are even seeds that are resistant to certain pests and diseases. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method to provide recommendations for tomato seeds. The SMART method allows the evaluation of seed alternatives based on various relevant criteria. The research results show that the SMART method is effective in helping farmers choose seeds that suit their specific conditions, improving agricultural efficiency and yields. The recommendation of good tomato seeds is based on five criteria: land recommendation, harvest age, yield potential, weight potential, and disease resistance. System testing results show that the recommended good and quality tomato seed is Gandhi F1, with an accuracy rate of 81.7%.

Abstract

Bullying is an act that is currently the biggest challenge in Indonesia, especially in schools and Islamic boarding schools. In schools, bullying is usually increasingly rampant because the school does not respond or even ignores violent behavior by its students. Apart from that, giving inappropriate sanctions also causes students who bully to feel safe in carrying out their actions continuously. To be able to provide appropriate sanctions have a deterrent effect, a decision support system is needed that can make it easier for schools to provide sanctions to perpetrators of bullying. By applying the SMART Method, each criterion has a weight that shows how important that criterion is compared to the others. As a result, the system shows that the alternative with alternative code A3 is recommended to receive sanctions in the form of Drop Out because it has a score of 0.800

Abstract

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a serious mental health condition that can develop after an individual experiences a traumatic event. Early diagnosis of PTSD symptoms is crucial to prevent more severe psychological and social impacts. This study aims to develop a mobile-based expert system application that implements the Dempster-Shafer method to independently diagnose the confidence level of PTSD symptoms. The system is designed with three main components: biodata input, a symptom selection interface based on 9 indicator questions, and an inference engine utilizing the Dempster-Shafer method with a Likert scale to assess the severity of trauma experienced by respondents. Testing was conducted on 47 respondents, and the analysis results showed that 19.1% were in the safe category, 4.3% in mild PTSD, 12.8% in moderate PTSD, and 63.8% in severe PTSD. Validity testing indicated that all symptom items had correlation values (r-calculated) greater than 0.2876, confirming their validity, and the instrument’s reliability was measured at α = 0.806. The application is capable of providing an initial diagnosis along with recommended actions based on the severity level of PTSD. This study demonstrates that applying the Dempster-Shafer method in a mobile application offers an effective, efficient, and accessible alternative solution for early PTSD diagnosis, especially for individuals with limited access to professional mental health services.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food source for the Indonesian nation. Quality rice is produced from superior rice seeds which have a high yield quantity. At present the agricultural sector is growing with many rice varieties emerging. Superior rice seeds are very important for farmers because rice seeds are the main factor that determine the success of rice cultivation. The existence of many choices makes farmers more careful in choosing the type of rice varieties that suit the soil structure and climatic conditions of the local agricultural environment. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied to determine the important criteria for rice varieties and to obtain alternatives that are in accordance with the environmental conditions of agricultural land. The alternatives used are the types of rice seeds in Indonesia, namely Inpari45, Baroma, Jeliteng, Pamelan, and Pamera. This Decision Support System was created to provide information and assist farmers in making decisions regarding the selection of rice seeds to be planted with the criteria of Upright Rice Height, Planting Age, Productive Saplings, and Yield Potential. By applying the AHP method to this Decision Support System, it is found that the best alternative has the highest value of 0.247.

Abstract

Pucabranded.store is a business engaged in the sale of quality used branded shoes, which is located at Jalan Deli Tua, Medan. The current problem at the pucabranded.store store is in selling, promoting and ordering still manually, this is less effective because there is no detailed information about shoes on pucabranded.store for consumers. The ordering process that is currently running on t pucabranded.store is still using via Instagram or coming directly to the place, it is still not efficient. Recording and checking of transaction data, customer data, goods data, is still done manually in written document archives, data loss is still likely to be vulnerable to occur. The method used here is more directed to the research process with the Waterfall Method. In the construction of a system like this, to make it easier to sell, make transactions easily, make it easier for buyers to purchase goods online if they are far away, increase income and expand sales promotions on pucabranded.store.
