Abstract

Background: According to the World Health Organization (WHO) Mother's death is still quite high, every day around the world about 808 women die from complications in pregnancy or childbirth. According to WHO, 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries are caused by CED and anemia during pregnancy. Chronic energy deficiency (CED) is a condition where the mother suffers from chronic food shortages (chronic) resulting in the occurrence of health problems in the mother. Pregnant women who have CED five times more risk to give birth to babies with low birth weight (LBW). To know pregnant women have CED or not, measurement were madeof mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC).Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional status of pregnant women who experience the risk of KEK before and after providing health education in Tunggul Giriwono Village, Wonogiri in 2018.Method: This research used a qualitative research with case study research approach.. The population were 16 pregnant women in Tunggul Village, Giriwono Wonogiri Village. In this study researchers took 3 samples of pregnant women multigravida trimester II. Abstract

In an effort to improve community welfare, the government has, among other things, launched the Family Hope Program (PKH) as a program to provide conditional social assistance to poor families (KM) who are designated as PKH beneficiary families. Even though this program has proven to be quite successful in overcoming poverty, its implementation still requires further program efforts in the form of vocational training, micro-entrepreneurship, and collaboration with various private institutions. This is a demand for local governments so that the implementation of the PKH program can have a positive influence on community welfare. Baktijaya Village, Depok City is one of the villages that is part of the Ministry of Social Affairs' program. In the midst of an increasing trend in the average poverty rate every year in Depok City, it is not easy to implement policies because implementation is not just about carrying out what has been outlined. According to Grindel, there are a number of measures of success that serve as a reference and must be taken into account, namely those related to the content of policy and the implementation environment (context of implementation). This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the PKH policy on community welfare in Baktijaya Village, Depok City. This research uses quantitative methods. The results of the research show that there is a quite positive and significant influence of the implementation of the PKH policy on the welfare of the community in Baktijaya Village, Depok City.

Abstract

Bathymetric mapping is crucial for marine spatial planning and coastal infrastructure development. However, shallow waters with depths ranging from 0 to 5 meters are considered critical areas that pose dangers to conventional survey vessels. This research examines a bathymetric mapping method for the shallow waters of Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta, using aerial images captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a structure-from-motion (SfM) approach. Furthermore, the point cloud must be corrected for the refractive index since light passes through both air and water. The seawater refractive index is derived from salinity and seawater temperature data. The validation process uses several independent control points (ICPs) obtained from GNSS real-time kinematic (RTK) measurements and soundings conducted with an unmanned surface vessel (USV). The accuracy assessment shows that the SfM point cloud data has a horizontal RMSE of 0.103 m and a vertical RMSE of 0.191 m. The aerial image approach significantly speeds up the acquisition process compared to conventional sounding methods and produces a higher density of point clouds, integrating the coastal digital elevation model (DEM) of both land and sea areas. However, the use of this method is limited to clear waters where the seabed is visible in the images.

Abstract

There are inconsistencies between the regulation of alcoholic beverages in Presidential Regulation No. 73/2013 on the Control and Supervision of Alcoholic Beverages and Pekalongan City Regional Regulation No. 13/2000 on the Supervision and Prohibition of Alcoholic Beverages. This article discusses the dialectics of Islamic law and positive law in regulating alcoholic beverages in Pekalongan as a city of santri and its legal consequences. This article is a doctrinal research using statutory, conceptual, and historical approaches. The analysis of legal material is prescriptive to offer arguments to answer problem issues, while the inference technique uses deductive thinking logic. Based on the analysis of Hans Kalsen's norm theory and the principles of legal norm formation, the research shows that the dialectic of Islamic and positive legal norms that produce local regulations on the prohibition of alcoholic beverages in the city of santri is a consequence of the autonomy authority of local governments in making local regulations in order to carry out assistance tasks. Consequently, the local regulation on the prohibition of alcoholic beverages has no binding force because the basic rules of its formation have been declared contrary to law by the Supreme Court, and the content material is contrary to Presidential Regulation No. 74 of 2013. It does not comply with the principles of the formation of local regulations. The legal consequences are uncertainty, regional regulations not following national legal policy, and the potential to cause discrimination. This article presents an understanding of the dialectic of Islamic law on the one hand and positive law on the other regarding regulating the circulation of alcoholic beverages.

Abstract

As an interdisciplinary study, ecocriticism has significantly influenced the recognition of ecological concerns within the cultural phenomena of literature, including popular narratives such as songs. The use of poetic narratives in songs to address ecological issues and agendas has garnered expansive interest in the social marketplace, driven by the interplay of natural, cultural, and political dialogues. This study employed Roland Barthes’s semiotic perspective and Greg Garrard’s ecocritical theory to analyze environmental themes in the lyrics of three songs: “Big Yellow Taxi” by Joni Mitchell, “Ain’t It a Sad Thing” by Richard Dean Taylor, and “Apeman” by The Kinks. These songs, through their literary narratives, explored key ecocritical concepts such as pollution, animals, dwelling, and the earth, highlighting the impacts of urban life on ecological systems. Using a qualitative approach to interpret the data, the analysis reveals that, as early as the 1970s, environmental awareness of ecological damage was a recognized global concern. The lyrics serve as a medium of social critique, emphasizing the importance of harmony between humans and nature. Through their representation of the human-nature relationship, the songs contribute to an understanding of the interconnection between civilization and sustainability, promoting environmental ethics in managing the natural world. By projecting ecological issues within their narratives, the songs stimulate ecological awareness and underscore the urgency of addressing environmental challenges.

Abstract

Learning is a form of communication that is the basis for achieving information by students. The learning model that can improve students' activeness and learning outcomes is Problem Based Learning (PBL). The relevance found between the principles of the PBL model and the Biology learning process makes many studies linking the application of PBL with the achievement of cognitive learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on cognitive learning outcomes in biology using quantitative methods with meta-analysis techniques by reviewing 15 journal articles. The effectiveness of the PBL model on cognitive learning outcomes used the Effect Size (ES) formula. Based on the results obtained from the Effect Size test, the results obtained with moderate criteria ranged from 0.51 to 1.00 so it means that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model has a positive impact on biology learning outcomes for students.
