Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's social support and anxiety about baby blues syndrome in mothers giving birth in Ngadirejo Village, Reban District, Batang Regency. There are three hypotheses proposed in this research, the first is the major hypothesis which shows that there is a relationship between husband's social support and anxiety regarding baby blues syndrome in mothers giving birth in Ngadirejo Village. The second is minor hypothesis one which shows that there is a negative relationship between husband's social support and baby blues syndrome in mothers giving birth in Ngadirejo Village. Third is the second minor hypothesis which shows that there is a positive relationship between anxiety and baby blues syndrome in mothers giving birth in Ngdirejo Village. The subjects of this research were 60 respondents who were mothers giving birth. This research uses sampling techniques. Data collection used the husband's social support scale, anxiety scale and baby blues scale. The results of this study show that there is a major relationship between husband's social support and anxiety about baby blues with an R count of 0.667 with a significant value of 0.000. These results show that there is a significant relationship between husband's social support and anxiety about baby blues in mothers giving birth. Meanwhile, the results of the minor one test showed an R count of 0.368 with a significance value of 0.004, which indicated that there was a positive relationship between the husband's social support and the mother's baby blues. in the minor test two, it showed an R value of 0.660 with a significance value of 0.000, which indicated that there was a positive relationship between anxiety and baby blues in mothers giving birth in Ngadirejo Village

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adulthood, a period in which individuals experience rapid growth in all fields, they are no longer children in terms of physical form, attitude, way of thinking and acting. But neither are mature adults. This period starts at approximately 13 years of age and ends approximately at the age of 21. During adolescence, children begin to be active and full of energy. Excessive energy causes teenagers to do negative things, such as grabbing, fighting, showing off physical strength and doing things that violate laws and social norms, and are difficult to regulate. This is what causes potential teenagers to carry out various behaviors that can be categorized as juvenile delinquency. At this time the turmoil of his youth was rising. The desire to find identity and get recognition from family and environment is high. Sometimes to get recognition from their environment, teenagers do things that are outside of ethics and rules. This research method uses quantitative research methods with a sample group of teenagers in Pekalongan Regency. The results obtained from this study are based on the results of data analysis showing that the major hypothesis proposed is accepted, namely that there is a relationship between self-concept and religiosity with juvenile delinquency in Pekalongan Regency. The magnitude of the influence of self-concept and religiosity with juvenile delinquency, can be seen in the effective contribution of 0.2% and 0.1%, in addition to the minor hypothesis test one proposed is accepted, namely that there is a negative relationship between self-concept and juvenile delinquency with an effective contribution. by 0.2%. While the two minor hypothesis tests that were proposed showed that they were accepted, namely that there was a positive relationship between religiosity and juvenile delinquency, with an effective contribution of 0.1%. Abstract

This paper discusses the role of parents in improving children’s learning motivation. The children refered to in this paper are children of primary school age (SD/MI) is those aged 3 years to 6 years. Parents have of very important role in the education of their children among them as a motivator. In this case the parents should always give encouragement to their children to have a passion in learning, especially in home study as a supporter of successful achiement in school. The efforts that can be done by parents in improving motivation to learn children include: 1) knowing the results, 2) providing rewards and punishments, 3) provide the necessary tools or facilities. Parents as educators should always pay attention to child’s personal development as a determinant in the treatment of education in accordance with the period or level of age and ability to think chil
