Abstract

Institutions as social control always succeed in regulating so that the social life of citizens can run in an orderly and smooth manner in accordance with prevailing traditions and norms. As has been functioning well in the past, both in Aceh and West Sumatra. Aceh with its gampong pageu, and West Sumatra with surau. Both reflect a blend of local wisdom (adat) and Islamic values in it. However, if you see the rampant cases of violence and sexual abuse that have occurred in women and children lately, it is not wrong to say that the role of institutions as social control began to weaken. Like the role of surau and gampong pageu which is slowly ignored and forgotten. Re-empowering social institutions means trying to restore the pattern of community behavior based on existing norms. For this reason, systematic efforts are needed in empowering social institutions by empowering social institutions in accordance with the changes and demands of the times.

Abstract

Currently, transformation has occurred so quickly, the Industrial Revolution Era was one of the eras of very rapid technological development. With the rapid development of technology, various knowledge, new skills, and new leadership have been born in realizing the competitiveness of an educational institution. This article aims to describe the leadership of school principals in the technological era. The writing of this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach (library research), by conducting a careful review of some material and leadership theory. The results of the study show that: 1) a leader or leaders in the technological era in order to bring a team to a better realm, must master 10 (ten) skill models namely complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, management ability, coordination, emotional intelligence , making policies/decisions, service orientation, negotiation, and cognitive flexibility; 2) There are digital leadership characteristics that exist in a school principal in the Technology Age, including: responsibility and innovation in order to direct the organization to transform towards digital; 3) The implementation of digital leadership in educational institutions, of course, must be carried out by a Principal with several stages, namely: The emerging, implementing, instilling and transforming stages, and 4C, namely; critical in thinking and able to generate solutions, communication, collaborative, as well as creative and innovative.

Abstract

Ledakan informasi dan kecanggihan teknologi sebagai alat menelusuri berbagai informasi ternyata sangat berpengaruh dan berdampak pada berubahnya cara pandang masyarakat dunia. Laju perkembangan informasi dan kecanggihan teknologi jauh lebih cepat dari kemampuan manusia untuk mengakses informasi tersebut. Akibatnya, setiap saat masyarakat berlomba-lomba untuk mengakses dan meng-up-grade berbagai informasi melalui berbagai media dan teknologi. Bahkan ada sebagian masyrakat yang seolah-olah berpacu dengan waktu dalam mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam kehidupannya. Kegiatan revisi kurikulum sudah dilakukan oleh pihak prodi S1 Ilmu Perpustakaan UIN AR-Raniry pertama kali pada tahun 2012, namun karena tuntutan peraturan dan pasar juga perubahan status institusi induk dari institut menjadi Universitas, revisi kurikulum juga telah dilakukan pada tahun 2016 dengan merujuk pada kurikulum KKNI. Dampak positif lainnya dari pelatihan dan Bimtek perpustakaan yang dilaksanakan oleh prodi S1 Ilmu Perpustakaan UIN Ar-Raniry kepada para pengelola perpustakaan adalah terwujudnya peningkatan pengetahuan/keterampilan dan sikap yang mendorong para pengelola perpustakaan untuk terus berinovasi dalam mengembangkan karier mereka di bidang kepustakawanan

Abstract

Artikel ini berjudul “Evaluasi Kegiatan Public relations Menggunakan Model Cipp Dalam Pengembangan Perpustakaan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Banda Aceh”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana evaluasi kegiatan public relations dalam pengembangan perpustakaan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Banda Aceh dengan model CIPP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan public relations dalam pengembangan perpustakaan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Banda Aceh dengan model CIPP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tektik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Model evaluasi yang dipilih yaitu CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), dalam model ini peneliti membagi evaluasi kegiatan public relations ke dalam empat poin:(1) Context, meliputi latar belakang, kebutuhan dan tujuan kegiatan, (2) Input, meliputi sumber daya manusia, sarana, fasilitas dan anggaran, (3) Process, meliputi pelaksanaan kegiatan, kolaborasi dan penjadwalan, (4) Product, meliputi penilaian terhadap keberhasilan kegiatan dalam mencapai tujuan. Dari hasil penelitian di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Banda Aceh menunjukkan bahwa setiap komponen evaluasi masih banyak yang belum terpenuhi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih perlu adanya perbaikan demi tercapainya tujuan diadakannya kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

Educational financial management plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of educational services provided in schools. Effective management of school funds ensures that resources are utilized efficiently, supports the achievement of educational goals, and fosters trust among stakeholders. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of school fund management through a comprehensive literature review, focusing on key aspects such as transparency, accountability, and good governance. Using a qualitative approach, this study reviews previous research on school fund management and its impact on educational outcomes. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of school fund management is strongly influenced by the managerial competence of school principals, active community involvement, and the consistent application of principles of good governance. Furthermore, accountable and transparent reporting mechanisms are essential in preventing fund misuse, enhancing stakeholder confidence, and promoting sustainable educational development. This study recommends strengthening financial management capacity in schools through regular training, technical assistance, and continuous supervision. The insights gained from this research are expected to provide guidance for policymakers and school administrators to improve the management and utilization of education funds at the school level.

Abstract

Educational resource management in Indonesia faces challenges such as the unequal distribution of teachers, limited infrastructure, and low utilisation of technology. Additionally, inefficient fund management and lack of community involvement hinder the improvement of educational quality. This study aims to analyse the importance of integrated educational resource management in improving school quality. The methodology used is library research, collecting data from relevant literature and reports. The findings indicate that data-driven strategies, cross-sector collaboration, and an organisational culture that supports collaboration can improve efficiency. Integrated management optimises resources and sustainably improves education quality.
