Abstract

Abstract : The problem of waste has not been completely resolved to date, despite many efforts, especially in large cities like Solo. The Car Free Day (CFD) activity on Slamet Riyadi Solo, which takes place every Sunday, contributes to the waste problem in Solo. The implementation of this community service focuses on collecting waste in the CFD Solo area with the goal of raising awareness among the public about proper waste disposal, making them aware of the dangers of littering, and promoting personal and environmental cleanliness. The method of implementation involves providing guidance to CFD Solo users, collecting waste together according to its type, and disposing of it properly. The approach is to encourage community members to join together in taking responsibility for the cleanliness of the CFD Solo environment. The result of this implementation is the creation of a clean and healthy environment, ensuring that all CFD Solo users feel safe and comfortable. Abstract

The implementation of this community service aims to provide technical guidance in managing Homestays in the field of housing arrangements in the tourist village of Girikerto, N,gawi Regency, East Java Province. Technical guidance is provided with the goal of fostering, developing, and advancing homestays by imparting knowledge and skills to managers and relevant institutions to create professional homestay human resources. The method of technical guidance involves theory and practice tailored to the conditions of homestays. The outcomes for participants in this technical guidance include obtaining a job description and standard operating procedures as work guidelines, acquiring skills in housing arrangements, and being able to apply all the knowledge gained in running homestay operations.

Abstract

Room cleanliness is very important for a hotel. A common issue in hotels is room cleanliness, leading hotels to compete for employees who can clean rooms according to the standards set by the hotel, including time and results. The purpose of this research is to observe and analyze the performance of room attendants in preparing rooms. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection methods in this study include observation and interviews with 6 room attendants, as well as literature review and documentation. This research uses comparative analysis to compare the standard room cleaning time with the time achieved by room attendants in cleaning rooms. The average time spent by a room attendant in cleaning a room is 33.5 or 33 minutes and 5 seconds, while the standard time set by the hotel is 30 minutes. The results of this study indicate that the time achieved by room attendants in cleaning rooms does not meet the time standards set by the hotel. Room attendants must be able to manage their time so that all work can be completed on time and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to review a symbolic story behind the Cakwe product, exploring the connection between the brand and a deep-seated grudge. This traditional pastry, originally from China, has a long history, both symbolically and culturally, which is not widely known to the public. The research method used in this article is qualitative with descriptive analysis. The data utilized comes from references, including books and journals, which will be reduced and analyzed to form this writing. The result of this paper highlights the symbolism behind the Cakwe shape, which is long and made from two dough pieces, symbolizing the bodies of Prime Minister Qin Hui and his wife, who were blamed for the death of General Yue Fei. In terms of language connotation, both in Hokkien and Cantonese, or other Southern Chinese dialects, Cakwe can be interpreted as "ghosts fried" in hot oil. While many traditional Chinese pastries are often perceived as beautiful and charming, Cakwe is considered eerie. Therefore, it is clear that the Cakwe brand has a strong connection to the narrative story that envelops the product, reflected in its shape—two human-like bodies fried in hot oil. This hot oil is also a symbolic reference to the burning oil of hell used to punish the guilty in the afterlife. Furthermore, the motif of public vengeance has been passed down through generations, evident in the long shape and texture of Cakwe, consisting of two dough pieces resembling the bodies of Prime Minister Qin Hui and his wife.

Abstract

Program kecakapan wirausaha untuk Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Bidang Keahlian Tata Rias Kecantikan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, memberikan ketrampilan penggunaan alat dan bahan yang aman berkaitan dengan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, memberikan cara pencegahan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja bagi para calon wirausahawan pada bidang keahlian tata rias kecantikan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dengan cara memberikan teori terlebih dahulu secara umum kemudian khusus tentang pentingnya peranan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, memberikan praktek memilih bahan kecantikan yang aman dan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) yang baik, Cara pencegahan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan Penyakit Akibat Kerja (PAK). Hasil dari program ini adalah para calon wirausahawan mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja sehingga dapat menertapkan di tempat kerja dengan baik, peserta pelatihan mendapatkan ketrampilan tentang pemilihan bahan yang baik dengan memperhatikan brand, lebel dan kedaluwarsa (expired) serta trampil menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), para peserta dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan Penyakit Akibat Kerja (PAK).

Abstrak : Bunga mempunyai pesona keindahan yang banyak disukai oleh semua orang. Rangkaian bunga adalah cara sempurna untuk menyegarkan ruangan anda dan menambahkan semburat warna di dalam ruangan agar tidak terlihat monoton. angkaian bunga adalah cara sempurna untuk menyegarkan ruangan anda dan menambahkan semburat warna di dalam ruangan agar tidak terlihat monoton. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyaakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada para Florist Hotel dalam menciptakan suatu ruangan yang nyaman sehingga tamu betah berada di hotel dengan harpan tamu menjadi guest repiter. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan pemberian teori dan praktek cara merangkai bunga dengan memanfaatkan bunga yang ditanam di taman hotel dan membeli bila tidak ada, praktek tutorial cara merangkai bunga dengan alat dan bahan sesuai. Para peserta akan diberikan pengetahuan tentang jenis-jenis bunga dan cara memilih bunga yang segar dan baik, kemudian diberikan cara merangkai bunga dari berbagai aspek sehingga kelihatan indah tidak membosankan serta terkesan alami. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelatihan ini, Para Florist hotel memperolah ilmu pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang kreatif dan inovatif guna meningkatkan pengembangan hotel dalam hal taman dan floral.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the building repair and maintenance management system of the building on the hotel and to know how the repairment and maintenance of the building on the hotel, and to review the condition of the existing damage of structural components, architecture, mechanical and electrical, exterior space and housekeeping categorized in heavy, medium and light damage. This study's methodology is qualitative and quantitative scripted research with observation methods, bibliography, qualitative, and documentation. The population and samples used are all Engineering Department employees because there are only fewer than 100 people. The results of the review of the data obtained are data on the Engineering Department's Organization Structure, Employee Job Description, and Workflow. In the implementation of repair and maintenance, 76% of employees already carried out, the largest massive damage review for the field of housekeeping is polishing granite marble 39.23 %. For the largest moderate damage is on the outer space field 30.85 %, then the largest minor damage is in the field of architecture of 58.71 %. These results serve as a guide in the planning of the annual work program.

Abstract

Hotel fires can occur at any time without knowing the season for which the hotel building must have a fire extinguishing system that can guarantee the safety of guests, the purpose of this study is to find out the equipment used in the hotel building fire extinguishing system, to assess the completeness of facilities and infrastructure of the hotel building fire protection system, know the precautions against hotel fires in an effort to guarantee the safety and security of guests in hotel. The research methods used in this study are library study methods, interview methods, observation methods, documentation methods. Assessment of the completeness and reliability of building fire protection systems against fire hazards is used the parameters of tread completeness, means of rectification, active and passive protection systems. In data collection, it was carried out on the object of the study, namely at the Sahid Jaya Solo Hotel. The results of the discussion in this study, the equipment in the research object is complete and functions well and the results of the assessment of the reliability of the fire protection system obtained results of 90.63 which means that the reliability of the building is very good. From these results, it can be used as a consideration for the hotel in improving the right fire extinguishing system in an effort to guarantee the safety and security of guests.
