Abstract

The implementation of this community service aims to provide technical guidance in managing Homestays in the field of housing arrangements in the tourist village of Girikerto, N,gawi Regency, East Java Province. Technical guidance is provided with the goal of fostering, developing, and advancing homestays by imparting knowledge and skills to managers and relevant institutions to create professional homestay human resources. The method of technical guidance involves theory and practice tailored to the conditions of homestays. The outcomes for participants in this technical guidance include obtaining a job description and standard operating procedures as work guidelines, acquiring skills in housing arrangements, and being able to apply all the knowledge gained in running homestay operations.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengulas identifikasi pemetaan potensi pada wisata heritage situs Macan Putih di kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif dengan analisis dekriptif dengan pengamatan dan analisis dari data data yang didapatkan dari pengamatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa identifikasi pemetaan potensi didasarkan pada permasalahan yang ada. Pertama, belum terlaksananya konservasi pada situs Macan Putih dan hasilnya bisa diketahui situs tersebut masih terbengkalai sehingga dampak yang ditimbulkan kurangnya atraksi wisata yang akan ditawarkan pada para wisatawan. Kedua, pengelolaan wilayah yang dirasa kurang optimal, mengingat potensi wilayah yang dibangun dari semua kawasan di kabupaten Banyuwangi beraneka ragam baik yang menawarkan jenis wisata lain di luar wisata budaya. Ketiga, belum ada sinergitas antara wisata wisata budaya lainnya. Maka hasil pemetaan yang ada didasarkan pada hasil analiis variabel internal yang melingkupi potensi kekuatan dan kelemahan dari obyek dan juga hasil analisis eksternal yang melingkupi potensi dan ancaman yang dimiliki obyek situs Macan Putih.

Abstract

The high labor force with limited job opportunities demands that Education and Training Institutions must be able to prepare a truly work-ready workforce that is able to answer future demands, for that reason the implementing team of this community service activity held technical guidance to improve quality so that it has accreditation recognized by the business world and industry. The Community Service activity aims to provide technical guidance in achieving institutional accreditation so that it is truly of good quality by providing knowledge and skills to participants, especially institutional administration in meeting 8 accreditation standard criteria. Unaccredited Job Training Institutions were recorded and given guidance on the use of accreditation that can improve national level quality which is useful in creating qualified students. The results obtained in this technical guidance were obtained as many as 35 active, official and licensed institutions from the Social and Manpower Office, only approximately 15 institutions have just been accredited, the enthusiasm of job training institutions in obtaining accreditation is very strong so that they follow the technical guidance seriously until the completion of this technical guidance implementation, not only here this guidance will continue to be provided by the implementing team until optimal results are truly obtained.
