Abstract

Abstract

Geospatial Information System (GIS) is an information system that helps map events on earth to be analyzed with the help of computers. This GIS can make it easier to manage geographic information systems. Based on the results of an interview with the unit manager of the vice-chairman III of STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri, that currently, cannot map and see the visualization of the alumni's work field by the study program. Now, the vice-chairman III unit only can display information data with the help of Microsoft Excel. This study aims to build a Geospatial Information System with the ArcGIS application, making it easier to manage alumni and carry out tracer studies. If this data is available, it will be easier to maintain the relationship between alumni and the STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri. Good alumni data management will also open ample opportunities for collaboration, such as internships, jobs, graduate offers, and information on events and promotions. The results of the evaluation of the information presented were 81.25%, which meant that Deputy Assistant III had agreed with the presentation of data on the distribution of work locations for STT-NF alumni using ArcGIS 10.5. Based on determining the point of work location for STT-NF alumni, it was found that 89% of alumni work in the information technology sector and that their work locations are in the Greater Jakarta area.

Abstract

One type of e-learning category is Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). MOOCs or MOOC promote the "democratization of education" that allows education to be accessed by everyone from anywhere and anytime. The use of MOOCs gives students access to a wide variety of resources. MOOs enable students to have the sufficient storage capacity to store their materials. MOOCs have the potential to improve digital capabilities in the face of digital transformation. The intention to use MOOC is relatively high, however, in terms of class completion rate and motivation to pass on MOOC is relatively low. These conditions need to be examined to increase the success rate of MOOCs usage. This research develops a model and identifies factors that influence the successful use of MOOCs to prepare digital talent. The approach is a mixed method that collects quantitative data using an online questionnaire and qualitative data via interviews. The researcher took data from 91 samples and eight informants for interviews. In the study results, 6 out of 12 hypotheses are accepted in this study. The factors that influence a person in completing MOOC either directly or indirectly include Performance expectancy, willingness to earn certificates, MOOC quality, and Intrinsic motivation. This research also produces recommendations that can be used as consideration for parties related to MOOC.

Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses or MOOCs advocate the "democratization of education”, which makes education available for everyone anywhere and anytime. The number of students who registered for a MOOC demonstrates that their intention to use MOOCs is reasonably high, yet only 7-10% complete the course. This review conducts literature review on frameworks or theories, instruments, and major factors that influence the intention to persist in MOOCs. A total of 150 articles spanning the years 2018–2022 are initially reviewed guided by PRISMA framework, from which 20 are selected based on the selection criteria in this study. Self-developed model and TAM has become the most often used theory to determine a persons’ continuance intention on MOOCs. The majority of studies utilized SEM and PLS-SEM as instruments to analyse the continuance intention data. Perceived usefulness is the most important and influential factor in MOOCs.

Financial Technology (FinTech) Lending in Indonesia is an innovative solution for financial services in Indonesia because it has convenience and benefits for Indonesians who need loans, fund management, and other financial transaction activities. FinTech Lending is growing fast because it offers reasonable interest rates and access to conventional financial institutions. The growth of FinTech Lending is expected to support financial inclusion planned by the Indonesian government. In 2020, 126 FinTech Lending Companies were operating illegally by exploiting communities experiencing economic difficulties. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the adoption of FinTech services in Indonesia, considering obstacles and occasions. Factors related to obstacles are Trust and Security in Online Lending platforms, while factors related to occasions are Personal Innovativeness, Interest Rate, and Familiarity. This study used a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, and involved 85 respondents from Indonesian Borrowers with the age majority between 20 to 25 years old. Processes data obtained from survey results using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results are that Familiarity and Personal Innovativeness affect the acceptance of FinTech Lending companies in Indonesia. In addition, it produces guidance for the improvement of FinTech Lending Companies in Indonesia, which be used to develop and support financial inclusion in Indonesia.
