Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether the implementation of occupational health and safety programs in the work environment can increase employee work productivity. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach with 4 informants from UMKM Jie Food Sejahtera consisting of 1 business owner and 3 employees in the production section. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and literature studies. The results of the research are that MSME Jie Food Sejahtera has implemented the K3 program in the work environment quite well, this has an impact on employees feeling safe and comfortable at work so that work productivity increases. There are several things that business owners need to pay attention to, including providing regular K3 training, updating work instructions, increasing employee awareness of using PPE while working

Abstract

This research seeks to examine how the work environment affects employee performance, using job satisfaction as a mediating factor. The research issue arises from the observed gap between the working environment conditions that fulfill the standards and the decrease in employee performance at the manufacturing firm PT. Assemble a group of individuals. Employing an explanatory quantitative method, this research examined the connection among variables utilizing data from 158 participants through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique founded on Partial Least Square (PLS). The analysis results indicate that the work environment positively and significantly influences employee performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has been demonstrated to significantly impact performance and serves as a mediator that enhances the connection between the work environment and performance. Therefore, job satisfaction serves as a crucial avenue for enhancing the effects of the work environment on employee productivity. These results validate that managing the work environment and enhancing job satisfaction are essential approaches to boost human resource performance

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the Discovery Learning model on students' learning outcomes in the subject of Civics Education (PPKn) for Grade XII students at MA Darul Muta’allimin, Bangkalan. The background of the study highlights that conventional teaching methods—mainly lectures—fail to stimulate student engagement and understanding. This quantitative research utilized a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. Data were collected through cognitive tests administered before and after applying the Discovery Learning model. The findings show a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the model. Statistical analysis using paired t-test confirmed a meaningful difference between pretest and posttest scores. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model effectively enhances students’ cognitive achievements in PPKn. This study recommends the use of student-centered learning models to foster deeper understanding and critical thinking skills in social science subjects.

Abstract

Masyarakat penyandang disabilitas kerap mengalami diskriminasi sosial dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, hal ini bertentangan dengan prinsip non-diskriminasi Al-Qur’an yang menjunjung tinggi kesetaraan manusia. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan landasan teologis prinsip non-diskriminasi dan menawarkan solusi strategis bernilai Qur’ani yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk mengatasi diskriminasi terhadap penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan interdisipliner, dan teknis analitis data dengan metode tafsir tematik untuk menganalisis ayat-ayat yang terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa al-Qur’an menolak keras segala bentuk diskriminasi berdasarkan asas keadilan (‘adalah), kesetaraan (musawah), dan kemuliaan manusia (karomah insaniyyah) yang terkandung dalam Qs. ‘Abasa ayat 1-10, Qs. Al-Isra’ ayat 70, dan Qs. Al-Hujurat ayat 13. Namun, realitas sosial menunjukkan angka diskriminasi terhadap masyarakat penyandang disabilitas masih tinggi terutama dalam akses pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Adapun solusi strategis berbasis al-Qur’an yang dapat diimplementasikan meliputi: 1). penguatan pengakuan masyarakat akan kesetaraan martabat manusia, 2). aksesibilitas prioritas seperti fasilitas publik inklusif dan afirmasi kebijakan, serta 3). Pengembangan pendekatan berbasis empati dan penghormatan terhadap penyandang disabilitas
