Abstract

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder due to insufficient insulin synthesis or inadequate insulin sensitivity. The Bergman’s minimal model describes the dynamics of blood glucose levels in type 1 diabetics. The model has control inputs in the form of insulin injections and covers external disturbance factors in the form of meal disturbances. This research developed a control design using an sliding mode adaptive control to reduce blood glucose levels in hyperglycemic patients and keep it within normal glucose levels. Sliding mode adaptive control is an adaptive controller updates the model based on measured performance while in operation. A numerical simulation of the proposed controller is carried out by giving eating disorders three times, namely at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Based on the numerical simulation, to lower the high blood glucose in the hyperglicemic patient, the insulin injection should be given starting at 30 minutes before breakfast for the next four hour, with a maximal dose of injection is 13 mU/min. It can decrease the high blood pressure until 54.83%.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that provides the ability to think logically and mathematically. The ability to think logically and mathematically is reflected in mathematical connection. Students of Elementary School Teacher Education Program (S1 PGSD) are prospective teachers who will teach mathematics in elementary schools, and will have the obligation to provide students with mathematical connection ability. Therefore, undergraduate students of S1 PGSD need to have mathematical connection ability as basic skills for teaching mathematics. This study aims to analyze the mathematical connection abilities of PGSD undergraduate students for Geometric Shapes content. The research questions are as follows: (1) what is the mathematical connection ability possessed by PGSD undergraduate students for geometric shapes content, (2) what mathematical connection skills are still low in PGSD undergraduate students for geometric shapes content, (3) what mathematical connection skills do PGSD undergraduate students already have at high category for geometric shapes content. The study applied a quantitative descriptive method, with the research subjects totaling 30 students of fourth semester who were taking Geometry and Measurement courses. Data collection techniques using multiple choice tests totaling 30 items. The conclusion is that the average mathematical connection ability of S1 PGSD students reached 62.49% in the sufficient category. The mathematical connection ability which shows is still low is the indicator of mathematical connection ability with other fields/sciences is 40.00%, and the ability shows high category is connection ability between topics in mathematics.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is an educational initiative that aims to introduce the concept of entrepreneurship to students by exploring the concept of creativity and waste utilization in entrepreneurship. This article aims to fill the knowledge gap and contribute to the understanding of how P5 can effectively increase the entrepreneurial interest of primary school students, Data sources in this study are taken from secondary data sources in the form of research journals, activity documents, activity schedules, and so on. The data that has been obtained is then tested for data credibility, using source triangulation techniques, or checking data through several sources so that saturated and true data is obtained. The results showed that P5 was significantly able to foster entrepreneurial spirit in students. The introduction of the concept of entrepreneurship at an early age is considered crucial in increasing interest in entrepreneurship in the future. Parental involvement and community support play a key role in shaping positive attitudes towards entrepreneurship. The application of P5, especially with a focus on Entrepreneurship Education, is considered a comprehensive learning model to shape entrepreneurial character and skills at primary school level

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a diversity of different cultures and regional songs. However, students have difficulty singing regional songs because they do not understand singing techniques, the language of the lyrics is too difficult for students to sing because there is no supporting media in learning to sing so regional songs are less popular with students. Technology-based media can be used as a means of implementing learning. The aim of this research is to develop BELARA video media to make it easier for students to sing regional songs. The research method applies Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE model which includes 5 stages, namely, Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Media design is carried out starting from designing storyboards, designing and editing BELARA videos. The media developed includes the songs Tokecang and Cing Cangkeling which originate from West Java. With the interactive video media BELARA, it can facilitate and increase students' interest in singing regional songs.
