Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine educational innovations in the field of classroom management in online learning to increase the learning motivation of elementary school students. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. With research techniques literature studies from various relevant sources. The result of this research is that increasing students' motivation in online learning, it can be done through classroom management to create effective classroom conditions. By applying the principles of classroom management, managing the classroom environment, creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom, applying rules, and establishing good communication with the teacher as a facilitator. The existence of classroom management in achieving effective learning can increase student learning motivation and make learning more focused. In addition, the contribution of parents is also needed in guiding and assisting students during online learning carried out from home.Keywords: classroom management innovation, online learning, learning motivation, elementary school  Abstrak: Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji perihal inovasi pendidikan di bidang manajemen kelas dalam pembelajaran daring untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dengan teknik penelitian studi literatur dari berbagai sumber yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring dapat dilakukan melalui manajemen kelas agar tercipta kondisi kelas yang efektif. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen kelas, mengatur lingkungan kelas, menciptakan atmosfer yang positif dalam kelas, menerapkan peraturan, dan terjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan guru sebagai fasilitator. Adanya manajemen kelas dalam mencapai pembelajaran yang efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan menjadikan pembelajaran lebih terarah. Selain itu, diperlukan pula kontribusi orang tua siswa dalam membimbing dan mendampingi siswa selama pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan dari rumah.Kata Kunci: inovasi manajemen kelas, pembelajaran daring, motivasi belajar, sekolah dasar

Abstract

This research is about the design and development of interactive multimedia to introduce types of businesses and economic activities. This research is motivated by the problem of learning media which at the moment is still fixated on teachers and books. Another problem is the lack of knowledge and ability of teachers in introducing types of businesses and economic activities and the condition of students who have a great interest in using digital technology-based learning media. Thus, this research aims to create an Interactive Multimedia as a facilitator for students in learning the material of business types and economic activities. This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) research model, with Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) research procedures. This research involved experts and users. The results of the assessment from the expert's point of view for the feasibility of interactive multimedia is very feasible to be implemented in learning.

Abstract

Hyperactive behavior in grade 4 children at SD Ciluluk is a very complex challenge for educators which requires an in-depth understanding of the factors that influence it. Hyperactive behavior is an attitude in which every activity is carried out excessively or cannot control behavior in the environment within it. Believing that children become rubber feet is primarily due to biological and psychological factors. This research focuses on analyzing the factors that cause hyperactive children's behavior, highlighting biological and psychological aspects, thoroughly discussing the opinions of experts regarding hyperactive children, as well as the treatment of hyperactive children implemented by grade 4 teachers at Ciluluk Elementary School. This research aims to provide in-depth insight into the factors that can influence hyperactive behavior in grade 4 children at Ciluluk Elementary School. The expected results will certainly provide insight and solutions for hyperactive children in learning activities, especially in elementary schools, which will later be used as a reference for teachers to understand solutions for hyperactive children.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that provides the ability to think logically and mathematically. The ability to think logically and mathematically is reflected in mathematical connection. Students of Elementary School Teacher Education Program (S1 PGSD) are prospective teachers who will teach mathematics in elementary schools, and will have the obligation to provide students with mathematical connection ability. Therefore, undergraduate students of S1 PGSD need to have mathematical connection ability as basic skills for teaching mathematics. This study aims to analyze the mathematical connection abilities of PGSD undergraduate students for Geometric Shapes content. The research questions are as follows: (1) what is the mathematical connection ability possessed by PGSD undergraduate students for geometric shapes content, (2) what mathematical connection skills are still low in PGSD undergraduate students for geometric shapes content, (3) what mathematical connection skills do PGSD undergraduate students already have at high category for geometric shapes content. The study applied a quantitative descriptive method, with the research subjects totaling 30 students of fourth semester who were taking Geometry and Measurement courses. Data collection techniques using multiple choice tests totaling 30 items. The conclusion is that the average mathematical connection ability of S1 PGSD students reached 62.49% in the sufficient category. The mathematical connection ability which shows is still low is the indicator of mathematical connection ability with other fields/sciences is 40.00%, and the ability shows high category is connection ability between topics in mathematics.

Abstract

Bullying, especially in the digital era, has become a serious concern due to its involvement in various forms of physical, verbal, and social violence. Empathy education is considered an integral solution to address this issue by instilling the ability to sense and understand the feelings of others from an early age. This article also outlines the concept of bullying, its effects on perpetrators and victims, as well as its long-term impacts. Furthermore, empathy education is discussed in-depth as a preventive and remedial strategy for bullying. Empathy is not only taught to children but is also applied to those responsible within the school. Through theoretical studies, this article correlates the concept of bullying with a lack of empathy and details the significance of empathy education in the development of students' characters. Empathy education is deemed essential as it influences positive behavior, enhances the quality of social interactions, and fosters meaningful relationships.

The curriculum in Indonesia has also changed to become an independent curriculum which is synonymous with independent learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, and the data collected for this research is through observation. the result of this research is that the implementation of the independent curriculum in class 1 at SDN Permata Biru has been carried out according to the provisions. The independent curriculum is a curriculum that emphasizes intracurricular activities and projects to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). Implementation of the semester program through class 1 art projects is carried out every week in semester 2. With different material each week students can produce works and study happily in accordance with the concept of independent learning. The benefits resulting from this semester program project activities are interesting to study because they are related to student creativity.

Abstract

The hyperactive behavior of students poses a serious challenge in the school learning process. This article employs a literature review method to identify the factors causing hyperactive behavior in elementary school students, particularly in lower grades, and analyze its impact on learning outcomes. Hyperactive disorder in children has been recognized in the medical field since the early 20th century, characterized by an inability to stay still, lack of self-control, and heightened activity levels. Factors contributing to hyperactive behavior stem from various aspects, including psychological factors, overindulgence, lack of discipline, pleasure orientation, sensor nerve weaknesses, genetic factors, prenatal factors, and environmental factors. The impact of hyperactive behavior on students hinders the learning process, diminishes focus and concentration, and affects the understanding of materials. Students exhibiting hyperactive behavior may encounter difficulties in socializing, family conflicts, and serious social issues, influencing their social-emotional development and learning environment, creating disruptions in the classroom and affecting classmates. Quality education should be able to accommodate the needs of students with hyperactive behavior to ensure optimal social, emotional, and academic development for each child.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of including the history of the Islamic kingdom into the elementary school curriculum as an effort to shape students' character. The history of the Islamic kingdom has a central role in shaping identity and positive values ​​in the younger generation. By deepening students' understanding of the heyday of the Islamic kingdom, they can develop a sense of pride in their cultural heritage, which becomes a strong basis for forming characters with high traditional values. In addition, this article highlights ethical and moral values ​​that can be drawn from the history of Islamic empires, such as justice and tolerance, to inspire students to develop responsible character. This approach also opens up opportunities to integrate the values ​​of diversity in the curriculum, enriching students' understanding of tolerance and teaching them to appreciate differences. Thus, including the history of the Islamic kingdom in the elementary school curriculum not only helps build a strong cultural foundation, but also shapes students' characters who have integrity, responsibility, and have a deep understanding of Islamic history and values.
