Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja merupakan faktor yang sangat diperhatikan dalam dunia industri modern yang terintergrasi terutama bagi perusahaan yang berstandar internasional. Secara umum Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja adalah suatu kegiatan perlindungan baik terhadap pekerja, peralatan dan lingkungan kerja sehingga terhindar dari faktor risiko yang dapat merugikan. Kondisi kerja dapat dikontrol untuk mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan peluang terjadinya kecelakaan. Dengan adanya pengetahuan tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja diharapkan dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan dan mengakibatkan penurunan produktivitas kerja, kerugian berupa cacat atau cidera, kematian serta kerusakan properti dan lingkungan (Tarwaka, 2008). Kecelakaan mengakibatkan cidera, baik cidera ringan, berat, cacat ataupun mengakibatkan kematian. Cidera ini akan mengakibatkan tidak mampu menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik sehingga mempengaruhi produktivitas. Jika terjadi kecelakaan perusahaan harus mengeluarkan biaya pengobatan dan tunjangan kecelakaan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku. PT. XYZ sebagai salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang kimia . Berdasarkan data angka kecelakaan dari tahun 2011 sampai 2103 pada proses bongkar muat terdapat 19 kasus kecelakaan. Dengan melihat jumlah kasus tersebut penulis menganalisa kembali aktivitas bongkar muat di gudang dengan bertujuan untuk memberikan tindakan pengendalian risiko untuk mengurangi risiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja terutama pada proses bongkar muat produk digudang.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang idenntifikasi dan penilaian atas risiko- risiko yang terjadi serta memberikan tindan- tindakan pengendalian risiko pada kegiatan proses bongkar muat produk. Dari hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode HIRA didapatkan skor nilai untuk proses bongkar muat masih tinggi sebesar 11 artinya masih berisiko tinggi akan tetapi setelah dilakukan pengendalian tindakan tindakan perbaikan skor nilai menjadi 3 yang artinya risiko terjadinya kecelakaan dapat dikendalikan. Hazard Identification and Risks Assesment (HIRA) adalah sebagai pedoman dalam identifikasi bahaya dan penilaian risiko yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas dan fasilitas di tempat kerja. Instruksi kerja mencakup seluruh risiko yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan rutin atau biasa atau normal dan tidak rutin atau tidak biasa atau tidak normal di tempat kerja, termasuk kegiatan mengidentifikasi bahaya dan mengevaluasi risiko.

Abstract

The case of domestic violence that occurred in Medan Sunggal District, Medan City, is certainly not a new phenomenon in the field of criminology. Along with its development, domestic violence can also be found in various forms of crime, ranging from individual crimes to conventional crimes. The form of domestic violence in criminology research is always related or has a causal relationship with acts of violence. For example, if a husband or wife no longer cares about family life because of the emergence of another ideal figure, communication within the family will decrease. This then triggers excessive suspicion that can lead to domestic violence, such as insulting, mocking, hitting, and so on. The cause of violence, according to positive law, one of which is the existence of a patriarchal culture and the view of society that considers the wife as the property of the husband. Thus, the husband feels fully entitled to his wife and may treat his wife in the way he wants. From an Islamic perspective, this arises due to a lack of piety in individuals, a low understanding of husband-wife relations in the family, and temperamental nature in individuals including committing domestic violence. The effects of criminal acts, especially for those who are victims, are mental disorders. This impact is not only felt by the perpetrators of violence, but also by other family members, especially children. In addition to the effects within the household itself, domestic violence, especially from husband to wife, can also affect the social aspects of life.

Abstract

Bunut River flows across Rawang Panca Arga District with its upstream in Setia Janji District, Asahan Regency and empties into balai River, Sei Balai District, Batubara Regency. The water discharge on the Bunut River causes flooding when the water discharge increases. Most flooding problems are caused by unstable and critical embankments. The aim of this research is to design a Geographic Information System and contain data regarding critical embankments in Rawang Panca Arga District. The location of critical embankments on the Bunut River can be mapped with a moteode using the ArcGis application version 10.3. Critical embankment problems on the Bunut River can be prevented with proper handling by strengthening the river banks with pairs of gabions. By strengthening river banks, it produces embankments that are safe from flood disasters when water discharge increases

Abstract

Silau River is a river that flows for 13.3 kilometers across Kisaran City, Asahan Regency. The rapid development of Kisaran City as the district capital has caused many land conversions around the Silau River Watershed. The large number of land conversions causes environmental damage to rivers. This research aims to determine the development of width, depth and scour that occurs around the river basin. Applying contour maps to river basins will reveal the area of ​​buildings and plantations that are being converted into land use. Contour maps can be built in the ArcGis application version 10.3. With the ArcGis 10.3 application, you will get the area that is being converted into land. The treatment carried out is controlling and normalizing areas that have changed function and replanting protected plants around river banks

Abstract

Porous concrete is concrete that has cavities in its structure so that water can drain. The aim of this research is to obtain compressive strength and porosity referring to the Aci 522R-10 method using a cylindrical mold measuring 15 cm x 30 cm with a soaking age of 28 days. The highest compressive strength values ​​were obtained in porous concrete specimens mixed with 10% brown shell with an average compressive strength value of 11.7 Mpa and porous concrete mixed with 5% zeolite with an average compressive strength of 11,6 Mpa. The lowest compressive strength of porous concrete mixed with 5% zeolite + 10% brown skin with an average compressive strength of 5.5 Mpa and concrete mixed with 10% zeolite + 5% brown skin with an average compressive strength of 5,9 Mpa. The highest porosity was obtained in the 10% zeolite mixture variation test object and the 5% zeolite mixture + 5% brown leather variation test object, namely 27,6%.

Abstract

Feed is one of the largest cost components in fish farming, accounting for 60–70% of total production costs. Therefore, appropriate technology is needed to assist small-scale fish farmers in producing feed independently. This research aims to design and test a manual fish pellet press with a press system. The research methods included designing a manual mill-based tool, conducting functional trials, and evaluating pellet yields, including production capacity, shape uniformity, and pellet durability in water. The trials were conducted in Perkebunan Bandar Selamat Village, Aek Songsongan District. The results showed that the tool can produce pellets at a capacity of 1–1.5 kg/hour. The resulting pellets have a uniform diameter of ±4 mm, a dense texture, and can withstand water for 10–15 minutes. The tool is relatively inexpensive to manufacture (Rp300,000–Rp500,000) and does not require electricity, making it suitable for use in rural areas. The conclusion of this study is that a manual fish pellet press with a pressing system is effective, economical, and feasible to be adopted to help small-scale fish farmers increase their feed self-sufficiency.
