Abstract

Clean water is a primary need for humans in every country. The availability of clean water must be guaranteed in time, quantity and quality. The need for water for both domestic and non-domestic needs continues to increase from year to year. To meet the needs of clean water, the people of Karo Regency need clean water sources that are suitable for drinking. Water resources are water discharge and population for water distribution. In finding the amount of water demand, an analysis of the population and analysis of clean water production is carried out. Determining the need for clean water and the population in Karo Regency uses the Geometry method which this method shows the largest population growth so that it can be planned for clean water needs until 2027. Based on the results of the projected population plus the number of water needs in 2027 as many as 491,444 people, the required water discharge is 907,799 l/s while the current production capacity is 14,744.831 l/s, so the additional capacity needed is 0.01003 m3/s. Implementation in the construction of clean water facilities must be adjusted to the level of social, cultural, and economic conditions of the community.

Abstract

Concrete is a construction material consisting of a mixture of cement, aggregate, water and with or without admixture if needed. Coarse aggregate and fine aggregate serve as the main filler of concrete as well as reinforcement, while the cement and water mixtured serves as a binder between materials. To find out and study the behavior of each of these concrete constituents, it is necessary to know the characteristics of the materials made as constituents of the concrete. This study was conducted with the aim of comparing the most optimum type of coarse aggregate used and the comparison of the use of cement for coarse aggregate of crushed stone and coarse aggregate of gully originating from North Sumatera area, namely from the Wampu River in Binjai City as a concrete mixture to see its effect on compressive strength of concrete at the same concrete characteristics namely f’c 25 MPa. The results of the normal concrete mix design are obtained by using coarse aggregate of crushed stone and coarse aggregate of boulder in different amounts of cement. The coarse aggregate of crushed stone requires more cement with the amount of cement 411.1 kg/m3 than the coarse aggregate of gum with the amount of cement 388.9 kg/cm3.

Abstract

Increased development in various regions in Indonesia, especially in the city of Medan, makes many contactors compete with each other in implementing a project. Starting from the time, quality, and cost. However, there are still many contractors who ignore Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (K3L). This study aims to determine the level of application of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (K3L) in construction projects. Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (K3L) is a program that aims to create a safe, healthy workplace. So that it can reduce the risk of work accidents and occupational diseases as low as possible on the project. The theory used in this study uses quantitative methods that tend to produce descriptive results. The sampling technique was carried out by observation and questionnaire. The instrument used comes from the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 9 of 2008. This research was conducted on the Cinema Grand Jati Junction construction project located on Jln Perintis Kemerdekaan, Medan The results of the research on the level of application of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (K3L) for the Cinema Grand Jati Junction construction project on Jln Perintis Kemerdekaan, Medan amounted to 90.54%. The completeness of K3L facilities in the project was 86.7%.

Abstract

Concrete is one of the construction materials consisting of a mixture of coarse aggregate and fine aggregate as a filling material, as well as cement and water as a binder. With the addition of fiber as a partial replacement of ceme­nt to obtain a cheaper cost, for simple buildings. With partial replacement of cement with fiber in normal concrete, which aims to determine the effect of partial replacement of cement with fiber against the compressive strength of concrete. By comparing the length variation of fibers which are respectively 4 cm, 6 cm, 8 cm and fibers taken 2% of the weight of cement. Where the calculation analysis (mix desing) using SNI 7656-2012 (procedure for making normal concrete mix plan). Mix design is done in order to determine the proportion of the mixture is done with strong concrete quality planned. The test object is a cylinder with a diameter with a diameter of 15 cm and height of 30 cm. From the results obtained the replacemen of some of the cement with fibers. Where the test results of normal concrete slump of 10 cm, fiber concrete measuring 4 cm by 10 cm, fiber conrete measuring 6 cm byy 9.8 cm and fiber concrete measuring 8 cm by 9.7 cm. And the maximum compressive strength test results obtained decreased, the test value of cylindrical concrete without the addition of fiber of 27.08 MPa, where the compressive strength of concrete by using 2% fibers with a length of 4 cm of 26.70 MPa, concrete fiber 6 cm of 25.94 MPa, and for fiber 8 cm of 24.72 MPa. So that the compressive strength of concrete that occurs decreases from normal concrete without the addition of fibers.

Abstract

Along with population growth and the magnitude of development as well as increasing transportation, the number of vehicles or traffic volume on roads is increasing, including one intersection in Deli Serdang Regency which has traffic density every day with concomitant congestion and a decrease in speed in certain road segments. This study aims to analyze the performance of the unsignalized intersection of Cemara Road – Cemara Asri Boulevard Raya Road and find alternatives to solve the problems that exist at the intersection of Cemara Road – Cemara Asri Boulevard Raya Road. The data collection method is carried out within a certain time by studying primary and secondary data. In this study resulted in the conclution that the intersection of Cemara Road – Cemara Asri Boulevard Raya Road experienced the peak of traffic flow on Sunday at 04.00 – 05.00 PM with a traffic volume of 2,782 smp/hour. The actual capacity is 2,451.6 smp/hour. The degree of saturation is 1.134. Based on value of the degree of saturation, the level of service at the intersection into category F exceeds the saturation limit suggested by the Indonesia Road Capacity Manual, which is > 1.00. It is necessary to revisit the three-arm intersection on Cemara Road – Cemara Asri Boulevard Raya Road. An alternative solution that can be given to obstacles found is the need for widening the geometric of the road in order to increase the capacity of the intersection and based on the degree saturation value, it is necessary to install the tools provided (lights traffic).

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kali ini membahas tentang mengoptimalkan teknologi digital dan penerapan pemasaran digital on line untuk memaksimalkan pemasaran produk di lingkungan masyarakat UMKM di kelurahan Binjai Estate.. Adapun benefit (manfaat) kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah : 1) Bagaimana pemahaman kepada pelaku UMKM tentang strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. 2) Mendorong penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi dan interaksi dengan konsumen secara lebih luas dan efisien. 3) Memperkenalkan penggunaan website sebagai media pemasaran profesional untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan dan jangkauan pasar. Bisa menggunakan website. Hal ini sangat berpengaruh keterkaitannya di masyarakat dengan adanya pemasaran secara digital,termasuk sumberdaya manusia. Dapat meningkatkan jumlah tenaga kerja yang kreatif dan terampil dalam pencapaian  produk-produk  UMKM. Penerapan pemasaran digital memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap masyarakat, terutama dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Melalui pelatihan diskusi tanya jawab  dan penyuluhan yang dilakukan, diharapkan muncul tenaga kerja yang kreatif dan terampil, baik dalam proses produksi maupun pemasaran produk-produk UMKM. Selain itu, aspek keuangan juga turut berperan penting dalam menunjang proses produksi UMKM. Setelah produk dihasilkan, tahap yang tidak kalah penting adalah strategi pemasaran yang tepat, yang dapat dioptimalkan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital.  Seluruh elemen ini, mulai dari sumber daya manusia, keuangan, strategi pemasaran digital, hingga metode pelaksanaan di lapangan saling berkesinambungan dan menjadi satu kesatuan yang mendukung peningkatan penjualan serta pertumbuhan UMKM di Kelurahan Binjai Estate

Abstract

In the Sei Wampu Bridge work project, Binjai Pangkalan Brandan carried out bore pile foundation installation work at the A2 foundation point with a total of 21 piles. Review of the bearing capacity of bore pile foundations using Analysis from Meyerhof (1956) and the Converse-Labarre Formula method for the calculation of pile group efficiency. The time of completion of work based on the time schedule plan is 125 calendar days. This research conducted a review using the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) method to obtain time efficiency, so that the project can be carried out on time. From the results of analysis and discussion, it was obtained that the largest foundation carrying capacity was the result of laboratory data using method C. Significant differences in results were obtained, especially laboratory data due to the correlation value used in each method. The result of calculating the bearing capacity of the foundation based on the method of Luciano Decourt (1987) using N-SPT data is 287,600.76 kN; Meyerhof's (1956) method using N-SPT data is 265,062.68 kN; a combination of Meyerhof's method (1976), Vesic's method (1977); the combination of the Vesic method (1977), the Coyle and Castello method (1981) and the results of foundation carrying capacity analysis using the All Pile program is 41,159.85 kN. The Critical Chain Project Management method is defined as the longest chain of interrelated events, where the linkage lies in the work or resources that are interconnected with each other, by cutting 50% of the duration of the work and replacing it as a buffer. The time comparison obtained from the calculation results using the CCPM method obtained a time efficiency of 116 days with a work time difference of 7.2% or about 9 days from the existing duration of the previous 125 days, while to compare the results of the CCPM method, calculations were carried out based on realization for 97 days, where the realization results were smaller than using the CCPM method and time schedule plan. Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kali ini yang membahas tentang TKDN.TKDN adalah tingkat komponen dalam negeri, dimana ini untuk produk barang dan jasa di bidang konstruksi. Adapaun tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah : 1) Mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai filosofi dan tujuan ketentuan TKDN 2) Mengetahui prinsip dasar mengenai TKDN dalam pelaksanaan pengadaan barang dan jasa. 3)Mampu mengidentifikasi komponen biaya dalam penghitungan TKDN. 4) Memahami tata cara penghitungan TKDN.Seperti  diketahui tingkat komponen dalam negeri besarnya komponen dalam negeri pada barang dan jasa dan gabungan barang dan jasa sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian RI NO.16/M─IND/PER/2/2011.Hal ini berkaitan dibidang proyek konstruksi (gedung, jalan, irigasi, kereta api dll)  tentang kewajiban beli produk dalam negeri. Adapun implementasi kebijakan TKDN pada pengadaan barang dan jasa antara lain : perencanaan, persiapan, tender, pelaksanaan pekerjaan serta serah terima.

Abstract

The community service program in this Real Work Lecture program aims to revitalize the ablution area at An Nurillah Integrated Islamic Elementary School located in Karang Anyar Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The previous condition of the ablution area was unsuitable for use due to clogged drains, inadequate floors, and damaged sanitation facilities, which hampered the smooth ablution activities of students and teachers before worship. The implementation of this community service activity went through several stages starting from an initial condition survey, redesign planning, material procurement, and renovation. The renovation included the installation of 10 water taps at the front and back, the installation of ceramics on the walls and floors, painting, and the finishing process so that the ablution area is clean, safe, and comfortable to use. This revitalization is very important to support the implementation of worship for students and all school residents at An Nurillah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, in Karang Anyar Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, which makes morals and Islamic teachings the main foundation of education. In addition to improving physical facilities, this program also provides an educational impact to students regarding the importance of maintaining and preserving public facilities to ensure their continued cleanliness.The success of this community service program is a concrete example of the synergy between students as implementers of the community service program and the school community in creating an environment that supports spiritual activities and school cleanliness. With the presence of a revitalized ablution area, it is hoped that a more conducive school environment will be created to support worship discipline and increase awareness of environmental cleanliness. The sustainability of this program can be continuously encouraged with the active participation of the school community in maintaining the facility for long-term use. This program can also be used as a model for managingNurillah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, in Karang Anyar Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, and provided real experience for students in implementing community service in a professional and structured manner
