Abstract

Abstract: A school profile website is a website that contains information about a school to introduce and provide the information to other parties such as the communities, parents, or partners of the school itself. This community service activity aims to raise awareness for school managers and teachers about the importance of using the internet/website to develop the potential of schools. The method of implementation is a workshop. There are 13 participants, who are teachers and staff in TK Qurrota A’yun and PAUD Mawar. The results in this community service activity are that around 20% of participants can create a simple school profile website using WordPress, and around 30% of participants can use the website as an information and promotion media.

Abstract

A school profile website is a website that contains information about a school to introduce and provide the information to other parties such as the communities, parents, or partners of the school itself. Abstract

Low results from studying mathematics at the Farel Education Center and the Prima Quantum tutoring can indicate a poor understanding of mathematical concepts among students. This community service activity aims to provide additional insights to teachers as participants in media and mathematics learning aids using the GeoGebra application. Teachers' ability to understand mathematical concepts can be improved to help students understand mathematics more effectively. Participants in this community service activity were the Farel Education Center for Teachers and the Prima Quantum tutoring in Jakarta. There are three phases of action: the preparation, implementation, and evaluation to implement this Community service activity. Observation, documentation, and demonstration are the method of execution of this community service activity. The result of this community service activity was that teachers at Farel Education Center and Prima Quantum tutoring who initially did not know the GeoGebra application and its benefits can now take advantage of GeoGebra in their learning. It can increase motivation, interest in education, student creativity, and understanding of mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Emotional Question and interest in learning towards mastery of mathematical concepts. The hypothesis of this study include: (1) there is a direct effect of emotional question to mastery of mathematical concepts; (2) there is a direct effect of emotional question to interest in learning math; (3) there is a direct effect of interest in learning math to mastery of mathematical concepts; (4) there is an indirect effect of emotional question toward mastery of mathematical concepts through interest in learning mathematical. The method used in this study is a survey method with data analysis using path analysis. Affordable population are students of class x1 school year 2013/2014 public senior high school in Kebon Jeruk, west Jakarta. Sample size is 70 student with the sampling technique used is random sampling taken from 2 public school. Research instrument used is questioner and test of mastery of mathematical concepts. Retrieved hypothesis testing results the following conclutions. Hypothesis testing results show that: (1) there is a direct effect of emotional question to mastery of mathematical concepts; (2) there is a direct effect of emotional question to interest in learning math; (3) there is a direct effect of interest in learning math to mastery of mathematical concepts; (4) there is an indirect effect of emotional question toward mastery of mathematical concepts through interest in learning mathematical. Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh Adversity Quotient dan KecerdasanEmosional terhadap Penguasaan Konsep Matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian surveikorelasional. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTS Nurussalam, Pondok Pinang.Sampel diambil dengan nonpropability sampling berupa sampling jenuh sejumlah 30 siswa.Instrument penelitian berupa 30 butir angket adversity quotient, 30 butir angket kecerdasanemosional, dan 10 butir soal tes (essay) penguasaan konsep matematika. Berdasarkan hasil ujihipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 5% atau α = 0,05, dapat disimpulkan; (1) terdapat pengaruhyang signifikan adveristy quotient dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersama-sama terhadappenguasaan konsep matematika (2) terdapat pengaruh positif adversity quotient terhadappenguasaan konsep matematika (3) terdapat pengaruh positif kecerdasan emosional terhadappenguasaan konsep matematika.Kata Kunci: adversity question, kecerdasan emosional, konsep matematikaAbstract. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of adversity question and emotionalquestion on mastery of mathematical concept. This research is a correlational survey research.The population is all students in grade 9 MTS Nurussalam, Pondok Pinang. Samples weretaken by nonprobability sampling of 30 students. Research instrument in the form of 30 itemsquestionnaire for adversity question, 30 items questionnaire for emotional question and 10items essay for mastery of mathematical concept. Based on the results of hypothesis testingwith a significant level of 5% or α = 0.05, it can be concluded that; 1) there is a significantinfluence between adversity question and emotional question on mastery of mathematicalconcept, 2) there is a positive influence adversity question on mastery of mathematicalconcept,3) there is a positive influence emotional question on mastery of mathematicalconcept.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pengajuan masalah matematis siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dengan menggunakan penerapan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflection, Recite, Review). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekivalen menggunakan teknik  Purposive Sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA PGII 1 Bandung yang terdiri dari delapan kelas, adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Dari dua kelas tersebut diklasifikasikan menjadi dua kelompok pembelajaran, yaitu kelompok pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pembelajaran strategi PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflection, Recite, Review) dan pembelajaran konvensional. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif.  Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peningkatan kemampuan pengajuan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan strategi PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflection, Recite, Review) lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional sehingga kesimpulan umum dalam penelitian ini adalah  penerapan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pengajuan masalah matematika siswa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of visual-spatial intelligence and self-concept on creative thinking skills. This research was conducted at Yapermas Junior High School and Taman Siswa Junior High School with a sample of 46 students in class VIII for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used is a correlational survey method. The instruments used are description tests (visual spatial intelligence and creative thinking skills) and questionnaires (self concept), all instruments have been validated. Before testing the hypothesis, the data requirements were tested, including: normality test with chi square test, all data were normally distributed, linearity test obtained all data with a linear pattern, and multicollinearity test obtained all data between variables X1 and X2, there was no multicollinearity. Then the hypothesis test is carried out to get the equation persamaan Y=12,58 +0,22 X1+0,75X2 and with a level of 5% it is obtained Fcount (6,99) > Ftable (3,21 ) then H0 is rejected. The results of the study concluded that 1) there was an effect of spatial visual intelligence and self-concept on the ability to think creatively, 2) there was an effect of visual-spatial intelligence on the ability to think creatively, and 3) there was an influence of self-concept on the ability to think creatively.
