Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to determine the learning process of writing narrative essays by applying problem-based learning models and guided inquiry models, 2) to determine student activities in learning to write narrative essays by applying problem-based learning models and guided inquiry models, 3) to determine The problem-based learning model is more effective than the guided inquiry model in learning to write narrative essays, and in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kadugede. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in this study were all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kadugede Kuningan Regency in the 2015/2016 academic year, totaling 228 students. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling, the authors randomly selected the research sample in order to obtain 2 classes. The sample used in the study was grade VII students. C, totaling 32 students and class VII. E, amounting to 32 students. The data collection technique is a narrative essay writing test. Data processing techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test obtained t hit (6,586)> t list (1.67), so accept Hi means that the problem-based learning model is more effective than the guided inquiry model on the ability to write narrative essays in class VII students of SMPN 1 Kadugede. The conclusions of this study are 1) the learning process of writing narrative essays by applying the problem-based learning model is better than the guided inquiry model, 2) the student activity in learning to write narrative essays by applying the problem-based learning model is better than the guided inquiry model, 3 ) the problem-based learning model is more effective than the guided inquiry model for the ability to write narrative essays.

Abstract

Paduan zirkonium banyak digunakan pada reaktor nuklir karena keunggulan dan sifat mekaniknya serta tahan korosi dalam air pada temperatur tinggi. Salah satu usaha untuk lebih meningkatkan sifat mekanik paduan zirkonium adalah dengan melakukan proses perlakuan panas β-quenching. Dalam penelitian ini telah dilakukan proses perlakuan panas pada logam paduan zirkonium hasil peleburan dengan menggunakan tungku pelelehan busur tunggal (Single Arc Melting Furnace). Proses perlakuan panas dilakukan dengan cara memanaskan paduan zirkonium (Zr-AI) sampai temperatur pemanasan 900oC dengan waktu penahanan 60 menit, kemudian di celup cepat (quenching) dengan menggunakan media air. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan mikroskop optik menunjukkan bahwa ingot hasil peleburan mempunyai struktur dendrit dan parallel plate dengan Struktur mikro hasil perlakuan panas adalah dendrit. Untuk mengetahui nilai kekerasan paduan Zr-Al dilakukan uji kekerasan mikro vickers. Harga kekerasan hasil perlakuan panas untuk semua paduan berkisar antara 799.33 Hv sampai 890 Hv.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of students in social studies learning material on economic activities. To overcome this, the researchers conducted research by applying NHT type cooperative learning. The purpose of this research is to increase students' interest and learning outcomes in social studies learning material on economic activities. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted on students in grades IV-A which was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning , action , observation , and reflection.. The instruments used are teacher performance observation sheets, teacher interview sheets, learning interest observation sheets, learning interest questionnaires, and social studies learning outcomes test sheets. Students' interest in learning is based on observations and questionnaires, the initial conditions are 39.5%, the first cycle is 75.5% and the second cycle is 87.1%. The increase in learning interest from the initial condition to the first cycle was 36%, while the increase from the first cycle to the second cycle was 11.6%, the total increase was 47.6%. These results show a significant increase. Student learning outcomes, the initial conditions showed 35% of students who completed, in the first cycle increased to 70% and the second cycle to 95%. The increase in learning outcomes from the initial conditions to the first cycle was 35%, while the increase from the first cycle to the second cycle was 25%, the total increase was 60%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning of the NHT type in social studies subjects for economic activities can increase the interest and learning outcomes of grade IV-A students at SDN Cilembu, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency.

Abstract

Company's excellence center will be achieved with competent human resources towards the company's rapid competitiveness. This study aims to investigate how work experience and job training affect employee performance in the Engineering Maintenance Department Organisation at PT XYZ. Population and sample for this study included Engineering and Maintenance employees at PT XYZ. The research utilized multiple linear regression analysis as the primary method to examine the relationships between the variables. A quantitative approach was employed. Research sample was chosen using saturated sampling technique, the study involved a total of 35 respondents. Data analysis results indicate that work experience and job training significantly impact employee performance. According to the coefficient of determination test results, training and compensation contribute 43.2% to employee performance. From this research it is recommended to PT XYZ increase investment in training and develop strategies to enhance employee performance. This should help improve the quality standards of employee performance through training, enabling employees to gain more valuable experience, maintain a smooth production process, and produce high-quality goods.

Abstract

Education is an important factor in human development. The education system in each country is different, depending on the existing social, cultural, political and economic context. Finland is known as one of the countries that has a quality and successful education system that is recognized worldwide. Indonesia, as a developing country, is still trying to improve the quality of education that can meet the needs and challenges of the times. This research aims to compare the management of educational units in Finland and Indonesia, using descriptive qualitative methods. Data was collected from various literature sources relevant to the research topic. The research results show that there are several differences between the management of educational units in Finland and Indonesia, namely: (1) Finland applies the principle of equality, while Indonesia colors its education system with a lot of competition; (2) Finland does not have a class failure and student ranking system, while Indonesia still uses this system; (3) Finland provides a weekly study load of around 30 hours, while Indonesia provides around 40 hours; (4) Finland places more emphasis on problem solving methods, while Indonesia places more emphasis on learning in class; (5) Finland does not burden students with many assignments, whereas Indonesia almost makes assignments a routine agenda for every meeting; (6) Finland sets a minimum teacher qualification of S2 (Master), while Indonesia is D4; (7) Finland sets the minimum qualification for students entering basic education at a minimum of 7 years, while Indonesia's minimum is 6 years (5.5 years with a written recommendation from a professional psychologist). It is hoped that this research will provide insight and inspiration for education managers and practitioners in Indonesia to continue to innovate and improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan metode anca dalam pembelajaran membaca dini (keaksaraan) anak di KB Kemuning Putih, untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan metode shichida dalam pembelajaran membaca dini (keaksaraan) anak di KB Kemuning Putih, untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan hasil perbedaan antara dengan menggunakan metode anca dan metode shichida dalam pembelajaran membaca dini anak. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berbentuk lembar tes untuk memperoleh nilai kemampuan membaca. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan secara statistik dengan menggunakan Uji t-tes, yaitu analisis untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan membaca dini pada anak antara penggunaan metode Aanca dan metode shichida. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 22 anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan hal-hal sebagai berikut : 1) kemampuan membaca (keaksaraan) anak dengan menggunakan metode anca termasuk pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 14; 2) kemampuan membaca anak dengan menggunakan metode shichida termasuk pada kategori cukup dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 12;. Terdapat perbedaan antara hasil pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode anca dan metode shichida dalam pembelajaran membaca dini anak karena thitung 3,8 > ttabel (2,07). Maka dengan demikian penggunaan metode anca lebih baik dibanding dengan penerapan metode shichida.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan upaya merangsang, membimbing, membina dan memberikan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan dan kemampuan anak. Penggunaan bahan plastisin memberikan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan bermanfaat bagi anak, namun tidak sekedar menyenangkan. Melalui media-media tersebut, guru dapat memanfaatkannya sebagai pengenalan pembelajaran dan kesempatan memantau perkembangan anak di berbagai bidang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui 1) perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di Paud Mawar Desa Timbang Kecamatan Cigandamekar Daerah Kuningan. 2) Pengenalan alat ajar lilin plastisin di Paud Mawar Desa Timbang Kecamatan Cigandamekar Kabupaten Kuningan. 3) Bagaimana pemodelan media edukasi lilin dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif anak di Paud Mawar Desa Timbang Kecamatan Cigandamekar Kabupaten Kuningan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan peneliti yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif, berusaha mendeskripsikan dan menafsirkan data yang tersedia. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perkembangan kognitif anak di PAUD Mawar Desa Timbang Kecamatan Cigandamekar Kabupaten Kuningan dengan menggunakan alat pembelajaran model lilin berkembang dengan baik dan sejalan dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan pendidikan plastisin merupakan mainan edukatif yang terbuat dari bahan tepung yang bertekstur lembut, mempunyai kemiripan dengan tanah liat, mudah dibentuk sesuai kreasi anak, dan dapat digunakan untuk membuat mainan. mengembangkan. kemampuan kognitif anak.
