Abstract

Pengembangan aplikasi media Canva untuk memahami bacaan siswa dapat mengatasi beberapa kesulitan dan menyeimbangkan pembelajaran. Penerapan Canva untuk membaca di kalangan siswa penting dilakukan karena bantuan media Canva memiliki beberapa manfaat, antara lain meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar dengan penekanan topik yang terkait dengan pemecahan masalah. Faktor lain dalam pembelajaran yang harus diperhatikan adalah hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi dan kreasi. Alih-alih menguji hipotesis, penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) menghasilkan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D untuk mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan mendeskripsikan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pembelajaran membuat presentasi bacaan komprehensif menggunakan Canva mendapat respon positif dari siswa. Kami menyebarkan kuesioner untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa mengenai penggunaan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran bacaan komprehensif. (2) Pembelajaran membaca komprehensif merupakan tantangan bagi banyak siswa, terutama siswa bahasa Inggris pada semester 4. (3) Peningkatan keterampilan membaca komprehensif memerlukan pendekatan yang kreatif dan inovatif. Dalam hal ini, aplikasi Canva terbukti membantu memfasilitasi pembelajaran tersebut secara menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

Student discipline is very important for the progress of the school itself. An orderly school will create a good learning process. However, on the other hand, in less orderly schools the conditions will be much different and the learning process will be less effective. Improving discipline towards students is very important for schools, considering that schools are the place for the nation's next generation. Discipline is very necessary in schools to become reliable mental formation institutions. Without the value of discipline, schools will only become places where various kinds of conflicts can arise so that chaos can occur due to disciplinary actions. The aim of the research that the author wants to carry out is to find out the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering learning discipline in class X TKR students at SMK N 1 Pekalongan, East Lampung Regency. To obtain concrete data in field research, the research design in this study used qualitative descriptive research. In the course of collecting data the author used observation, interviews and documentation methods. Meanwhile, in analyzing, the author uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. To support the description of the situation in the field, the author includes documentation to complement and strengthen the research data. The results of this research show that after conducting research, the role of PAI teachers was found, namely as an educator, tutor, leader, mentor, motivator, coordinator, evaluator and also as a role model. With this role, teachers instill the character of discipline and responsibility in children when learning in class and in other school activities outside the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of group guidance using discussion techniques on santri’s ability to apply english communication skill. This research method uses experiments with 8 research subjects, which were obtained from the results of questionnaire analysis whose validity has been tested as a support for the guidance and counseling service approach. Data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this experimental research show that group guidance using discussion techniques can influence santri’s ability to apply english communication skill on the 8 students who were the subjects. Score of students' ability to apply english communication skill before being given action (pre-test) namely 10.75 which is included in the low category. After taking action (post-test) the score is 15.87 which is included in the sufficient category. Thus, it can be recommended that group guidance using discussion techniques can influence students' ability to apply english communication skill.
